As he spoke, Black Zetsu flickered behind Madara. Taking advantage of the other's complete lack of defense, he directly injected the black solution that constituted his body into the wound.
"Damn it! What are you doing?"
Shocked and enraged by this sudden turn of events, Madara found his body already beginning to spiral out of his control.
"What am I doing? Doing exactly what I've always wanted to do! Did you think Obito and Nagato were the only ones being played? No! You were one of them all along! Hahahahaha!"
Watching the expression on Madara's face shift from shock to fury and then to bitter regret, Black Zetsu finally let out a mocking, mad laugh. As the greatest mastermind of this world, he had plotted for a full thousand years for this very moment. Now that he was finally on the verge of rescuing his sealed mother, his heart was overflowing with excitement, agitation, and unparalleled joy.
"Bastard! You dared to deceive me?" Madara roared in uncontrollable rage.
Unfortunately, what could he do now besides vent his useless fury?
"That man was right, you are an utter fool. Did you know? I have lived from the era of Hagoromo, the Sage of the Six Paths, until now. I personally orchestrated the fratricide between Indra and Asura and secretly modified the contents of that stone tablet. The hilarious part is that you, a man who prides himself on being clever, actually believed it without a doubt."
While mocking Madara's stupidity, Black Zetsu began attempting to extract even more chakra to mold a body for the soon-to-be-resurrected Kaguya. Though he still didn't quite understand why Allen had allowed him to undo the final seal, he remained convinced that once Kaguya returned, all problems would cease to be problems.
"What exactly is your goal?"
Watching his own body being bloated bit by bit by a massive surge of chakra, Madara realized he was about to die and chose to ask the final question he cared about.
"My goal? To resurrect the legendary Rabbit Goddess, the mother of Hagoromo the Sage of the Six Paths, the progenitor of chakra in this world, Kaguya Otsutsuki."
As the final word left his mouth, Madara's body finally reached its limit and exploded with a bang.
"Oh no!"
"Stop him, quick!"
Naruto and Sasuke charged straight ahead, hoping to use their Yin-Yang Release to seal Kaguya before she could fully recover during this window of time.
Regrettably, before they could even get close, long white hair like a cascading waterfall bound them tightly. In less than two or three seconds, a woman with pale skin and strikingly long hair finally materialized out of thin air.
She possessed not only the Byakugan but also a Rinne Sharingan on her forehead representing the Ten-Tails' God Tree. Clad in a voluminous white robe, her face was cold and devoid of any emotion.
There was no need to ask; this woman was Kaguya, the extraterrestrial being who had invaded this world. The unbelievable amount of chakra within her body far exceeded the limits of anyone's imagination. One could even say she herself had gathered roughly one-half to one-third of the life force of the entire planet beneath their feet.
"Hehe, you've finally appeared, Kaguya Otsutsuki."
Allen slowly drew the Sulfuras Sword, his eyes flickering with raw, unshielded killing intent.
Through the Spirit Bond, the three wolves felt their master's intense fighting spirit. They immediately abandoned the "slacking" state they had maintained while dealing with Madara, their entire bodies now radiating a wild, fierce aura.
"Mother, be careful. This fellow is somewhat unusual," Black Zetsu whispered a warning.
"Something is wrong. What happened? Why is the God Tree so weak?" Kaguya questioned, her brow furrowed.
Unlike amateur users like Kabuto or Madara, she knew exactly what kind of power a fully restored God Tree should possess. But now? Even the speed of extracting chakra was ten times slower than usual!
"The God Tree?"
Black Zetsu froze for a moment, then immediately looked up to glare at Allen nearby. "It's you! It must be your doing, isn't it? You sealed almost every Tailed Beast inside your own body earlier!"
"Precisely! It seems there's a reason you could lead fools like Madara and Indra around by the nose."
Allen didn't hide anything and admitted it openly. Not only that, he raised his hand and, using the mediums he had seized from the Tailed Beasts, directly extracted the surrounding natural energy.
He explained nonchalantly, "You know, at the very beginning, I kept wondering what the Tailed Beasts and the God Tree actually were, how they could extract life force and convert it into an energy called chakra. After research and experimentation, I finally discovered that the chakra itself isn't the most important part. What matters most are the mediums invisible to the naked eye!"
"It is these mediums that convert life force into chakra. Therefore, during the process of collecting the Tailed Beasts, I extracted ninety percent of the mediums that originally belonged to the God Tree. The remaining portion is all that constitutes the current God Tree."
"You... you actually outschemed me?!" Black Zetsu let out an unbelievable, piercing shriek.
"Outschemed? Are you even worthy of using that word?" Allen countered with a half-smile.
"Bastard! You will pay the price for your arrogance! Mother! Careful! This guy already possesses power very close to your own!"
As he spoke these words, Black Zetsu's tone was filled with fury, ferocity, and resentment. He never would have dreamed in his wildest fantasies that his plan would end up with such a massive flaw.
"Silence!"
Kaguya cut off Black Zetsu directly. While others might not understand the nature of the God Tree, she knew it perfectly. Allen's words just now had far exceeded the civilization limits of this planet; even her two sons, Hagoromo and Hamura, never understood what the essence of the God Tree truly was.
Under his mother's reprimand, the "filial" Black Zetsu instantly turned into a well-behaved child, shrinking back into the sleeve of her voluminous robe.
Once the fellow had completely quieted down, Kaguya stared into Allen's eyes and asked, "You cannot be a person of this world. Who exactly are you?"
"What?"
"Not a person of this world?"
Sasuke, Naruto, and even Obito widened their mouths in shock. Though they had all felt to some degree that Allen's thinking and way of acting were completely out of sync with the Ninja World, especially that power called Nen, which had never appeared before, no one had ever imagined he might come from another world entirely.
"Yes. You guessed right. I am not of this world! I come from another world with far more advanced technology. Thus, I possess a perspective and insight that surpasses everyone here. I understand perfectly what it means to use biological technology to harvest the energy of a planet."
"Exploration, plunder... you and your kin are just like Grim Reapers, constantly traversing the universe, searching for planets with powerful life force to harvest energy and create crystals called Chakra Fruit, all to continuously evolve your own life tier. As for the planets themselves, or the fate of the sentient life and civilizations upon them, you never cared, you didn't even consider their existence. Am I right?"
Allen not only revealed his own identity but simultaneously tore the mask off hers.
