Seok was aware of this. If he didn't gain the attention of the elite Versleken Academy, the rest of the world would be nothing but exploitation of his abilities. He had heard many promises from Professor Leo, the supervisor, and the heir to the Duchy of de Molière, Ruichi.
But both promises came with an extremely difficult condition: that he survive until the time came to fulfill them.
To receive support from the most powerful family in Central Africa, to join the Masters Class to be held next year, and to receive many priceless privileges that would allow him to live the life he had always dreamed of.
But all of this came at the cost of fulfilling a condition he considered impossible to live and survive until the time came to fulfill those many promises.
A place where the elite die, and the children of noble families and high-ranking positions are in a society where all opportunities for advancement are available.
How could a mere common child, whose biggest worry was a single meal a day, survive amidst all this chaos? How could he? It was a miracle, impossible. He wasn't a protagonist or a minor character to receive a plot shield.
What was he, just a compass character, created to show that there were characters within the story? To receive a plot shield as a writer's consolation prize? That was utterly impossible for him.
Being alive for even an hour, with a unique ability, was an achievement in itself, something only characters of his kind appear to fill a scene.
Seok closed his eyes, trying to disconnect from the world around him for just a few seconds.
He found no way to survive, falling to the ground in a state of pitiful despair.
In the midst of this devastation, he was like a small kitten, not knowing what to do. He wasn't strong, talented, rich, or intelligent. He possessed nothing, just an ordinary young man trying to survive in a world created for the strong.
The strong do as they please, whenever they please, and the weak grovel to the strong to live like a filthy dog waiting for food.
After several minutes, Seok opened his eyes to look at an empty square, devoid of any person or entity. The terrifying power of the characters made any monster He didn't dare enter the battlefield.
"It's all over. The students and teachers have returned to their first-grade classes to fight the Scorpion Organization's followers. Haaaaaah!" Seok spoke, gazing at the sky, his mind racing.
He struggled to his feet, his mental exhaustion far outweighing his physical, which could be cured by his special domes. His mental state was beyond his control.
Seok's steps were unsteady; each step required a great deal of energy.
Seok's gaze darted around, searching for Sooho, who hadn't appeared yet.
While searching for Sooho, Seok's eyes fell upon a young man lying on a nearby tree trunk. The upper part of the tree was charred from a fiery attack.
Shock registered on Seok's face as he looked at the young man. "Sooho, is that you?" he asked with great difficulty.
"…"
Hearing no reply, he grew even more worried. He immediately strode towards the young man, who was Lying motionless against a tree trunk
After several minutes, Seok reached the trunk.
He found a young man, Suho, lying in a pool of blood, his injuries numerous.
The flesh of his left cheek was gone, his teeth shattered, creating an unsightly scene. The flesh mixed with the teeth was something impossible to look at.
His right hand was completely mangled, barely recognizable as a hand. His body was riddled with wounds and fractures all over.
Seok collapsed before his childhood friend's lifeless body, his gaze heavy with despair. "Suho, are you dead? Just say something."
"…"
No answer. Silence reigned for several seconds before Suho's body began to vanish like a golden mist.
Seok's pupils shrunk to the size of pins as he watched his friend disappear before him, powerless.
Tears began to stream from his dark eyes as he watched the last vestige of his friend vanish without a word.
He couldn't He uttered a single word; all the words escaped his mouth, leaving him helpless, unable to do anything but stare, like any useless person.
"I'm truly sorry. I didn't want this to happen. Why did you die? We wanted to become stronger now, to lift our families out of poverty. But you died, turned to golden mist. Why? Why does this always happen?"
"People live in luxury, doing as they please, and we're just toys they play with and discard when they're bored. Why?"
An overwhelming dark aura formed around Seok's body, while his eyes glowed with a white light and his hair floated in the sky.
In fractions of a second, Seok's condition returned to normal. The wounds, blood, dust, and mud that had covered his body vanished completely.
"Aaaaaaah!" Seok let out a scream. High-powered, its echo reverberating across the land, a battle that instilled terror in the hearts of many.
Seok turned his gaze to the scene of the war. His anger wasn't directed solely at the followers of the Scorpion Organization, but also at those responsible for Sooho's death.
It made sense, since they were from their own ranks—teachers or students—who had beaten him to death. After all, Seok and Sooho were commoners; their deaths wouldn't have much impact on the sons of noblemen and families of high social standing.
This is what enraged him and threw him into a frenzy. The death of his comrade, just to satisfy some scum, simply because they were the sons of people of high standing?
A giant dome began to form, engulfing Jeju Island entirely. This was a fusion dome, one of over 60 different types of fusion domes among his own, forming the perfect dome.
Seok clenched his fist, staring at it for several seconds without saying a word. Anything to draw his attention once more to the raging battlefield.
He spoke coldly as he surveyed the battlefield across his own absolute domain. "The losses aren't significant on either side. 36 students and 23 professors have died on their side, and 45 from the Scorpion Organization."
"So, the numbers are 201 fighters from the Ferslekin Academy and 195 from the Scorpion Organization. The advantage is currently ours."
Seok vanished from his position, leaving the rear rows empty of any presence whatsoever, only to reappear above the battlefield.
He gestured towards a group of Scorpion Organization members, who seemed to rise into the sky, their faces etched with apprehension.
The battle had ceased once more as they looked onThe 25 Scorpion Organization followers were facing off.
Seok's eyes narrowed as he looked at the Scorpion Organization followers, then he closed his hands.
The Scorpion Organization followers' bodies began to shrink inwards, transforming into a palm-sized ball with incredible speed. They couldn't even scream before exploding into pieces in mid-air.
Shock appeared on some faces, concern on others, and curiosity on the faces of Shadow Scorpion and Light as they watched what had happened.
Meanwhile, Beatrice, Grey, and Roichi remembered Suho's words from several hours earlier: Seok, in a state of chaos, becomes an extremely terrifying entity, and nothing can stand against him.
Flashback
Seok took a deep breath before saying anything. "Fine, I agree, but I'm not obligated to fight on the front lines. You must guarantee my safety and Suho's. That's one of my conditions for joining you."
Before Roichi could say anything, Suho moved them aside to talk amongst themselves about something he considered extremely important, especially After seeing Seok's psychologically unstable state,
Ruichi, Lucy, and Gray both looked at each other with a mixture of astonishment and disbelief at Soho's bravery as he pushed them along. However, his serious expression led him to ignore the situation.
After they had moved a few meters away from Seok, a sigh of concern escaped Soho's lips. "I just want to say one thing, and that's that we shouldn't let Seok enter a state of chaos as much as possible."
"I know you're surprised by what I'm saying, but Seok's true power is the Absolute Field. Anything can be done within this field; he has absolute power. Moreover, his power within this field is unrelated to his actual strength level."
"Even as an infant, he was able to use it and easily kill a skilled ruler-rank fighter."
"But the condition for activating it is a severe psychological shock, like witnessing someone die before his eyes, or feeling that a loved one has died, or being on the verge of death himself. That's why we call it a state of agitation or chaos."
Flashback
All eyes were on Seok, who was floating in the atmosphere Before them
His power was ridiculously brutal, yet signs of awareness appeared on the faces of some of the characters.
Scorpion Shadow and Light spoke, looking at Seok with some interest. "He is a half-cursed being from the Realm of the Masters. Curses are encoded in the serial number gh7586886887. Entities in that realm rely on negative emotions to utilize their abilities and possess the power to create fields. Therefore, it makes sense that he could use a field and subdue stronger entities, since there are no power levels in that realm. The simple law is: whoever possesses the strongest field wins."
Yorchi turned his gaze towards Scorpion Shadow and Light after hearing this.
The phenomenon of characters transferring from one ordinary world to another was rare, but a half-cursed being was something strange they had never encountered before.
For Seok, a hazy collection of memories appeared and intertwined, forming a complete chain.
He moved his hand, erasing all the followers of the Scorpion Organization outside the island, except for Scorpion Shadow and Light. Noor
The faces of both students and professors shifted to shock as they stared at Seok, who had killed 195 members of the Scorpion Organization as if they were mere worthless insects.
Seok was in conflict with himself. Memories of his chaotic past surfaced painfully in his mind.
Six years ago, in Madinke City, at 8:45 AM, a 54-year-old man and a 9-year-old boy were carrying medicinal herbs to sell.
A happy smile spread across Seok's face as he
strolled through the Sunday markets of Madinke City. The medicinal herbs harvest was plentiful that day, and the price would be high: 355 copper coins and 4 silver coins would be an excellent sum.
"We've harvested a large quantity of herbs, and we'll have plenty of money. We won't have to worry about expenses for the next five months," Seok said happily, trying not to drop the basket of herbs slung over his back.
His father laughed loudly. As he watched his son's reckless and impulsive behavior, he said, "Be careful, you might get into trouble because of your impulsiveness."
Seok ignored his father's warning and started jumping around,
laughing loudly.
The atmosphere in the Makindi City market was bustling with activity and noise; vendors were everywhere.
While wandering through the market, Seok bumped into a woman whose clothes suggested she was of high status.
Seok fell to the ground after being pushed by the woman, who appeared annoyed and disgusted.
She glanced down at her clothes and found them torn, her face contorted with anger.
"How dare a mere insect ruin my precious garment?" she shouted, glaring at Seok, who seemed bewildered by what was happening.
A young man approached them with a slight smile on his face as he looked at the angry woman. "My dear Xiao Suan, what happened? Why are you so upset?"
Xiao's gaze Swan turned to Dustin, who was the Sunday Lord of Makindi City and the head of the Selcarmen family.
She spoke angrily, pointing at Seok, who was lying on the ground, gathering the medicinal herbs that had fallen to the ground.
"That filthy bastard came here to tear my clothes and ruin my dear Dustin's day. Deal with him!"
Dustin's eyes flashed with obvious annoyance as he looked at Seok and then kicked him several meters away in the face.
Seok's face was covered in blood and showed a great deal of shock as he looked at Dustin, who was looking at him with undisguised disgust.
Dustin moved towards Seok, his face contorted with rage, and delivered several kicks to Seok's body.
He shouted loudly, "How dare a bastard like you touch Xiao Swan, the daughter of the Sunday Lord of Makindi City, Kim Tao?"
Seok couldn't say anything; Dustin's blows prevented him from speaking or defending himself.
Disgust was evident as He looked towards Seok, who was clutching his leg, pleading for his life, tears streaming down his face from the intense pain. "I... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to ruin Mr. Xiao Suan's clothes! Please, just have mercy!"
A sickening smile spread across his lips as he delivered a kick to Seok's face, sending him flying several meters before he slammed into a wall with such force that some of his bones broke.
"Aaaaaah!" Seok screamed in agony, clutching his face, which was covered in blood.
"Seok, what?""What's happening?" the father spoke in shock, looking at his son, who was suffering from multiple fractures and serious injuries.
He was then surprised by a punch that sent him flying several meters, causing him to fall to the ground. A basket full of herbs shattered, its contents scattering across the street.
Seok's father's gaze was filled with pain and anguish as he tried to reach his son, but someone followed him, delivering a kick that sent Seok's son flying several meters, crashing through walls.
While Seok's father was still at the SSS++ level, he was nothing compared to the City Lord's henchman.
Seok's father's body appeared, riddled with fractures and unable to move.
A cold smile spread across the faces of the City Lord and his followers as they watched Seok and his father. The City Lord of Makindi spoke, "Kill these damned vermin. Mere trash. They're trying to ruin my sweetheart's day. They're so annoying."
Seok's eyes shriveled to the size of a pin, a dark aura of murderous intent emanating from his body. His eyes glowed white, and his hair floated in the sky.
Seok rose from his seat, all his injuries healed by his healing dome, without saying a word. He muttered softly as his body wobbly, "Anyone who harms Seok must die. Seok is furious. Whoever upsets Seok will die. You are all just vermin that must be crushed."
Confusion spread across everyone's faces. The Lord of Makindi City spoke, bewildered, "What the hell is going on?"
He composed himself and looked in his direction. "Kill this damned clown."
Seok glared at him, a look that sent him and his lover sprawling to the ground.
Seok then turned towards the person who had struck his father and left him in this state.
Seok's steps were unsteady, carrying an overwhelming force that instilled fear in everyone present.
"You "Get away from me, you bastard!" Dustin's henchman roared, pointing his weapon at him.
Despite this, Seok's expression remained unchanged. He moved his hand, and the henchman's arm exploded, transforming into a mass of blood that covered the ground and their clothes.
The henchman's eyes, along with everyone present, opened wide. He screamed in pain, "Aaaaaah..."
But Seok didn't even allow him a scream. He transformed him into a ball the size of a palm and exploded it again.
"Attack that bastard!" Dustin yelled, ordering his henchmen to attack Seok.
Seok looked at him for a few seconds before clenching his fist and turning all the henchmen, the organization, and the buildings to dust without saying a word.
"What the hell is going on? How can he be this strong?" Dustin said, looking at the mangled corpse of his henchman.
He turned his gaze to Seok, covered in his henchmen's blood, and approached him, his face black with fear.
His expressions Dustin and Xiao Swan's faces turned black with fear, and all their attempts to escape failed. With Seok's dome, escape was impossible.
Seok pointed his hand at both of them without saying a word or allowing either of them to speak.
The Lord of Makindi City and his lover floated in the air while Seok watched them with deadly coldness.
They both began to float in the sky above Pinka, clutching their necks, unable to breathe.
"What's going on? How can a child be so strong?"
"Lord Dustin and Lady Xiao Swan must bear the consequences of their arrogance."
Annoyance flashed across Seok's face as he listened to what he considered mere gossip and disgusting noise.
Seok snapped his fingers, turning everyone present into pools of blood, so enraged was he by them.
When he was being beaten, they watched without saying or doing anything, but when the tide turned in his favor... They began to cheer him on and insult both Dustin and Xiao Suan.
For Seok, their deaths were preferable to their continued existence.
Tears streamed down Xiao Suan's face as she gasped for air. "P-please... have mercy," she cried.
Seok turned to her, repeating his earlier words, "Anyone who harms Seok must die. Seok is furious. Anyone who makes Seok sad will die. You are all just vermin to be crushed."
"Mercy is something you will never see. He who shows no mercy will receive no mercy."
He turned to them, his overwhelming aura growing stronger, and raised his hand, turning them all into a spray of blood.
He then went straight to his son, who had fully recovered from all his injuries, and took him to a relatively safe place.
Seok's body began to recover, and his dark aura diminished until it disappeared completely. He collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
After a while... Several minutes passed before Seok opened his eyes to find his father unconscious, his face and clothes covered in dried blood, but physically unharmed.
Seok looked around to see devastation and blood, several mutilated bodies all around him, his own body covered in blood.
Half of Madinke City had been completely destroyed in just a few minutes since the start of the incident.
"What the hell happened?"
