As the procession made their way through the archway leading into the main residence, Noah leaned down, his arm tight around Gianna's waist.
"I'm so sorry about the outdoor setup, my love," He murmured against her hair, his tone rich with remorse. "Grandfather was so eager to showcase our union to the press that he insisted on the garden arrangements. I didn't realize the chill would get to Mr. Thorne."
Gianna looked up at him, her eyes soft, her smile gentle. "Noah, please, it's completely okay. It's not like it was a public free-for-all—it was handled with absolute class. I'm just glad we're inside where he can be comfortable."
Inwardly though, Gianna was damn too happy.
