Next morning. Hope Niklausdóttir (Mikaelson) POV.
The good thing aboutnot needing to seep is that I can spend my nights making original spells for myself.
Like a simple spell to 'identify bonds', and finally find out what that bond I have with Morgana actually is… I just need to get an actual chance to use it.
Maybe when her magic awakens fully? That should make my spell work easier, right? Should I use it now?
I know she's not my mate in any way because both mum and dad have told me that for a wolf, of the supernatural variety obviously, the bond feels like the world tilts and tumbles before becoming anchored in the other person.
That shit sounds like something straight out of Twilight but I suppose it makes sense, in a bullshit soulmate-ish kind of way…
…
...
I just hope its not the idiot from the legacies TV show who was the love interest for the original Hope. I hated that guy…

Claim Y/N→]
Well… I guess I don't need the Soul Traps now, and the Heal-Balls are better than the Poké-Balls I got anyway…
Hold up… 'modified'? Why does it specify it's modified?
Unfortunately for my bond identification spell, getting the Heal-Balls has put a second obstacle in my plan that has surpassed the lack of magical inspiration… I'm now on my way to Thunderwing, who I eventually let into the stables, just so I don't actually have to worry about her healthy or about some idiot finding out she's actually a hippogriff.
Other than that… I'm absolutely bored… unfortunately for me and my modern brain, and my tribrid nature, I have nothing to do. The earliest plot point I can actually witness wont be 'available' until tonight, and due to the ban on all magic in the kingdom there is not many resources available for me to learn this land's sorcery.
Because yes… apparently there's different ways to use magic.
For example: I know every single spell and ritual included in the 'TVD/Originals/Legacies' version of magic, or Witchcraft
if you want to put a name to it; I shouldn't be able to use everything, as some of it isn't what I'm naturally suited for or, in some cases, I refuse to do it because it's just plainly disgusting, but due to my wish when reincarnating, as
long as I know it, I can either use it or make a version of it that I can use with no effort at all.
Then you have Sorcery… the kind used by witches, warlocks, and overall sorcerers that are connected to the so called 'old religion'. Again, I can use it, I just don't actually know any of the spells o yet, or how to make a spell for this type of magic...
Then I have my magic… 'Tribrid magic', for all intents and purposes.
An original way of magic that I've created on accident by not focusing on a branch of magic when I made a spell to mimic Jedi mind tricks; doesn't have a name other than 'Mind-trick'
but it worked, kinda, I didn't need the normal eye contact of vampiric compulsion and the poor fool I used it on, to lure him into an alley to taste the local blood pool, did what I asked, but I still used compulsion to wipe him before I let him go.

Hours later. 3rd person POV.
Using a Heal-Ball on Thunderwing was easy enough for Hope, she just had explain that it was a different kind of Poké-Ball to Thunderwing and then wipe the stable boy and make him think that there never was another horse there. Then she just had to leave the place while making sure to not leave a trace.
Currently though, preparations for the banquet are on the way so the castle kitchens are roaring with activity and Hope found herself going from one place to the other to cook 5 things at the same time.
"You'll want to take that off the fire before it burns…" Hope said as she passed by another one of the cooks with a tray of freshly baked bread.
The cook nearly tripped as she spun around to take a pan off the fire, the meat on it being cooked to perfection. "How'd you know, girlie?"
"Same way I always know…" Hope answered vaguely, placing the tray of bread on a counter and pulling a whole turkey out of the oven and plating it, her masterpiece this time. "Brilliant... You there, grab the bread and follow me to the banquet hall" she continued, calling over one of the servants over. She didn't wait for them and left the kitchens, knowing the banquet was just about to start.
…
In fact, the banquet hall is bustling with activity right now, as hope has to manoeuver a bit so she can get the roasted turkey to the main table.
"Are you ok?" asked a maid when she saw Hope almost trip while going back to the kitchens.
"Yep! I'm fine, just got to get the last few things to the tables… " She answered before rushing off.
Before long the banquet started, although it quietens down as king Uther enters the room 5 minutes after the court members. Of course, Hope, some cooks, and servants were in attendance, just in case something was needed but before long, plot happened…
"We have enjoyed twenty years of peace and prosperity. It has brought the kingdom and myself many pleasures, but few can compare with the honor of introducing Lady Helen of Mora." Uther announces as he stands up.
The Lady Helen rises from her seat and goes to the middle of the room before she starts singing.
The effect is almost instantaneous, the attendants start nodding off just a few moments before the candles start dimming and blowing off on their own, cobwebs also start forming all over the hall, covering nearly everything.
Hope grins when she notices Merlin's eyes glow golden while making the chandelier fall onto lady Helen, but as this is real life, the impact was just enough for a knockout. Still, unconsciousness is apparently enough for the magic to dispel
as Lady Helen's figure shimmers back into the old woman from when Merlin arrived at Camelot.
The court members wake up and start pulling the cobwebs off, muttering amongst themselves as Uther and Arthur stand up to see the old woman lying on the floor.
When the woman wakes up and raises herself up enough to throw a dagger at Arthur, Merlin slows down time on instinct just enough to reach Arthur and pull him out of harm's way. The dagger slices into Arthur's chair as they fall to the floor.
Seeing the old woman not being taken out like in canon and about to pull another disappearing act, Hope rushes forwards with a muttered "Oh, no you're not…" before grabbing a meat knife and hurling it at the woman with deadly accuracy.
Uther and Arthur are staring at Merlin when they hear the thudding of the woman falling to the floor with a knife sticking out of her eye, and then they look over at Hope, who has effectively drawn every eye in the room to herself.
'So much for not wanting to draw attention to myself.' Hope
thought with a sheepish grin, standing straight andstraightening her clothes. 'Still, not regretting my choice.'
"You've dealt with the witch…" Uther muttered, only the people next to him hearing his words, before turning back to Merlin. "You, you've saved my boy's life. A debt like that must be repaid."
"Oh… Well…" Merlin trailed off, stunned.
"And you, you've dealt the witch a killer blow with that knife." Uther continued, turning back to Hope. "You both shall be rewarded."
"No I- you don't- I mean… it's not necessary, your highness." Merlin said, stuttering a bit.
"Pfft…" Hope snorted but quickly collected herself. "While the nerves may be… impeding… his speech, milord, he is technically correct." She finished off, drawing Merlin's gaze for barely a moment.
"Nonsense, you absolutely must, and with something quite special." Uther declared. "You both shall be awarded positions in the royal household." He continued and turned to
face Merlin just slightly. "You shall be awarded a position as prince Arthur's manservant" he finished, oblivious to both Arthur's, and Merlin's continued protests.
Many of the guests clapped for a few seconds before Uther turned to look at Hope.
"I already work here sire, in the palace kitchens actually." Hope said before the king could say anything, shifting on her feet as people were waiting to see what her reward would be. "And besides, dealing with a deranged old woman in the same manner she attempted her attack was a reward itself." 'No matter that the reason she was deranged was vengeance.' She finished off in her mind.
"Then, you shall be elevated from said position…" he trailed off as if remembering something. "I seem to recall being told that you came from a distant land and entered the kitchen staff because of the expertise you had in cooking, but based on how you speak I can tell you've been educated." He said. "Tell me, back with your people, did you hold any duties in court?"
"Uh…" Hope started, not sure how to answer that because of being a Viking. "Technically? I guess. I mean, I'm not even remotely a princess or anything but you could consider my father the equivalent of a lord if you go by Camelot's standard." She continued, because while Niklaus Mikaelson was the ruler of the village where Hope grew up, she was not exactly sure of the equivalent position she held here.
"Then why the cooking, child?" Uther questioned. "You could have said something earlier."
"I just liked cooking enough to learn how to do it, and it's useful to know when you also like sneaking off and hunting your own food." She shrugged, amused by the chuckles around court and unrepentant of any behavior that could seem uncouth. "Besides, I don't actually hold any positions in any part of Britannia."
"You came by the seas then?" Uther asked, getting a nod from Hope. "Then you shall be awarded a position as the lady Morgana's maid of honor, thou I will not begrudge your use of the kitchens if you still desire to cook from time to time."
"Very
well sire…" Hope said with a graceful bow. 'Well that's fortuitous. I wonder if I can keep her from going evil.' She thought to herself while the crowd clapped.
Meanwhile, the head chef was sighing in relief as he learned that the girl that had reached adulthood seemingly just a few years ago, and the one that made the kitchens into a tornado of spices and heat was no longer going to keep the place in such a state; honestly he sometimes thought that she could cover the entire kitchen duties by herself if they let her.

Hope was walking through the town on her way back to the castle with a few new dresses in her arms. Turns out, as a maid of honor which is basically the unmarried version of a lady in waiting, she has to dress accordingly… as a lady would.
Also… she hoped that the gacha would eventually give her the opportunity to summon a maid or something because she apparently needed one and having one of the castle maids attending to her felt very weird.
"Hello Hope." A familiar voice broke her out of her thoughts.
"Ah yes, hi Gwen." She answered, turning around to look at her. "Sorry, I was in my own head for a bit there."
"Are you thinking about the tournament?" Gwen asked, walking alongside Hope.
"Actually, no… I uh… was thinking of actually hiring a maid now that I hold a position in court, apparently its not proper for me to do my own stuff all on my lonesome now." Hope said hiding just enough about the truth to not outright lie.
"Why not let one of the maids at the castle be assigned to you?"
"Because it feels weird…" Hope winced.
"Oh… " Gwen blinked before she giggled slightly.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up Gwen." Hope snarked. "It's not like I was working in the castle alongside them until a few days ago."
"True, that is."
"And then this kingdom is weird about having only male knights or even male warriors so I can't even take part in the
tournament and let out my frustrations by beating some arrogant knights into the ground…"
"Wait, you know how to fight?"
"Yeah… I know it's not really done over here but, back home I was one of the best warriors we had. I even have my own sword and all."
They were drawn out of their conversation as they arrived at the castle gates, where knights and warriors can be sent arriving for the tournament.
"Remind me again, when is the
tournament supposed to start?" Hope asked.
"In two days."
"Ah, alright then…" Hope trailed off and after a few moments of awkward silence, she spoke again and almost threw
the dresses she was carrying to Gwen when she noticed someone following a young girl. "I got to go, I uh… have somethings to do. Can I ask you to leave these in my chambers?"
"Sure I'll…" Gwen started, but Hope was already rushing forward and dodging people. "...do that." She huffed.

Scene break ~o~o~o~o~o~o~o~
Hope ran through the streets as fast as she could while still keeping herself to a human pace, dodging people as she could and trying to not let the guy she saw escape her sight.
'Shit! That was a daylight ring on his hand' she thought, quickly retrieving her 'Mikaelson' daylight/moonlight ring from her inventory and placing it on her index finger on her left hand.
Finally after reaching an emptier side of town Hope immediately launched herself against the guy, who was clearly a vampire by the way he was nearly biting the now unconscious girl he had life in the air, tackling him and making him fly against the wall.
"Get away from her…" Hope growled and hissed at the recovering vampire. "This town is mine you little bastard." She continued hissing.
"Who the fuck do you think you are!?" The vampire asked, his accent seemed almost Scottish, then the vampire looked
at Hope and laughed. "A little girl?" He said between arrogant laughs and tried to rush Hope, who just dodged by jumping away and landing in a crouch.
"Oh you just fucked up…" Hope snarled and rushed forward, nails sharpening into wickedly sharp nails that looked as black as midnight. The other vampire didn't even have time to react as she lounged her hand into his chest and ripped his heart out.
"Idiot." Hope said dropping the heart in the sun, tasting the vampire's blood from her fingers before she knelt by him and removed his daylight ring before grabbing him by the neck and tossing him into the sun as well.
The body quickly started smoking, burned and began to fall apart into ash that was quickly scattered by the wind.
It was only then that Hope turned around and looked at the unconscious girl again and walked to her after cleaning herself with a simple wordless spell. Then she lifted the girl and carried her to a more populated spot in search for her mother.

A few days later, at the start of the next week and just after Merlin dealt with Valiant, the cheating knight with the magic shield, and when Hope received her newest 5 tokens, she decided to do what she should have honestly done with all of the mostly useless money she had in her inventory.
Buying tokens in bulk. At the end of it, Hope's currency counter spooked something like this:
[Currency: {$99,000} {Gc: 2} {Sc: 15} {Cc: 21}; Gacha Token counter: {Common: 4,020}]
And yes, she was cursing herself for not thinking about it earlier.
Then, after a few quick merges through the system left her with:
[Currency: {$99,000} {Gc: 2} {Sc: 15} {Cc: 21}; Gacha Token counter: {Uncommon: 2; Epic: 4}]
'I could have done that since forever ago…' Hope sighed to herself in her room. 'Instead I was a dumbass and kept the stupid paper currency in a world that does not care for it yet… you know what, just Roll the Gacha! Momma wants stuff to drown her sorrows in.'
