"So what are the rules?" I asked, genuinely curious now.
We all sat on the bed since there was no dining table in my small apartment. The mattress dipped slightly under our weight as Lily, Autumn, Tiffany, and I formed a loose circle, knees almost touching.
The room smelled like Chinese takeout, vodka, and the faint, lingering scent of our earlier shower fun.
"First, let's eat something," Lily said, reaching into one of the bags. She pulled out several steaming containers of Chinese food, fried rice, orange chicken, dumplings, noodles, and spread them across the bed between us like a casual picnic. We all grabbed paper plates and chopsticks, digging in.
