Chapter 162 - . Devilish Angle Awakening

162. Devilish Angel Awakening

The scream tore something inside her.

Not her ears.

Her soul.

Marcelline's head snapped up violently despite the chains biting into her wrists. Her vision blurred, blood dripping into her eyes—yet she saw it.

Sister Florence.

Her mother.

Suspended across the battlefield, bound by divine restraints, her body trembling under relentless torture. Blood ran freely down her arms. Her lips were pale. Her breathing shallow.

Still—still—she tried to lift her head.

Still—still—she tried to smile.

For Marcelline.

Something shattered.

Not metaphorically.

Existentially.

A soundless crack echoed through her being, as if the universe itself had split open to make room for what was about to rise.

Her heart stopped.

Then exploded.

The chains rattled violently.

Marcelline's eyes snapped wide open—

And ignited.

First—

Blue.

A piercing, celestial blue flooded her pupils, sharp and endless like the open sky. The air screamed as angelic power erupted outward, pure and merciless. Divine symbols burned into existence around her, spinning violently.

Angels staggered.

Divine elders gasped, choking as pressure crushed their lungs.

Then—

The blue burned.

Melted.

Turned into gold.

Not radiant.

Not holy.

But infernal.

Golden fire roared from her eyes, demonic sigils clawing their way into the air like living things. Heat scorched the battlefield. Demons fell back in terror, some screaming, some bleeding from their eyes.

The ground beneath her cage began to melt.

And then—

Silence.

Absolute.

Terrifying.

Her eyes shifted one final time.

The gold and blue collapsed inward—

Condensing—

Refining—

Until her gaze became pure bluish-silver light.

Cold.

Endless.

Unjudging.

The kind of light that does not ask permission.

The aura detonated.

Every divine elder—

Every demon lord—

Every soldier, executioner, and observer—

Dropped to their knees.

Weapons shattered.

Armor cracked.

Minds collapsed.

The pressure was unbearable—not physical, but existential. Their instincts screamed one command over and over:

Kneel.

Worship.

Survive.

Cold sweat poured down Godmother's spine.

Her breath stuttered.

This—this was not angel.

Not demon.

Not hybrid.

This was something older.

Something that should not exist.

Even the Demon King trembled, nails digging into the earth as an uncontrollable urge crushed his pride—his body bowing against his will.

In the distance—

Amara fell to her knees.

Alpha and Paradus slammed down beside her, their beast instincts screaming submission, terror, awe.

None of them understood why.

Only that resisting meant annihilation.

Chains around Marcelline's body screamed.

Then—

They exploded.

Iron, seals, divine runes—shattered into millions of fragments, vaporized midair like dust before a star.

Marcelline rose.

Slowly.

Effortlessly.

Blood lifted from her skin, evaporating into crimson mist. Her body hovered high above the battlefield, silver-blue eyes glowing like twin moons.

She looked down at them.

And for the first time—

She wanted them dead.

Every single one.

For laying a hand on her family.

For touching even a strand of hair on her mother's head.

For daring to hurt Amara.

For daring to chain her brothers.

Her voice descended like a death sentence.

Low.

Calm.

Utterly lethal.

"How—"

The land cracked.

Mountains groaned.

Clouds spiraled violently overhead, thunder screaming as lightning tore the sky apart.

Her voice continued, layered with something ancient:

"—dare you…"

The ground split open beneath the divine elders.

Demon lords screamed as blood leaked from their ears.

"…touch—"

A thunderclap exploded, deafening.

"…my family."

The battlefield bowed.

The sky wept lightning.

Even reality recoiled.

Below her, Sister Florence lay unconscious, blood pooling beneath her fragile body.

Marcelline's gaze softened for half a heartbeat—

Then hardened into something merciless.

And in that moment—

Every clan understood.

This was not a hunt.

This was not a mistake.

This was Judgment awakening.
