Marine Headquarters.
Sengoku watched the live broadcast and cursed.
"That damned brat! He gets a little strength and thinks he can do whatever he wants? Has he never heard of stopping while he's ahead?
"Didn't he already achieve his goal? Why keep going? Does he think he's invincible?"
Zephyr also stared at the broadcast, completely puzzled.
Logically speaking, since the brat's goal had been achieved, he should have retreated.
What was he doing now?
Garp frowned, his voice heavy.
"That kid's Haki reminds me of someone."
The others looked at him.
"Douglas Bullet. That guy's Haki was the same. He threw it around like it didn't cost anything."
Zephyr and Sengoku had also noticed the problem.
In the image, White Ghost's Haki seemed endless. Almost every attack carried it, leaving the three Admirals unable to rely on intangibility. They could only dodge with speed or withstand it head-on.
Garp frowned in thought for a moment, then continued, "That kid is breaking through. He's looking for balance. A critical point."
The moment those words came out, everyone present was shocked.
Breaking through?
Was this a joke?
He was already this strong, and he still wanted to break through?
Garp stared at White Ghost in the broadcast.
"His ability, his Haki, and that green ghostly aura. He's trying to fuse them."
"Hey, hey. Can something like that really be done?" one of the watching officers asked in disbelief.
Sengoku and Zephyr fell silent.
There were some things they knew.
This brat was trying to take that step.
But that step was extremely, extremely difficult.
Roger had done it.
So had Whitebeard.
On the Navy's side, there was Garp.
And there was another name they did not want to mention.
That man had taken that step earliest. He had been a true monster, so strong that Garp and Roger together had nearly failed to defeat him.
On the battlefield, White Ghost's eyes were blood-red. Behind him, a ring of light suddenly appeared, slowly rotating with five colors: yellow, green, blue, white, and black.
"Ah, la la. What is that thing?"
Aokiji's expression grew solemn as he stared hard at White Ghost.
Something was very wrong with this guy.
It was one thing for his strength to surge, but now some strange ring had appeared behind him.
What was going on?
Buzz!
The ring behind White Ghost began spinning rapidly.
In the sky, he raised his greatsword.
"Blade of Gale!"
Whoosh!
A thin sword aura shot toward the three Admirals.
Danger.
All three of their Observation Haki screamed a warning at once.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
They each dodged in their own way.
Boom!
The sword aura struck the ground. Dust billowed up.
Crack.
The earth began to split.
When the dust cleared, everyone saw that the place struck by the slash had been cut open.
No.
It was not simply cut open.
A chasm had been carved straight into the earth.
"Hey, hey. Are you serious? Even a great swordsman can't do that, right?"
Aokiji stared at the abyss in lingering fear.
Borsalino's sleazy expression was gone, replaced by shock.
"How scary. I wonder how he did that."
Akainu's face was frighteningly dark.
If he had taken that attack head-on, he would have been injured. Absolutely.
"Careful."
Aokiji had been watching White Ghost the entire time, afraid he would use that attack again. Seeing him raise his greatsword, he immediately gave a warning.
White Ghost held the greatsword level.
"Gale: Dawnbreaker!"
"Danger. Dodge!"
The three reacted immediately.
Boom!
Another tremendous roar rang out. The entire large island began to shake.
A huge crack appeared, splitting the island in two.
"He cut it open? He cut the island open?"
Morgans' eyes nearly popped out as he watched.
What kind of power was this?
Power capable of splitting a large island?
Morgans stared at White Ghost, who hung in the sky like a demon god, and could not help trembling.
"This guy won't give me a slash too, will he?"
Everyone at the scene stared in shock.
Gion's mouth hung open the widest.
"Hey, Gion, what is going on with this guy? Can a great swordsman do something like that? Isn't this joke too big?"
Gion shook her head, her face full of shock.
"No. A top great swordsman can't do that."
Tokikake looked at the massive crack across the island and swallowed.
"Then how do you explain this?"
Gion thought for a long time, then pointed at the ring behind White Ghost.
"It should be that thing. That thing increased the power of his attacks."
"Look! He's moving again!"
The Marines on the warships cried out in alarm.
The people watching the broadcast and those at the scene saw White Ghost put away his greatsword and shoot upward into the clouds.
Rumble, rumble!
Inside the clouds, thunder roared and violent winds howled.
"Hey, hey. I feel like we'd better leave quickly. His target doesn't seem to be us."
Kizaru looked at the dark clouds with a frightened expression.
Sakazuki and Aokiji both nodded.
They could also sense that White Ghost was not locking onto them.
The three used their own methods to leave the island.
Kizaru was the first to return to the warship.
"Retreat. Hurry up and retreat. Something big is coming."
After Akainu and Aokiji got aboard, the warships immediately began pulling back.
The other spectators also started retreating, because the atmosphere had become extremely wrong.
Morgans controlled the hot-air balloon and kept moving away from the area. The pressure coming from the sky was terrifying.
"Roar!"
A tremendous roar spread through the sky. Everyone covered their ears. The sound was too loud.
Then their eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.
From within the dark clouds, a ferocious golden dragon head emerged.
If it had been normal size, everyone would only have been shocked.
But this was not normal at all.
Who had ever seen a dragon head a thousand meters long?
"What the hell is that?"
Morgans' feathers stood on end. His face turned pale with fright.
The golden dragon slowly opened its eyes. A terrifying energy burst from them. Then it slowly opened its mouth.
Thunder gathered and compressed in the sky.
"Faster! Faster!"
Morgans slapped the control panel nonstop.
Damn it.
This was too terrifying.
The people on the sea also desperately fled into the distance. Who knew how much damage that monstrous thing would cause?
Whoosh!
A pillar of lightning blasted from the dragon's mouth and struck the island below.
Boom, boom, boom!
The entire island began to explode. The shockwave from the attack sent waves rolling across the sea.
Everyone stared at that apocalyptic scene from afar, speechless.
Boom!
With one final thunderous sound, the attack ended.
The gigantic dragon vanished into the clouds.
Everyone looked toward the land of the former Asdea Kingdom.
There, a bottomless abyss had appeared. Seawater poured into it nonstop.
"We can't stay here. Leave now. A whirlpool is about to form."
The warships began to accelerate.
Boom!
Before long, a massive whirlpool appeared on the sea. Slower ships were instantly dragged in, and the terrifying vortex kept moving.
"Is this… the end of the world?"
Morgans watched from the sky, frozen in shock.
