The two Elite Kobold Fighters gave him six Mediocre Cores, three Might Cores and three Magic Cores. He kept them inside his Storage Pouch. Not because he wanted to save them for Darla, but because he was so close to level 17.
His Might Stats reached the threshold, and his Magic Stats were close to the threshold. His Intelligence had reached the threshold, with the remaining three being very close.
He didn't want to use his Mediocre Quality Cores for the magic, given how close they were, especially his Arcane Perception. He only needed one more Magic Core for it to reach the threshold. That was why he saved the mediocre quality cores for later. Consequently, his Storage Pouch is full, as his cores took the three remaining slots.
