At the entrance of the capital city of Solaria, which rested proudly along the northern coast of the kingdom, an army numbering between three and four hundred soldiers stood in perfect formation beneath the blazing afternoon sun.
Every soldier held a rifle firmly against their chest, the polished metal gleaming beneath the sunlight, while their commander stood at the forefront of the formation with his back straight and his eyes fixed upon the vast sky overhead.
He had received direct orders from above and, like every soldier under his command, he intended to fulfill them without question.
Unfortunately for those standing below him, those orders had required them to remain in position since early morning.
