The broken moon hung in space like a shattered mirror, its three jagged pieces slowly spinning. Light from Earth reflected off the cracks, turning the void into a strange, ghostly glow. Dust clouds drifted between the fragments, catching starlight in slow-motion swirls.
Jinwoo stood on the largest chunk. His shredded coat flapped in the vacuum—somehow still moving, as if his shadow power refused to obey normal rules. Blood floated around his face in tiny red orbs. His breathing was steady now. The pain was there, but it only made his red eyes burn hotter.
Beru hovered to his right, wings torn but already knitting back together. Igris stood to his left, cracked sword reformed, crimson cape billowing like liquid blood. Bellion floated behind them—massive, silent, twin blades crossed over his chest.
Goku floated opposite them, arms still crossed. His new form—Super Saiyan Blue—made the darkness around him look pale. Blue aura wrapped his body like living ocean water. His hair stood tall and bright blue, glowing with white sparks. His eyes were calm, almost gentle, but the power rolling off him made the moon fragments tremble.
Jinwoo raised his hand. "Domain of the Dead... maximum output."
The darkness deepened. The stars dimmed until only faint pinpricks remained. Shadows poured from the cracks in the moon pieces—thicker, blacker, hungrier. They twisted into ropes, spears, claws. The broken moon began pulling itself back together, chunks drifting closer as if glued by invisible threads.
Jinwoo's voice echoed through the void. "In this domain, death has no meaning. My shadows are endless. My power is absolute. You can't erase what I can remake forever."
Goku uncrossed his arms. "Then let's see how endless they really are."
He moved.
Not fast. Not a blur. Just... there.
One moment he was still. The next he stood in front of Jinwoo.
A single punch—perfect, no wasted force—slammed into Jinwoo's stomach.
The impact rang like a bell made of thunder. Jinwoo's body folded. Air exploded outward even in vacuum, creating a visible shockwave of blue light. Jinwoo flew back, crashing through one of the smaller moon fragments. Rock exploded into dust. The piece shattered further into hundreds of smaller chunks.
Beru roared and charged. His claws extended—longer, sharper, glowing purple. He slashed at Goku's back.
Goku didn't turn. His body leaned aside on instinct. The claws missed by a hair. Goku spun, grabbed Beru's wing, and threw him like a rag doll. Beru spun through space, slamming into Igris. Both shadows tumbled together, crashing against Bellion's chest.
Bellion caught them. He didn't flinch. He simply stepped forward, wings spreading wide. His twin swords burned with black fire. He swung them in a massive X.
Goku met the blades with open palms.
The clash lit up the void—blue against black. Sparks flew like falling stars. The force pushed both of them back. Moon dust swirled in violent spirals around them.
Jinwoo rose from the rubble of the shattered fragment. His body healed again—faster this time. Shadows wrapped his wounds like bandages. He clenched his fists. "Enough games."
He vanished into darkness.
He reappeared behind Goku.
A black dagger formed in his hand—longer, cursed, dripping shadow. He stabbed straight for Goku's heart.
Goku's Ultra Instinct flickered. His body twisted without thought. The dagger grazed his side—drawing a thin line of blood. Goku spun and elbowed Jinwoo in the ribs. Bones cracked. Jinwoo grunted and flew sideways.
But Jinwoo didn't stop. He used the momentum to summon more.
"Arise!"
Hundreds of shadow dragons burst from the moon cracks—each one bigger than the last. They roared, mouths open, black flames roaring toward Goku.
Goku crossed his arms. "Ka... me... ha... me... HA!"
A massive blue beam erupted from his hands. It swallowed the dragons whole. Black fire met blue ki. The collision bloomed into a sphere of light so bright it outshone the sun for a moment. The beam kept going—punching through the reforming moon pieces, scattering them again.
When the light faded, the moon was in even more pieces—now dozens of floating rocks.
Jinwoo floated amid the chaos. His coat was gone completely. His body was bare except for swirling shadows that covered him like a second skin. Blood dripped from his mouth, but he smiled—small, dangerous.
"You're strong," Jinwoo said. "Stronger than any Monarch I've faced. But I don't lose."
Goku hovered closer. "I don't want you to lose. I want you to keep getting better."
Jinwoo laughed—short and sharp. "Then watch this."
He spread his arms wide.
"Monarch's Wrath!"
The domain shifted again.
The darkness became solid. It formed a throne behind Jinwoo—massive, made of writhing shadows and broken moon rock. He sat on it. His eyes turned pure black with red pupils. Power poured out of him in waves—cold, endless, suffocating.
His three generals grew larger. Beru became a towering insect beast. Igris's armor glowed crimson. Bellion's wings spread until they blocked entire sections of space.
Jinwoo stood from the throne. "This is my full power. No more holding back. No more mercy."
Goku's blue aura flared brighter. "Good. Show me everything you've got."
They charged.
The fight became a dance of destruction.
Jinwoo threw shadow spears—each one fast enough to pierce planets. Goku dodged them all, countering with precise ki blasts that erased dozens of shadows at once.
Beru dove in with claws like scythes. Goku caught his arms and headbutted him so hard Beru's exoskeleton cracked.
Igris swung his sword in endless arcs. Goku parried with forearms, then kicked the knight through a moon fragment.
Bellion brought both swords down in a crushing blow. Goku blocked with crossed arms—the impact sent shockwaves that shattered more lunar debris.
Jinwoo appeared above Goku. He slammed both fists down—wrapped in black-purple energy.
Goku met the blow head-on.
Their fists collided.
Space rippled.
A massive shockwave exploded outward—pushing the moon pieces farther apart, sending dust clouds racing toward Earth like a storm.
Both warriors flew back.
Jinwoo crashed against his shadow throne. It cracked but held.
Goku tumbled through space, flipping once before stopping. A thin trail of blood floated from his lip.
They stared at each other again.
Jinwoo panted. "You... still haven't used your strongest form."
Goku wiped the blood away. "I don't need it yet. You're giving me a great fight. That's enough for now."
Jinwoo's eyes narrowed. "Then I'll force it out of you."
He raised his hand. The domain tightened—shadows closing in like a fist.
Goku took a deep breath. His blue aura steadied. "Okay. Let's keep going."
They rushed forward once more.
Fists met fists.
Ki met shadow.
The broken moon spun around them like a deadly carousel.
Earth watched from below—people staring at the sky in fear and wonder as flashes of blue and black lit up the night.
The two kings fought on.
No surrender.
No end in sight.
Only the pure joy of battle—and the promise that one of them would eventually fall.
