"What happened?"
"Wasn't I just dead a moment ago?"
"Has the... has the Reanimation been released?"
"Is this the legendary power of the Sage's Eyes combined with the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki?"
In an instant, everyone was shocked that this terrifying secret technique could actually reverse the laws of life and death.
Hashirama Senju, in particular, touched his own face repeatedly. Only after confirming that none of this was a genjutsu did he look up at the young man standing nearby, who seemed frozen in place.
He knew better than most how much chakra was required to resurrect a body with the Sage's constitution all at once.
But Kabuto Yakushi?
He had accomplished it in a heartbeat!
While most of the resurrected shinobi were still dazed, Black Zetsu suddenly lunged at the temporarily immobilized Kabuto with incredible speed, gouging the pair of Rinnegan straight out of his eye sockets.
Instantly!
The Ten-Tails lost its restraint and began to squeeze out of Kabuto's body bit by bit, manifesting once again before everyone in the form of the Gedo Statue.
"The eyes! Give me those eyes!" Madara urged impatiently.
"Here!"
Without a second thought, Black Zetsu cast aside the now-useless Kabuto and delivered the Rinnegan to Madara.
Without a moment's hesitation!
Madara jammed the eyes into his dark, empty sockets.
Immediately following this, his entire body radiated an aura even more formidable than before. He burst into triumphant laughter: "Hahahaha! Success! I have finally reclaimed my own eyes. Now, let us officially commence the Eye of the Moon Plan. First step: becoming the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails."
"What? You want to become the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki too?" Hashirama's face paled instantly.
"Naturally! This was my plan from the very beginning! That brat simply beat me to it by one step."
As he spoke, Madara cast a mocking glance at the dying Kabuto collapsed on the ground.
The price for performing the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu was the caster's own life! Had he remained the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki, he might have endured a while longer, but after losing the beast, his death was now a certainty.
"Do you also intend to become the second Sage of the Six Paths and rule over the entire Shinobi World?" Hashirama continued his interrogation.
But this time, Madara showed an expression of disdain: "Become the second Sage of the Six Paths? No! My ideals and desires have never changed! It is to end war forever! To create a world of peace! Becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki is merely the first step. The second step is to project a powerful genjutsu directly onto the moon, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, immersing everyone in a world of illusion. That way, war will naturally cease to exist."
Hearing this, not only was Hashirama stunned, but everyone else, including Sasuke, was speechless.
It wasn't because the plan was impressive. It was because they couldn't believe that the world-renowned "Ghost of the Uchiha," Madara Uchiha, was actually brain-dead to this extent!
He wanted everyone to live permanently in a dream?
Anyone with a shred of logic or sanity wouldn't consider that to have a damn thing to do with peace.
A madman! This was a true lunatic and a psychopath!
However...
Considering that the "God of Shinobi," Hashirama Senju, was a total buffoon, it wasn't exactly hard to accept that his best friend Madara was a delusional madman. As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together.
"Sage Art: Gracious Deity Gates! Madara! I won't let you have your way!"
Realizing his old friend's true objective, Hashirama decisively unleashed his trump card, summoning countless red torii gates to pin the massive Ten-Tails to the ground, rendering it immobile.
"Hmph! You're welcome to try and stop me!" Madara's lips curled into a contemptuous smile. "Limbo: Border Jail!"
Instantly!
Four shadows, invisible to anyone else, lunged forward.
In the next second...
Pfft!
Caught off guard, Hashirama had a gash torn across his abdomen, and blood sprayed out. Fortunately, with his Sage body, such a wound was far from fatal. After a few seconds of regeneration, the bleeding stopped completely.
However, he was clearly more concerned about the attack he had been unable to sense.
"Amaterasu!"
Just as Madara was gloating, Sasuke launched a decisive sneak attack from behind. Simultaneously, the others snapped out of their shock and began unleashing their signature jutsu at Madara.
No one wanted to live in a world of lies and illusions, even if that world was "peaceful."
While the majority's attention was fixed on Madara and the Ten-Tails, Allen led Orochimaru to the dying Kabuto and asked expressionlessly, "Do you have any last words?"
"It... it was you, wasn't it? You... you're the one behind all of this." Kabuto tried to uncover the truth with his dying breath.
"That's right. It was me. I tampered with the Rinnegan you stole from Nagato. After all, those eyes never belonged to you; they belonged to Madara Uchiha. You never had true control over them," Allen replied without hesitation.
"Why? Why would you do this?"
Kabuto struggled to push himself up, his voice filled with intense confusion. He clearly couldn't fathom Allen's motives.
"Hehehehe... regarding that question, allow me to answer."
Orochimaru stepped forward and whispered into Kabuto's ear, recounting the entire history of Kaguya, the Sage of the Six Paths, Indra, Asura, and everything that had transpired since the battle at the Valley of the End.
After hearing the secrets hidden behind the scenes, Kabuto finally couldn't help but laugh. As he laughed, he mocked himself: "I see! I was just a pawn. No, not just me. Madara, Obito, and the entire Akatsuki were all just tools. What a shame! I'm about to die! I won't be able to see the moment you slay a god."
"There's nothing to be ashamed of. I promise you, whether it's Madara, Black Zetsu, or Kaguya herself, they'll all be joining you shortly."
With that, Allen ignored Kabuto. He lightly stretched his arms and fingers, looking up at the figure in the sky who was single-handedly taking on an entire army.
It had to be said that after reclaiming the Rinnegan, Madara's strength had surpassed everyone on the field. Even his old rival, Hashirama, was no longer a match for him. In just a few minutes, he had used the terrifying Rinnegan ability, Planetary Devastation, to wipe out nearly two-thirds of his enemies.
The Shinobi Allied Forces led by Tsunade couldn't even manage a distraction; they were crushed into paste, their bodies pinned beneath the falling meteors. No one present had the ability to stop a super-meteor with a diameter of over a hundred meters falling from the sky.
Just as Madara was relishing the thrill of total dominance, Allen suddenly leaped into the air. He cocked his fist and smashed it violently into the second meteor.
Before anyone could process what was happening, an ear-splitting boom echoed across the entire battlefield.
