Avengers Tower.
Laboratory.
Tony was showing Rimuru a massive simulated space battle, with Earth and an unknown extraterrestrial civilization as the warring parties.
Seeing the vast simulated war, Rimuru's eyes continuously flickered with the light of wisdom.
The system Tony demonstrated immediately reminded Rimuru of the one in "Spider-Man: Far From Home."
If they were to encounter an army like the Chitauri again, Tony's Global Defense System, with hundreds of thousands of armed drones, would teach them a lesson in minutes.
Tony truly lives up to his reputation as one of the most intelligent people in the Marvel Universe; he is incredibly skilled at learning from experience.
Almost every battle, whether successful or not, becomes intellectual nourishment for his counterattacks and offensives.
Even if Rimuru were given the same resources, she might not be able to do better than Tony.
It's no exaggeration to say that Tony's "Global Defense System" is an ultra-level manifestation of Earth's current highest technological capabilities.
It's at least thirty years ahead of the technology mastered by other countries around the World.
Tony has pushed his capabilities to the extreme!
But Tony was still extremely dissatisfied; his eyes were filled with anxiety.
"It's not enough, far from enough. Currently, Earth can't even achieve basic interstellar travel. If we encounter other extraterrestrial civilizations again, my defense system might be instantly destroyed."
Feeling the abnormality in Tony, Rimuru immediately recalled Tony's anxiety in "Iron Man 3."
Iron Man is a hero, a mortal who stands shoulder to shoulder with gods.
But he is still a mortal!
Facing the threat of aliens, he is no better off than ordinary people.
He also experiences anxiety, panic, and fear!
And as a hero, his awareness even makes him endure countless times more pressure than ordinary people.
Rimuru couldn't help but sigh and comforted him, "Tony, calm down. You're pushing yourself too hard. Technology is a cumulative process; no matter how much pressure you put on yourself, it won't help!"
Any genius is a genius of their time.
Just like Howard, in his era, he couldn't build an Arc Reactor, let alone an Iron Man Suit!
With Earth's technological level as it is, no matter how smart Tony is, he can't create a spaceship out of nothing.
"I know!"
"I know!"
Tony took several deep breaths, and his emotions slowly calmed down.
"Sorry, I got too emotional. Whenever I think of the scene of Global nuclear bombs flying everywhere, I just can't control myself!"
Hearing Tony's words, Rimuru couldn't help but shake her head.
It seems this is again due to her, this little butterfly!
In the original timeline, during the Battle of New York, Tony only carried a nuclear bomb into space.
After witnessing the Chitauri fleet firsthand, he suffered from anxiety.
However, in this timeline, due to Proxima Midnight's actions, the entire World was almost completely destroyed by nuclear bombs.
Tony's anxiety is many times more severe than in the original timeline.
Words are pale; a heart ailment requires a heart medicine, and a mental demon can only be overcome by Tony himself.
Rimuru thought for a moment and said, "Tony, Earth is one of the Nine Realms. The Avengers, Thor, and I will all do our best to protect Earth. Perhaps you can rely more on your companions!"
"Rely on companions?"
Tony's eyes flickered with light, but then he shook his head.
How could he not know that he had many companions he could trust and rely on?
But Tony preferred to trust himself and become a reliable support for his companions.
He is actually very afraid now, afraid that because he is not strong enough, the entire Earth will slide into an irreversible abyss.
Moreover, the Avengers' companions might have just as many troubles as him.
Captain America recently discovered that his female neighbor, who lived next door and whom he liked, was an Agent.
This really bothered Captain America!
Then there's his former comrade, Bucky; Captain America is always incredibly worried about his safety and whereabouts.
And also, Captain America's confidante, Agent Carter, is nearing the end of her life.
"Owing Carter a dance" has already become Captain America's biggest regret in life!
Tony has seen Captain America looking wistfully in the direction of the hospital more than once!
As for Hawkeye, there's not much more to say.
Rimuru already knows that he hasn't yet recovered from the guilt of being controlled by Loki.
He desperately wants to prove himself!
And the more this is the case, the more Tony worries that something will happen to him.
And Natasha, with S.H.I.E.L.D. disbanded, Natasha is now homeless, and her heart is adrift.
Seeing Tony's appearance, Rimuru couldn't help but shake her head and said, "I have a few spaceships here, both damaged and intact. Do you want them?"
"What? Spaceships?"
In an instant, Tony's eyes became incredibly bright, like two large light bulbs, dazzlingly bright.
Rimuru didn't keep him in suspense and immediately explained the origin of the spaceships.
Hearing Rimuru's words, Tony's spirits lifted immensely.
Even his anxiety seemed to be cured without medicine!
Seeing Tony's "miraculous recovery from a near-death illness," Rimuru felt a little speechless.
But she also admired him somewhat; in Tony, she perfectly witnessed what it means to be "obsessed or nothing."
"The spaceships aren't free; you'll have to trade resources for them. You know the situation in Jotunheim; it's lacking in all kinds of resources!"
"Trade, trade, at all costs!"
Alright, hearing Tony's words, Rimuru even felt a little reluctant to overcharge him.
Forget it, I'll just give him a fair price, ten times the markup!
Avengers Tower, a secret warehouse.
When Tony saw the spaceships Rimuru produced, his eyes could no longer hold anything else.
A spaceship, there's so much to study, so much!
Seeing Tony absorbed in disassembling the ship, Rimuru didn't bother to deal with him anymore and immediately walked out of the warehouse; she planned to go out and play some more.
However, not long after Rimuru stepped out of the warehouse, a U.S. diplomat approached her, expressing the United States' desire for a high-level meeting.
Rimuru didn't think much of it and simply nodded in agreement.
As the King of Jotunheim, these things were unavoidable.
Jotunheim is short on resources, and if they want to avoid resorting to robbery, then mutual exchange with Earth is very necessary.
Upon receiving Rimuru's affirmative answer, the entire U.S. high command was quickly stirred.
Not only the United States, but major countries around the World also took action immediately.
A meeting of unprecedented scale, immense momentum, and one that would impact the entire course of Earth's history, thus began.
Meanwhile, in a large hospital in New York, Jane Foster was stunned by the sudden bad news.
Seeing the test report in her hand, she almost fainted!
Cancer, at such a young age, she actually had cancer!
