Chapter 14 - New Eeron

(Traing Arc Ends)

After the warm-up session with Mr. Iyer, Eeron headed straight home. His house stood quietly in Fujiyoshida, nestled right beside the towering, snow-capped presence of Mount Fuji. He needed to return and tell his family everything that had happened. Without wasting a moment, he set off.

Em, however, was still absorbed in her phone and didn't notice him leaving.Mr. Iyer glanced around. "You didn't go with him?"

Em looked up, startled. "Huh?! Eeron's already gone?!"

Mr. Iyer sighed. "Yes. He left quite a while ago. You really didn't notice?"Em broke into a run, chasing after him. "Eeron!! Wait for me!!" she called, her voice ringing through the evening air. By the time she caught up, she was breathless.Eeron turned around. Seeing her panting, he asked softly, "How long are you going to keep following me?""I never said I was following you," Em replied, still catching her breath. "Everyone else had already left. Jayla went with Dias, and Krittva and Systen are always together. What was I supposed to do? Sit there all alone?"Eeron's expression softened with a hint of unease. After a brief pause, he murmured, "Fine… come on, then."

Some time later, the two of them reached Eeron's house. By then, evening had quietly melted into night, so they decided to stay over and leave for Mount Fuji the next morning. They stepped through the gate and entered the house."Mom? Where are you?" Eeron called out.His mother appeared, her eyes already glistening with tears. Without a word, she walked straight up to him and delivered a firm slap across his cheek. Tears spilled down her face as she wept.

Em froze in place, completely shocked. It was only natural — walking into a friend's house and watching him get welcomed with a slap would rattle anyone. She simply stood there, watching in silence.Mrs. Shruti's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and relief. "Where have you been all these years?! Do you have any idea how worried your father and I have been?"

Eeron lowered his gaze. "Come inside. I'll explain everything."

The three of them moved into the living room, where Mr. Dharm Shuishen sat waiting, calm and composed as ever.

In his steady, quiet voice, he simply asked, "Where were you all this time?"Eeron's heart pounded. He swallowed hard and began, "Dad, I—"

Before he could continue, Em stepped forward boldly. "Uncle, your son is an undercover agent known to many as 'The Last Agent, Agent 75.' We're part of a team called 'Team Tron.' He just completed a dangerous mission and is now heading to Mount Fuji for special training."

She spoke without the slightest hesitation, her voice clear and fearless. Eeron frantically tried to stop her, whispering urgently, "Ch-ch-cht!!" Inside, he felt as if everything was about to collapse. *Thank you, God, for this life,* he thought bitterly. *My time is up. Thank you for everything.*

But Mr. Shuishen remained completely unfazed. "How do you know all this? Are you his girlfriend?""Not yet," Em replied, a shy blush creeping across her cheeks as she gave a small laugh. "Eeron hasn't said anything like that… hehe.""Okay," Mr. Shuishen said simply.Eeron stared at his father in disbelief. The man's calm demeanor left him stunned. *Is this really my dad?* Everything unfolding before his eyes felt undeniably real — something no one could change.

A short while later, they all sat together. Eeron finally told his parents the entire story. To his surprise, they accepted it without much resistance. He had been worrying over nothing. His father gave him one clear piece of advice: no matter what happened, never risk your life recklessly. After dinner, Eeron and Em retired to their rooms. There was an extra guest room right beside Eeron's. Once the two youngsters had gone upstairs, Mrs. Shruti began arguing with her husband in the quiet of the night."Why did you give him permission so easily?" she demanded. "He's our only child!"Mr. Dharm Shuishen replied gently, "He's not a child anymore. He's sixteen and knows the difference between right and wrong. It's my duty to support him in everything he chooses. If I don't stand by him, who will?"

"You're spoiling him rotten!" Shruti shot back.

"Don't worry," Mr. Shuishen said with a soft chuckle. "When he gets scared, he'll come running back to us. Hehe!" "You two are impossible!" she exclaimed, though her voice had already softened.

Eventually, they both went to sleep.

Meanwhile, in the guest room, Em suddenly sat up in bed with a sharp cry, tears flowing freely. "Ah—ahh!!"

Hearing her, everyone rushed in. "What happened? Why are you crying?"Em stayed silent for a long moment, then grew completely quiet. "It's nothing… just a bad dream," she whispered, sending them all away — except Eeron.

"What was it?" Eeron asked softly once they were alone. "Why were you crying? Did something bad happen to you?"

"It's nothing," she said at first. Then, after a pause: "Do you want to know about me?""How would I know anything? Only you know what happened." "Do you want to hear my story?"

"Don't mess with my head. Let me sleep — and let me sleep in peace!" Eeron turned to leave. But Em grabbed the back of his T-shirt from behind. "Please… stay."She took a deep breath and began to tell him everything.

From childhood, Em had always been a mischievous, lively girl. Her school wasn't far from home, so she often walked back, playing along the way. One evening, as she returned, she found her mother and father lying motionless on the floor.

"Mom? Dad?! What happened — Mom, Dad!!" she cried out in panic.A man stood behind her. She was only twelve. He asked gently, "Who are these people?" "My mom and dad… Who are you?"She turned, and a gunshot rang out. But the man caught the bullet in his bare hand.

"I'm Goyan. I'm a soldier. You just came from school?"

"Yes… but what happened to Mom and Dad? Why aren't they saying anything?" "I'm sorry, child," Goyan said, his voice heavy. "I couldn't save them."Em froze. For a moment, no words came. Then tears began streaming down her face uncontrollably. She collapsed to her knees, sobbing brokenly.

Goyan pulled her into a warm, protective embrace. "Don't worry. You have a big brother right here now."

From that day onward, Em lived with Goyan at the army camp. He treated her exactly like a little sister — waking her early for school, training her after classes, helping with homework in the evening, feeding her dinner, and tucking her into bed.

One night, after she had fallen asleep, Goyan sneaked in with a mischievous grin. From a hidden box, he took out a brand-new iPhone 5 and placed it beside her pillow. Still smiling like a kid himself — he was only nineteen — he took out a marker and doodled playfully on her sleeping face.

The next morning, Em woke up, spotted the box, and opened it with wide eyes. Overjoyed, she ran out and hugged him tightly around the waist. "Thank you so much, big brother!"

Seeing her pure happiness, Goyan smiled brightly. But everyone around them burst into laughter. Em shouted, "What's so funny? Can't a girl hug her big brother?" "We're not laughing at that," they teased. "Go look at your face in the mirror."She did — and screamed, "Big brother!! One day I'll kill you for this!!"

Everyone, including Goyan, laughed until their stomachs hurt.

Two peaceful years passed like this. It was November 2014. As usual, after dinner, they had gone out for training when a violent jolt shook the ground. A 6.2 magnitude earthquake had struck. The task force and army rushed to rescue civilians. Goyan sent Em away with the others."I promise I'll come back soon," he told her. "A soldier's job is to save people. Go with them, and never forget — 'Never give up as long as blood flows through your veins.' Understand? Now go."

With those words, he ran back into the collapsing buildings. His only thought was to save as many lives as possible. But fate had other plans. A building came crashing down on him, and he met his end — yet he died with a peaceful heart, knowing many had been saved.Fourteen soldiers lost their lives that day, including Goyan. When Em learned the news, the ground seemed to disappear beneath her feet. She fell into deep shock and was transferred to another camp. The memories of Goyan remained painfully alive in her heart.

Some days later, a man visited her, claiming to be an army leader. In reality, he was a vile, lustful man who planned to sell her on the black market. For a few days he treated her kindly and won her trust. One night, he entered her tent and woke her. "Em, we have to go. Someone is calling for you." Using false excuses, he led her away.Half-asleep, she followed. Suddenly, he pointed a gun at her. Before she could react, another man stabbed a sedative into her neck from behind. She lost consciousness. When she woke, she was in a dark underground auction hall. Over a hundred guards and more than four hundred people filled the space. Innocent girls were being auctioned off like objects. Em screamed, "What is this?!"

Her hands and feet were chained tightly.

A guard slapped her. "Stay quiet!"In a surge of rage, Em bit into the guard's hand, tearing at his veins. The man screamed and fired his Uzi. Em twisted sharply, using the chains on her wrists to block the bullets and free herself. She snatched the gun and became a whirlwind of vengeance. She broke her ankle chains with precise shots and began putting the guards and bidders to permanent sleep — one by one. Some received quicker deaths; most faced her unrelenting fury. When it was over, she sat among the silence and blood, staring at her crimson-stained hands as tears fell silently. She was certain the government would catch and execute her.

She returned to her tent one last time, packed her belongings, and took Goyan's box with her. Boarding a cargo ship, she made her way from Hokkaido to Fujiyoshida. There, she met Cuba, who helped free her from her past and quietly brought her into his group, hidden from Dias's eyes. He had also taken in Jayla. When Eeron saved Jayla, Em had been watching through CCTV. The moment she saw Eeron, an inexplicable warmth had filled her chest — like she had finally found someone who truly belonged to her. That was why she had left everything behind for a while.

One quiet night, she opened Goyan's box and found a letter inside."Em, if you're reading this, I want to tell you that you've been more than a sister to me. When you got angry, you acted like my daughter. When I was hurt or sick, you took care of me like a mother. When you came crying to me, you felt like my beloved little sister. As for love… try with someone when the time feels right, but only look for a life partner when you feel that deep, restless longing. I know you'll read this only after I'm gone. While I was alive, I wouldn't even let you touch this box. If you've read it… Good luck for your upcoming new future and new life. From now on, live on your own terms. And never forget — even when you're old and your bones fail you, never give up. Goodbye, my dear little sister."

Tears wouldn't stop flowing. She carefully folded the letter and placed it back. Soon after, she left for Taiwan — Cuba had called her urgently."So… that's my story," Em finished, her voice barely above a whisper.Eeron's eyes glistened with unshed tears. He didn't cry, but the emotion shone clearly in his gaze. Outside the window, the moon hung half-crescent in the vast night sky, its soft silver rays gently caressing Em's face.Em glanced at the clock on the wall. "My answer… can I still have it? Because twenty-four hours have already become seventy-two…"

Eeron didn't hesitate. "Yes."

Em threw her arms around him in a sudden, tight embrace. "Can we stay like this for a little while?"

A warm, inevitable feeling washed over them both. Neither could hold back any longer. And remember — all of this happened when Eeron was only twenty years old. That night, the two of them came together, their bodies and hearts intertwining in the quiet darkness. When it was over, Eeron said with a faint, breathless smile, "Are you crazy? Who bites ears like that?""I do…" Em replied playfully, cutting him off."This girl will never change," he murmured fondly.Laughing softly, they fell asleep in the same bed — still without clothes(With Blanket,Ofcourse), two wild, young souls lost in each other.

The next morning, they woke, had breakfast, and prepared to leave. Before heading toward Mount Fuji, Mrs. Shruti performed the traditional Indian send-off — applying a tika on their foreheads and feeding them curd and sugar for good luck. She hugged them both tightly, tears glistening in her eyes, then let them go. A mother's heart, after all, melts easily for her children. They reached the mountain and began climbing. Not long after, a man suddenly leaped onto Eeron, pinning him to the ground.Em shouted, "Hey, old man! Have you lost your mind?!"

She moved to attack, but Abhinav Kumar dodged smoothly and said with a grin, "Hey, girl! You talk too much. I'll be the one training both of you — properly, no shortcuts. I'm your training master, Abhinav Kumar, and right now, I'm the best you're going to get."Both of them jumped up. "You're our trainer, old man?!"

"Yes, my dear gigachads" Abhinav replied with mock formality. "Though you two seem like Not Gigachad you're nigg-""Hey, old man! Watch your tongue!!" they interrupted together.

"Haha! Don't teach me. From now on, your sessions will be fast-paced because I'm a fast-paced wri-Uhh!!ohh!!Sorry,Sorry,Sorry Fast Paced Trainer..Trainer!! So, twenty-four-hour intense training starts now. Understood?""Fast-paced?" they asked.

"You'll find out soon enough. Now come here, you," Abhinav said, calling Eeron closer. He checked Eeron's instinct valuation. The result read: 'Not True, Not Fake. It's Awakened From.'Seeing this, Abhinav understood instantly — this boy was just like him.

As always, he cast the spell, and for five straight days they trained non-stop, twenty-four hours at a time — moving boulders, enduring grueling drills, pushing their bodies to the limit. They knew the training was meant to strengthen Eeron's body. His power was already at god level, yet the refinement continued.

Finally, Abhinav gave Eeron one last serious piece of advice: "Listen, Eeron. Your training ends tomorrow — you'll receive your instinct. But remember one thing: your form is different from all the other holders. 'I'm Experienced.' I've seen it all. Never become arrogant about your form, or Gangabati will get angry. She doesn't awaken just anyone's power lightly. Out of nearly fifty-four holders, only the two of us managed to awaken hers. Keep that in mind."With those words, he sent Eeron on his way.

Night passed, and in the morning both received their radar signals — and Eeron received his instinct. He looked toward Abhinav. The two exchanged serious nods.

Then — boom.

This time, after the snap, the two of them found themselves falling toward an ancient, majestic palace.
