She turned and stood with her arms crossed looking away from him, so did you have fun with Maddie or what?, you know what I don't care, goodnight she turned and ran into her room before he could answer, leaving him perplexed, Penelope was acting weirder than usual, maybe it was due to the shock of what the twins did, he concluded as he stretched yawning and strolled into his room. Patty and Maddie huh, Penny leaned over the railing watching him from above, her eyes sad as she sighed loudly.
The whole day at work was unbearable for Penny, it was as if the roles were switched. Maddie frequented Patty's office giggling and blushing on her way out, singing his praises, and just plain sticking by him the whole day, like he was hers. All this was weird to Penny, it was only okay when she did it, who the fuck did Maddie think she was.
I guess the dark cloud is gone now the days done, Rose smiled, you had like a permanent frown all through the day, I'm sure even the patients were scared, Rose explained after Penny gave her a confused look. Her smile dropped at the mention of Maddie's name, it's not that she didn't like Maddie, or she didn't want Patrick to date, in fact she didn't even know why the thought of them together put her in a bad mood, why did it feel like Patrick was being taken from her, why did it suddenly feel like there was a knot in her heart whenever she heard their names next to each other.
Wait let's go together, I'm not going home, Penny rushed out leaving Rose behind. Surely she was going to regret what she was about to do next, but her head was so clouded she couldn't think straight.
Penny breathing unsteadily slowly rang the doorbell in front of her. Penny?, Jackson gasped in disbelief as he opened the door, come in. He leaned in and kisses her softly, Penny's eyes widened a little in shock she didn't pull back, nor did she sink into the kiss she just sat awkwardly with her eyes open as he kissed her. Seriously, Jackson hissed as the doorbell rang once again, go quickly it may be your parents, she waited at the table, her eyes widened once more as Patrick strolled in clearly not pleased at seeing her there. Let's go, he grabbed her, she followed without protest as Jackson just watched them confused.
Get back here, Patrick roared at Penny who ran towards the stairs as soon they got home. What, she yelled breathing heavily, can't I stay out with my boyfriend too, you're always hanging with Maddie so it shouldn't mean shit to you, but Penny you remember what he did to you right, he tried to stay calm. Look I don't have a problem with you having a boyfriend, he lied through his teeth, but it can't be that snake, I won't let it happen, you know how much I care about you right, I don't want you getting hurt again.
So can you just calm down and think about it, he strolled to Penny who had her arms crossed huffing and puffing, pushing stray hairs behind her ear.
Penny felt hot, but apart from the anger boiling within her at the moment, there was something else making her hot, it seemed she had found the source of the confusion and discomfort she had felt these past few days.
She uncrossed her arms looking up at Patrick who now had his hand on her hot flushed cheek, through the tears in her eyes she could barely see that sincere look of worry he tended to have.

He let go of her face turning to leave, turning back unexpectedly as Penny held his hand and stopped him from leaving. Patty, I don't think I can get over him alone, anything that went wrong with me, you were always there to help me, even when I was abroad you always tried your best to be there for me, I think my mistake was thinking I could overcome this without you. Penny I've been here for you, and I'll continue to help you, then do you promise to help me this time too, she sniffled holding his hand tightly, yes anything for you, he reassured his eyes softening at how vulnerable she was being.
You can't go back on your word now Patty, she tiptoed and pecked his cheeks, forehead, chin, and then pulled back. Patrick wjo was holding his breath in hopes of feeling Penelope's soft lips against his own breathed out quietly disgusted by himself. His feet freezing to the floor as Penny kissed him on the lips, but this time it wasn't her usual peck, she kissed him passionately and slowly he didn't even know when he opened his mouth and kissed her back. Penny pulled back to catch her breath realizing what she just did, sor…. he cut her off pulling her in by the waist at kissing her furiously, his wet hot tongue slipping into her mouth, making her squirm as he explored her mouth biting and teasing her savoring the moment.
