Xie Fang stepped into the river and washed himself clean. His clothes were already filthy; covered in blood and unknown fluid, so he threw them away and temporarily made himself a skirt out of large leaves.
After putting it on, he went to collect the dinosaur meat scattered all over the place. He picked the biggest piece and began separating the meat from the skin.
To loosen the remaining flesh, he placed the hide into the river, pressing it down with a heavy stone to keep it from floating away.
While it soaked, Xie Fang cut the meat into thin slices and neatly laid them on a clean leaf.
To start a fire, he gathered dry branches and leaves from nearby. Once everything was ready, he flicked his fingers—lightning crackled between them.
With a slight movement, he directed it toward the dry branches.

The dry branches caught fire instantly. Xie Fang nodded in satisfaction and placed the sliced meat over the fire.
