A knock on the door, followed by Jak's voice broke Linda out of her trance with the system.
"Her majesty, it's me. Jak."
Linda broke into a smile.
Jak was her smallest of all her tamed beasts and she really thought he was cute. Despite having the body of a grown man, he was simply just a puppy.
She was really eager to see his reaction by the time he'd hear her talk.
Jak, meanwhile, opened the door and walked in, having in mind that Miss Ruellda couldn't talk.
He stood in front of Linda's bed with a pack of something.
"Her majesty, where were you? I was looking for you all over the place," Jak asked, worriedly. He vividly had a frown on his face.
Linda cleared her throat. "I'm sorry for making you worry about me, Jak. I had gone out to... to prepare for the next round."
"..."
Jak froze in place.
His eyes lit up, his tongue involuntarily fell off his mouth. He looked like a human puppy who had suddenly seen milk.
Linda blushed.
