After finally reacting, Zeus looked at Loki with eyes full of killing intent and rage.
"Where did this little god come from, daring to bark in the sacred Omnipotence City?"
Shining lightning appeared in Zeus's hand. It was his divine weapon, the Thunderbolt, a divine artifact made of lightning, possessing the destructive power of all lightning.
Seeing this, Thor quickly stepped in front of Loki, blocking Zeus's view, and smiled awkwardly. "Calm down, everyone calm down."
Thor was sweating profusely. He didn't understand why Loki would be so "foolish."
"And where did you come from, little god? Hmph, I invited the king of asgard, you are not on the invitation list. Now, get out immediately."
"Guards! Guards!"
Zeus was furious. If it weren't for other important matters, he would have loved to strike Loki dead on the spot.
"Enough."
Aaron gave Loki a look that said "well done" and waved his hand, knocking all the golden-armored guards away.
Loki pushed Thor aside and quickly followed beside Aaron, a defiant smile on his lips. He didn't put Zeus in his eyes at all.
Zeus was enraged. "King of asgard, what exactly do you want to do?"
"Did Hercules not tell you that you are here to explain the crimes you have committed to the gods?"
"Because of you, the Dimensional Rulers are about to invade reality in full force."
"Because of you, this universe will be plunged into misery, and countless beings will be devoured by demons."
"And now, you even condone your subordinate's outrageous remarks in this sacred place, insulting the great king of the gods."
"If you do not give us a reasonable explanation today, I will, in the name of the gods of Omnipotence City, banish you forever."
Facing Zeus's questioning, Aaron returned a smile. "Am I not giving you a chance to act out?"
"Isn't this the excuse you've been dreaming of?"
"Zeus, put away your ridiculous posture. I am right here. Do you dare to come?"
How powerful was Aaron's psychic ability?
Don't let Zeus's apparent anger fool you. In reality, beneath that angry exterior was a different situation.
He was indeed angry, but he had found an opportunity to vent.
They feared the names of Dimensional Rulers like Cyttorak, they feared death a thousand times over.
Aaron's words made the gods, led by Zeus, lose dignity.
Although they did indeed think that way, saying it directly made it quite awkward.
Zeus could feel the gazes of the gods upon him.
Their eyes seemed to be asking: What should we do next?
Zeus's face cycled between pale and flushed.
Suppressing his rage, he forced a smile. "King of asgard, I believe there has been some misunderstanding."
"The most powerful Gods in the Universe are gathered here. We invited you to discuss how to face the Dimensional Ruler crisis."
"We have definite information indicating that powerful Dimensional Rulers, including Cyttorak, Shuma-Gorath, and Chthon, have already established a Dimensional Ruler Alliance."
"Once they enter our Universe, we will be facing countless powerful Dimensional Rulers."
"Even if you don't consider us, you must consider the Nine Realms and the fate of Asgard."
Zeus tightly clenched the lightning in his hand, suppressing his fury to keep from striking.
After all, he was the great king of the gods.
Thor finally understood the underlying meaning.
He scanned the Gods in surprise. "Everyone, you are the greatest Gods in reality throughout history."
"With all of us gathered here, are you actually afraid to wage war against those Dimensional Rulers?"
"As long as we unite, we can form an invincible army and thoroughly beat up those reckless Dimensional Rulers."
"But what now? Are you preparing to surrender without a fight? Have you forgotten your legends and Divine Might?"
Facing Thor's astonished gaze, most of the Gods present lowered their heads, avoiding Thor's eyes. Other Gods glanced away or closed their eyes, seemingly deep in thought.
A few showed expressions of shame, yet they still did not speak.
It was true that they were Gods but that was Cyttorak, after all.
Just hearing that name caused them to lose all fighting spirit.
Thor finally looked at Zeus, his idol.
Zeus coughed, controlled the floating platform to descend, and walked toward Aaron and Thor.
"Gentlemen, I know you are very brave, and I know your strength must be considerable, as this is the first time I've seen the Dimensional Rulers act so frantically."
"But the situation now is that you simply don't know what you are facing."
Zeus looked at Aaron. "As I just said, your presence in this Universe will only invite disaster."
"The Gods will panic, and the lives and deaths of countless beings will be threatened."
"We can actually discuss this properly, King of Asgard, what exactly will it take for you to leave this world?"
Thor opened his mouth, about to speak again.
Zeus immediately raised his hand to stop him. "Big fellow, don't talk back to me. Everything I do is for everyone's benefit, including yours."
"You are young, a God with boundless prospects. You are full of vigor and bravery, but I imagine your academic performance must be terrible, causing your father great embarrassment."
"And you..."
Zeus then pointed at Loki.
At this moment, Loki's expression was complicated and solemn.
"Your academic performance must be excellent, you are very clever."
"You must clearly understand what those names I just mentioned truly mean."
"They are the most terrifying existences in the world. Any one of them, taken alone, is a terrifying entity capable of destroying countless Reality Universes."
"Forget about your Asgard. Even if all the Gods of Omnipotence City gathered together, we wouldn't be enough for just one of them to trample."
"Yes, I admit, I am afraid. All the Gods present here are afraid. But shouldn't that be the case?"
"Just like the Mortals we shelter, it's normal for them to fear the great power of the Gods, right?"
Zeus spoke these words with an air of self-justification.
He showed no shame for his cowardice and fear.
"King of Asgard, they are all fine young men. As a King, are you willing to see your subjects pay the price of death for your choices?"
Thor retorted, "We do not fear death! Rather than living on our knees, I would rather die standing!"
"Our soul will eventually return to Valhalla, this is the destiny of a warrior!"
"No, you must have misunderstood something."
Zeus shook his head repeatedly. "Valhalla? You won't have that chance. Do you know Shuma-Gorath? He feeds on screaming souls and drinks the curdled milk of dead stars."
"Facing them, even if you die, you won't have the chance for your souls to return to Valhalla. You will be swallowed whole by them and dissolved into boundless darkness."
"In fact, he only needs to extend a single tentacle to make this place..."
Zeus made an explosion gesture. "...explode with a bang."
