As they looked at the statue as it rose then a door appeared
As someone walked out a bald guy wearing a brownish yellowish robe with a eclipse symbol on his head "come in quick" the guy said they walked in and he immediately closed the door he looked panicked "was Aegis there"
They all froze "how do you know about Aegis?" Ash asked "He destroyed my entire village he wanst even there his monsters alone did and he wiped OUT MY ENTIRE COUNTRY so the rest of my village had to hide and this is were we've been staying" the guy said.
They were stunned "country?" Seris said "yes i-it was massacre sirens went off but it was to late" then he walked while speaking "he's better known as a myth the black knight who wants at the temple" the guy said keeping his hands in his robe "yeah the black night we faced him but we had to run" Aurelia said
"You saved him and lived!!" His eyes widen at the what he was hearing.
"Then there was a reason he kept you alive" the guy said then ash seris and Aurelia saw all the other traumatized people that dealt with what Aegis did "but don't call him the black knight here if you do it brings you curse" the guy whispered "but you did" seris said "I know because I'm willing to take the chance for my people.
He said admiring the moon and sun Cresent "the legends say Aegis is far more powerful and he's been around for ages upon ages and some people say he's the reason the selections are a thing and no one has ever seen his face"
He said sitting do crisscross apple sause and mediated trying to keep the bad spirits away.
"Sir is there anything thing about Aegis we should know" Aurelia said
"Well if you want to know, if you survived a direct in counter with him then your destined for death" He said in a serious tone not a single hint of playfulness was in those words.
As ash stepped back "he can't be that tough" he said confidently with a hint of nervousness "Oh you think, then why isn't he dead" the guy said giving him a look "well-uhm -uhm" He stammered "exactly my point"
The guy said as the eclipse rose "we worship this eclipse every month to keep away his monsters and evil spirits" He said bowing.
"NOW enough of Aegis let's talk shall we" the guy said as he made them some herbal tea and set it done on the table "drink up, long night ahead of us"
The guy said sitting down and drinking his tea slowly.
As his eyes glowed yellow and ash eyed became yellow as he felt like he got transported to a different world it was the void again "I'm here again?"
He said "your going to fight against your inner demons" his consciousness said.
Then he faced his inner demon it was four legged monsters sith red eyes and grey skin and horns going down it's back and in the middle of all the monsters
It was himself he was his inner demons.
As his inner demons rushed at him he dodged one punched another one Then he kicked another one Then he ducked and grabbed ones feet's and pulled the monster making it trip then he jumped on it and kicked it in the face "the other three slumped over slow attacks eyes then stomach then face" He thought to himself then he dodged one of its attacks.
Then he punched it's eyes then it's stomached then it's face sending it flying
Then he tried to use his powers but he couldn't so he superman punched one of the other monster but then his inner demon version of himself
Which was named Sha the opposite of his name.
Then they both kicked eachothers leg so he blocked Sha's punched
Meanwhile Aurelia and seris both was struggling against themselves
And Sha tried to kick ash but he blocked and tried to counter but his inner demon version kicked him then punched him twice and then kicked him in the face.
Ash tried to stand but he was kicked then he blocked the kicked then he grabbed
Sha's leg and pulled it and made him fall over as he stood over him
Blacked out like a phantom his eyes completely white "your a copy of me, a cheap imitation,your the version of Me that died on that shrine" He said then stomped sha's head off.
Waking up gasping for air as he saw Aurelia drinking tea "hello"
She said as seris waved at him happily, smiling
Then she drank some tea as well then he sat up holding his back "what was that?" He asked the guy.
"You cleansed yourself" He said drinking some more tea "cleansed myself?"
Ash raised an eyebrow "yes cleansed yourself, your past anything thought brought you shame" the guy said then he stood up "the eclipse is the only night we can cleanse our body's" He said looking up at the eclipse "well I better be off to bed now goodnight" He said bowing before leaving.
As they all sat with weird feelings in they're stomach
"Ok now what we don't have any beds" ash said "sleep on the floor"
Aurelia said laying down and going to sleep instantly
As seris layed down putting a bed under her and going to sleep.
"No fair that magic can be used for all Type of things" ash thought before laying on the floor wondering what the following day would be like hoping it wouldn't be as hard as the past as he thought about all the battles he fought and all his losses and wins in his time as a selection player.
Which was crazy when he thought about because he's grown alot
As lumina warmed up his body's with her light and he finally went to sleep.
