The hours the followed was an unsettling quietness
Followed by soft hums of the man in armor and
The groans of the soft spoken and scar eyed men
And ashes silence spoke louder then his words
The man in armor looked at him with a calculated
Expression.
"So you happy you lived" the man tried to make a short conversation.
Ash just nodded and kept walking until night fall when they made a campfire
And set some logs down as the other two finally woke up
They heads felt like they were hit by trucks.
"What happened?" The scar eyed man asked
Then he saw the armored man and was about to freak
"Hello sir" the man armor said then he smiled at him
The armored man's kind smile
Made the scar eyed man laugh.
"First time someone has been nice to me" He said
The soft spoken man looked at the armored man
Then ash looked at him too "whats your name?"
Ask asked the armored man.
"I'm eren an awakened with a blessing"
He said then he bowed.
Eren looked ash "whats your name?" He said folding his hands in his lap
"Asher" ash replied "well nice to be acquainted"
Then ash drank some of his water before stopping to wipe his mouth.
"So how did you survive the selection?" Ash asked eren
"Well someone helped me and a lot of people died because of that"
He replied with a half answer "I can't escape the guilt off what he did to help me but now I have the power to help others" eren finished.
Then eren grabbed his sword and kept next to him "yall can sleep ill keep gaurd"
Eren said then everyone went to sleep but ash and eren "you know you don't have to stay up no one will hurt us" eren assured ash but he didn't care he still stayed up.
The sun rose as the two woke up while eren and ash were already ready
Then ash looked at the two the back at his hands and he forgot he freed himself
From the cuffs but kept the keys hidden from the others.
As the group walked through the snow ash looked at eren "this guy is the exactly like the female scientist he's definitely a looker for the women"
He said then looked back to the trail.
"So where are we going?" The soft spoken man said breaking the silence
Until they heard a trees falling at a rapid rate. A monster with all red fur
And blacked out eyes horns and took the shape of a huge dog rushed them
At an unbelievable pace.
They all jumped out the way as it tried to rail them "Dang it! that's a brute!"
Eren said "and it has friends" ash told him as more appeared
And then eren got in his stance ready to fight "you guys get out of here!"
As the brutes charged him. As he fought gracious and swift.
The ash and the other two ran behind a tree as ash analyzed "Ok fallen trees one awakened fighting 5 brutes" one of the monsters came ran behind the tree
Then more soldiers came not awakened though but they drove a carriage
And carried cannons.
Then the monsters sliced all the soldiers as the shot the cannons doing rarely anything ash snuck over to one of of the cannons but it had no gun powder
Or cannon. Then he saw it in the back but one of the monsters caught sent flying
Back.
Then the monster fell on the cannon and the gun powder "why me"
Ash face-palmed as the brute shot fire out it's mouth burning the forest
"GET DOWN!!" Eren yelled as ash and the other got down ducking the fire
As eren cut one down but the kept coming "trait shallow floor" eren said
One of the monsters sinking the floor like drowing in water.
"Is his blessing water? Or something"
Ash rubbed his temple as the monsters jumping and falling and Clawing and roaring was heard beyond the log they were behind
As ash started feeling a weird sensation on the rock
It was a burning feel on his back then he and the others realized the log was burning.
Then all three of them backed up as the flames grew bigger and bigger so they ran and ash ran to carriage And got behind it watching eren fight looking for an opening and in the same moment he saw one cannon ball and a little bit of un power yet he knew he wouldn't be able to lift the cannon ball.
Now he needed a plan "you two distract the monsters!!!, eren help me get this cannon!!!" Then the two men distracted the monsters
As eren ran and picked up the cannon ball and stuffed it in the machine.
As ash grabbed the gun powder and they put it all in the machine
"We need fire!" Ash said looking for a lighter or anything that could start heat then he looked at the burning branches so he looks at erem "push!!"
And they slowly pushed the cannon closer to the burning tree.
Until it finally caught fire and he waited for the right moment to fire
Then once he saw the two men appeared he knew one if the monsters would appeared and one did and he prepared his shot and the kept dancing around to it went off the two men ran to them "CAN YOU GUYS HURRY!!"
The scar eyed man screamed.
They got closer and closer
As eren prepared to fight if the cannon didn't go off
And it didn't "come on work you stupid peice of crap"
Ash said trying to figure out why it didn't shoot
"GUYS LIKE I SAID HURRY!!!" The scar eyed man said
And the soft spoken looked at them "WERE DEAD!!!"
The soft spoken man said.
Until ash hits the cannon making it fire with a loud BANG!.
