Chapter 329 - Invitation to Omnipotence City

Aaron glanced at the time, it was already late afternoon.

Time to go home.

Aaron was about to call Arcee and her sisters to drive when Heimdall's voice requesting an audience reached his ears.

"King of the gods, an envoy from Omnipotence City wishes to see you."

Aaron frowned.

Will these guys ever stop?

The three sisters had just received the message and were about to climb down from upstairs.

Aaron stopped them. "Never mind, you all go back first. I'm taking a trip to Asgard."

Although Aaron was not fond of the gods of Omnipotence City who lived lives of debauchery, he wanted to see what those guys were planning.

"Heimdall."

As soon as Aaron called out toward the sky, the light of the Bifrost Bridge immediately descended and enveloped Aaron.

Soon, Aaron was shrouded in golden light and pulled toward Asgard.

"God King, I apologize for disturbing you. The envoy from Omnipotence City is currently in the Palace's hall."

Heimdall bowed, expressing his apology to Aaron.

Aaron nodded slightly, signaling Heimdall to continue guarding the Bifrost Bridge, and stepped forward, instantly crossing several miles to reach the hall.

At this very moment, Odin, sitting on the throne, had a slightly grim expression.

Upon seeing Aaron, he immediately stood up and yielded the spot, taking a slightly smaller golden throne located to the right.

After Aaron sat down, he looked at the so-called envoy from Omnipotence City. He was wearing Greek-style leather armor, carrying a sword on his back, and holding a golden hammer-headed club. It was none other than the Son of Zeus—Hercules.

Hercules was secretly astonished watching Odin's actions, but his expression remained calm.

"King of asgard. I am Hercules, son of Zeus."

Aaron nodded and said casually, "Speak. What is the purpose of your visit?"

Hercules said with a solemn expression, "Just today, the major pantheons received news that the Dimensional Rulers are about to unite and invade our world."

"Representing the will of the gods, I wish to invite you to Omnipotence City to explain to the gods why those Dimensional Rulers are in such a riot."

"Only then can we figure out a way to appease them and avoid this war."

Aaron lost interest the moment he heard this.

He thought Zeus was going to host some sort of multi-person debauchery party and specifically invite him as a guest. But it turned out to be another threat from the Dimensional Rulers.

He could tell at a glance the deep-seated unease hidden beneath Hercules' composed surface.

It seemed that as soon as this news spread, the gods of Omnipotence City were already restless.

Although Omnipotence City encompasses all the powerful, high-tier Gods in the Universe, their strength is generally mediocre.

The most powerful ones, such as Zeus and other Godkings, are only at the same rank as Odin.

Someone like Hercules is already considered a pillar of Omnipotence City. He is probably on Thor's level.

They were already terrified and living in constant fear when facing just the God Butcher Gorr.

How could they possibly remain calm when facing the threat of the even more terrifying Dimensional Ruler Alliance?

Those gods have probably long been chilled to the bone.

Odin looked displeased and said angrily, "Explain? You want the great lord of the nine realms, King of asgard, to come to your door and explain to you?"

Hercules showed no fear in meeting Odin's gaze. "God King Odin, as a member of Omnipotence City, I believe the lord of the nine realms has the necessity and the obligation to maintain communication with the gods."

"Furthermore, the calamity of the Dimensional Rulers was caused by your side. Why should the gods pay for you?"

"The Dimensional Rulers have already stated that unless your side is handed over, they will slaughter all life in our Universe."

"The gods of Omnipotence City are deeply concerned about the cause of this incident and are willing to contribute, but your side must also provide an explanation."

Aaron smiled. "So, you are afraid?"

"The gods of Omnipotence City were scared by one God Butcher Gorr, afraid to go home, and now they are being threatened by a group of Dimensional Rulers far away."

"What, you can't defeat the God Butcher, nor can you afford to offend the Dimensional Rulers, so you dare to bark wildly in front of me?"

Aaron saw through the intentions of Hercules and the gods behind him.

The gods' concern was fake. More importantly, they wanted to solve the problem fundamentally.

Aaron was that fundamental problem.

This invitation to Aaron was merely to understand the whole story and also to confirm Aaron's capabilities.

If he wasn't too formidable, they wouldn't mind proactively handing Aaron over or expelling him.

Hercules' face was starting to look awkward. "God King Aaron, you are slandering the gods."

Aaron raised his hand to stop what he was about to say next. "You want me to go to Omnipotence City, right? Very well, I'll go now."

Aaron's smile was very sincere. "I have long admired the so-called gods, and now is the perfect time to witness the might of the gods."

Seeing this, Odin gripped Gungnir and stood up. "Aaron, I will go with you."

"No need. I think... the gods won't mess around, right?"

Aaron looked at Hercules, who nodded faintly, lacking confidence.

Aaron's smile suddenly turned cold. "Of course, if they plan to do something, all the better."

If the gods intended to do something, he wouldn't mind taking this opportunity to devour the power of the gods.

Looking at Aaron's cold smile, Hercules, for some reason, had a bad feeling.

It felt as if inviting Aaron into Omnipotence City was like inviting a wolf into the house.

No, that couldn't be.

That was Omnipotence City, the center of the world where stars gathered and countless Supreme Gods resided.

It housed the greatest legendary heroes and incredible myths and legends in history.

It was the most powerful and safest place in the Universe.

How could anything possibly go wrong there?

Odin looked worried, but seeing Aaron's confident look, and thinking of the other party's immense power, his troubled heart settled slightly.

He used mental transmission to introduce Aaron to the origins of Omnipotence City.

It is the Pantheon, a paradise for gods jointly built by all Gods.

This is where the gods hold major conferences, and it is an important venue for exchanging information and meeting friends.

Omnipotence City has another major purpose—to avoid the attacks of the God Butcher Gorr.

It is not located in the material Reality Universe, but within a Pocket Universe. It can only be reached through special means.

Only powerful pantheons qualified to enter Omnipotence City can master this method.

Small pantheons, for example, are not qualified and are not on the invitation list.

Zeus and the other gods have not left Omnipotence City for a long time to avoid the God Butcher Gorr.

They made their homes inside. Even if the God Butcher slaughtered many pantheons, he could do nothing to Zeus and the other gods.

Because no matter how many gods he killed, they were only abandoned low-level gods, having no effect on the status or strength of the main gods.

Odin was also qualified to secure a place in Omnipotence City. However, due to certain considerations, he did not lead Asgardians there.

After all, Omnipotence City cannot accommodate all deities. It only welcomes powerful gods, and a large portion of the ordinary Asgardians would inevitably not be admitted.

Odin was quite confident in his strength and was unwilling to abandon his people and the Nine Realms. Therefore, to this day, he has not been to Omnipotence City for several centuries.

Records about Omnipotence City stopped hundreds or even thousands of years ago, becoming a legend in Asgard. Even Thor only knew such a place existed but had never been there.
