Many of the image data were captured by the Global Defense System, personally built by Tony Stark.
His existence was like a silver light, making it impossible to see his true form.
If it were just that, it would have been fine.
The Avengers might have only thought this silver light was some incomprehensible cosmic ray or a strange astronomical phenomenon.
But just as this silver light streaked across Earth, abnormal phenomena began to appear one after another across the Globe.
First, in Suruga Bay, Japan, over three thousand square kilometers of the ocean surface were directly frozen.
Then, this silver light traveled westward, and when it passed over Egypt, heavy snow fell directly in the desert areas around the pyramids.
When this silver light streaked across Los Angeles, California, the entire city experienced a complete power outage, leading to countless disasters.
The Federal Aviation Administration was forced to suspend all flights, stranding tens of thousands of travelers.
In the past, The Avengers might not have thought much of it.
But after repeated encounters with aliens, Earthlings had already become quite paranoid.
Not to mention, the existence of the Nine Realms, and the battle that once occurred in Asgard, which directly caused a sharp drop in Earth's temperature, were all still fresh in their minds.
After just a brief analysis, Tony Stark understood many of the intricacies involved.
"This incredibly fast-moving silver light should be able to devour energy. Or rather, this energy is the power source that supports his light-speed flight!"
"Jarvis, help me adjust the resolution of the photos. Let's see his true form!"
Jarvis: "Yes, sir!"
Under Jarvis's series of operations, the being enveloped in the silver light slowly revealed his true face.
Upon seeing his true face, Natasha and Tony were both greatly surprised.
Thinking about it was one thing; seeing it with their own eyes was another.
Were aliens visiting Earth again?!
To be honest, the true form of this being completely exceeded their expectations.
From his physical appearance, he looked very similar to an Earthling.
But his body was silvery-white, encased in a silver plating similar to mercury, with no biological features like eyeballs, teeth, or hair visible.
What surprised them most was that the object supporting this being's extreme speed flight was actually a surfboard!
It's no exaggeration to say that this completely challenged the limits of their imagination!
To modify a surfboard to meet the needs of interstellar travel, it's truly hard to imagine what kind of technology this must be!
Tony and Natasha both became unprecedentedly solemn.
Jarvis: "Sir, I detect a large amount of an unknown energy form on his body. He and the surfboard are one, and wherever he passes, he devours the surrounding energy."
As Jarvis narrated, the two increasingly felt how troublesome this guy on the surfboard was.
Half an hour later.
Avengers Tower.
The Avengers gathered together again.
When Tony Stark told them the news he had obtained, everyone became tense.
And Thor even stood up from his chair in shock!
Thor swallowed hard and said nervously, "I know this guy. His name is Silver Surfer, and he is one of Galactus's four Heralds!"
A guy who can travel through the Universe on a surfboard, and he's a Herald of someone called "Galactus"?
And he's one of four?
Galactus wouldn't really be able to devour Planets, would he?!
"You all wait for me a moment; I need to go back to Asgard to retrieve some information!"
Without waiting for The Avengers to react, Thor ran directly out of the Tower, and after a rainbow light, Thor disappeared from Earth.
The Avengers exchanged glances; this was the first time they had seen Thor so nervous.
Thor's strength was evident to all, especially after he became the King of Asgard, his power had reached an even higher level.
Even Asgard is so nervous, then Earth...
The Avengers' hearts couldn't help but tighten, even feeling exhausted!
Ever since the Chitauri attacked New York, Earth seemed to have opened Pandora's Box, with one hardship after another.
They truly didn't know how long Earth could endure these endless invasions!
Thor didn't make them wait long; over ten minutes later, Thor returned to Earth.
In his hand, he held an ancient Asgardian scroll.
Unlike Earth's scrolls, this Asgardian scroll was animated and could even automatically display its recorded content.
As the scroll slowly unrolled, The Avengers finally gained a general understanding of Galactus and Silver Surfer.
This scroll primarily recorded a major battle between Galactus and the Skrull Empire.
The Skrull Empire, Kree Empire, and Shi'ar Empire were known as the three great empires of the Universe.
But the arrival of Galactus directly devoured the Skrull Empire's homeworld, causing the complete annihilation of the Skrull Empire's royal family, and the entire empire was torn apart by constant internal strife.
Although a lean camel is still bigger than a horse, the Skrull Empire was getting worse year by year."
Coupled with the relentless pursuit of their old enemy, the Kree Empire, their territory was almost entirely encroached upon.
The Skrull were in dire straits, and countless Skrull were even forced to abandon their homes and hide everywhere.
The interstellar war depicted in the scroll made The Avengers truly feel the power and brutality of Galactus.
The Skrull Empire, one of the three great empires of the Universe, had a technological level that was light-years ahead of Earth.
Just by looking at the scroll, The Avengers could feel the immense power of the Planet Destroyer Cannons on their homeworld.
Although Galactus was heavily wounded by the Planet Destroyer Cannons, he ultimately devoured the Skrull Empire's homeworld.
This battle almost wiped out the entire upper echelon of the Skrull Empire!
Hearing about Galactus's formidable achievements, all The Avengers couldn't help but gasp.
This enemy was truly too powerful!
Thor said with a solemn expression, "When my father was still on the throne, he regarded Galactus as his strongest opponent. He even had the mental preparation to perish together with Galactus!"
Even Odin, the All-Father, had the mental preparation for a fight to the death against Galactus. The Avengers' hearts became even heavier!
"Just as described in the scroll, after the battle with the Skrull Empire, Galactus also changed his approach. To reduce losses and increase the success rate of devouring Planets, Galactus recruited a large number of Heralds!"
"Among them, four are most famous: Stardust, Silver Surfer, Fire Lord, and Tyrant."
"Among them, Tyrant possessed immense strength; Fire Lord, as his name suggests, manipulated fire with divine mastery."
"Silver Surfer, the one who appeared on Earth, is incredibly fast and can achieve virtual-to-real transformation, penetrating solid space."
"And Stardust is the most powerful. Her body is entirely composed of cosmic particles and energy, making her almost indestructible. She can even survive being caught in Planet explosions and black holes."
Hearing Thor's explanation, The Avengers didn't know how to react!
This enemy was simply too powerful. Could they truly defeat him?
Thor said with a solemn expression, "Galactus consumes Planets by relying on the Heralds' positioning. If we can eliminate Silver Surfer, perhaps we can stop Galactus's arrival at the source!"
After hearing so much, this was perhaps the only slightly better news.
Eliminate the Planet Eater Herald, Silver Surfer!
They had to do it no matter what!
