As they all sat down waiting for the opening to escape the landfill of
Monsters that were waiting on the surface seris took a peice of cloth from her cloak and ripped it turning it into a blindfold and put it on meditating
Quietly as her hands began to Emmitt green aura from her hands
"What is she doing" noah asked pointing his finger towards her
And ash shrugged.
"She focusing her energy into her hands I think?" Aurelia said
As seris spawned a staff and stood up and slammed it to the floor
As her vines became white and white Aura blinded them
Seris hands became white wind blowing everyone's hair as she fell To her knees "I saw it" she said "you saw what?" Ash said.
"The tree i-i-it spoke to me" serin nonsensical choice of words made the group worry more "the grime tree of pathways and divinity" she said "buts it's corrupted and needs help to go back to its pathways" she continued on "the blindfold helps me see things that I couldn't see before" she leaned against the green bark
She panted.
"You seem, so out of breath" noah said "w-well" seris spawned a bottle of water and drank it before accidentally dropping it on the ground "my curse is the more of my powers I use the more senses I lose" she said calmly ash and noah but looked at her with shocked expressions "Then why do you keep using it!!"
Noah said "I've come to peace with my curse, that's why" as a single tear fell from behind her blindfold.
"No way you let her do all this and you knew right?!!" Noah demanded an answer for Aurelia "I've tried to stop her" she said calmly "she's already made peace with the decision she made" she finished noah face turned pale "THERES NO USE USING A POWER THAT REQUIRES YOU TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND FEELIF YOU CANT DO ANY OF THOSE!!!" Noah said enraged before climbing up to higher point of the tree.
Ash looked at him go before looking at Aurelia then he sighed and titled his head down to catch a glimpse of the ground "guys we need to help this tree before we go" ash said "how do we help it?" Aurelia asked "w-we kill the monsters infecting it" seris said out if breath spawning a ladder for them.
"I-im ready" seris said standing up slowly up clutching something and noah jumped down using his sonic blast to decrease to his fall and when the others came down
Seris sent a wave of poison towards the monsters as ash noah Aurelia ran in Aurelia slashed The monsters caves putting them on they're knees.
Ash came in and cut the monsters arm off and noah screamed sending the monster flying back as Aurelia jumped and ran to the side of the monster "since the posion weakened you..." she said before slicing its head off
"It's game over" her eyes became moon shaped.
Then seris spawned a chain and handed it to ash and noah "even if your mad we need to do this together" ash told noah and he nodded as the they both wrapped the rope around one of the monsters head "Thank you for that posion seris"
Ash thought to himself as they pulled the chain down choking out the monster with all they're strength.
"We need to destroy as many as we can so the tree will be able to defend its self"
Seris yelled out sending a another wave of posion towards the last two monsters
"LETS DO THIS!!!!!' Noah yelled out a sonic blast coming from his mouth
Way bigger then before.
As the monster fell to its knees it's roar inaudible due to the sonic blast
As Aurelia Ran in same for ash holding out they're blades and ash hit it on its neck cutting it as Aurelia spun around cutting deep through it's neck bringing The monster down now 1 more to go
"what posion are you using and why didn't we do this befor" ash asked
"The tree granted me a posion that should work against these guys thats why was holding something" she yelled out to them.
As the finally monster approached it was the smiling the monster "Oh no...."
They all thought collectively as it approached them every footstep louder then the other with a grin so wide even if you couldn't see it you could tell it wasn't human ash and Aurelia clutched they're swords getting ready for battle.
It stood they're waiting for them and noah sent blast it's way but it walked it off
And walked towards them again "how did it just walk that off!" Noah said
Then it grabbed a rock from the floor and tossed at them Making them duck
Then it was right In front of them.
It didn't growl it didn't roar it just looked at them with the evil grin before walking away "why did it?..." Ash thought but he had no time to collect his thoughts because the tree started lighting up sending a beam up to the sky so bright if you were on different continent you could still see it as they covered they're eyes
The tree grew bigger.
"T-too bright" noah said as the beam from tree started calming down and the green on the tree became more radiant they slowly opened they're eyes
And gazed upon The tree it looked more healthy then it did before.
Before it was worn out and a dark green now it's a lighter green and it's branches were worn its anymore "this looks so beautiful" Aurelia said putting her sword back in its sheath as they slowly walked towards the tree.
"The tree says thank you" seris said with a smile on her face "I'm sure it does"
Noah said softly mesmerized by its look as they turned away and saw one of the reinforced walls opening and roots grabbed onto it keeping it opened
"Is that the tree doing that" ash said "well no time to waste" Aurelia said walking towards the opened walls.
As the others waved bye to the tree.
But it only gets worse from here.
