Mu Ning arrived at the mansion, but two colossal mecha, one with a white body and one with a red body, blocked her.
Due to the metallic body parts and the height difference, it looked intimidating.
Goosebumps spread over Gwen and Warren's bodies, and they subconsciously clung to Mu Ning.
Before Mu Ning could press for details, a mechanical voice echoed,
"Miss Mu, the lady of the house, has asked you, young master and young miss, to kneel for the next 4 hours."
"Oh? And what if I say I don't want to listen to any bullshit illogical demands for now?" Mu Ning's voice was devoid of any emotions, a telltale of how close she was to losing her temper.
The Mecha were speechless. This wasn't how they had envisioned the confrontation would be.
She should be in tears by now. Begging for a second chance, trembling with fear, and words of apology tumbling out of her mouth.
Contrary to their expectation, she acted nonchalant. Was she even the same Mu Ning from the past?
