I had a pretty good rest and I'm finally ready to get back to posting chapters. I'm going to start again tomorrow.
But there's a bit of a catch. During my break, I kept going back over everything I'd already written from memory and comparing it to what I want to write next. In the end, I came to the conclusion that there are some inaccuracies in the system.
To be specific: Regis's soul, numerically speaking, was too small at the moment of birth. Second, when Lucius used the system against two people, I wrote that he inserted the World Seed into the Four-Sided Physique, but later I realized that wasn't quite right, so just forget about that part. He simply gave it away as an ordinary item.
Also, when Lucius received god-runes from Arthur, he only received the god-rune and aether, but now I think he should also have received the Intelligence perk. And quite a lot of it too: more than 3,000 from 11th-rank god-runes and more than 7,000 from 12th-rank ones (that's without the system's x10). Lucius should also receive some amount of Intelligence points when accepting god-runes, especially 13th-rank ones.
Ideally, all of this should be rewritten, and maybe I'll do that.
Someday.
Maybe.
Yes, definitely.
But jokes aside, for those of you who aren't reading this as it comes out, but binging it all at once, and at some point notice inconsistencies, strange numbers, or moments that later seem to work a little differently, just keep this in mind: I see it, I know about it, and the reason isn't some clever master plan-it's simply that I'm a lazy ass who still hasn't sat down and redone everything properly.
There's one last thing. I've already written the beginning of the academy arc, and the World Seed appears there, but I seriously went overboard and wrote more than 90,000 characters-about 15,000 words total (the average chapter of this fanfic is 3,000–4,000 words). Since I got carried away, I started describing every action far too vividly, and because I was writing it over the course of about three days with breaks, I naturally repeated myself, which made the text start to look like something written by AI.
Once I realized it already looked AI-generated, and that it probably couldn't be saved without deleting a lot of the text entirely, I ran it through AI to remove the tedious repetition. And now I don't know what to do: whenever I try to rewrite those chapters from scratch, the text I already wrote keeps popping back into my head, and I just can't come up with anything different.
So if I can't figure out how to fix it, then two or three chapters will come out feeling like they were edited with the help of AI.
I think that's everything I wanted to say. The numbers in the next chapters will be slightly different-just know that those are exactly the things I'm planning to fix.
