Carol raised an eyebrow. She grabbed the Tesseract and pushed it toward Aaron.
She smiled and gave Aaron a look that said, "Go ahead and take it."
Aaron grabbed the Tesseract and applied slight force, but it didn't budge.
Carol's lips were still curved in a smile, as if saying: Can you even do it, skinny guy?
Aaron smirked, suddenly increased his strength, and snatched the Tesseract, causing Carol to lurch forward and almost fall onto the table.
"Hold on, we've only just met. You don't have to be so enthusiastic." Aaron said, feigning surprise.
Carol's lips twitched, and she subtly straightened up.
As the first superhero and Fury's greatest trump card, Carol had never suffered a loss since gaining her abilities. Even the most powerful enemies were vulnerable before her.
Undoubtedly, before the Infinity War, Carol was the strongest hero. She even went straight to confront Thanos with all the Infinity Stones. She even gave Thanos a fierce headbutt.
Her strength was beyond doubt.
Fury, in order to deal with Hydra and strengthen their side's confidence, had called Carol back early.
After learning of Aaron's existence, Carol expressed great surprise, but also felt unconvinced.
That's why this time, she deliberately wanted to test Aaron's true quality. But she hadn't expected to suffer a small loss.
"You have some capability... you are quite good." Carol nodded in admiration.
Fury's face darkened, and he kept giving her meaningful looks.
Did you forget what I told you? He is Aaron, the Star Forger, the God Slayer.
Don't mess around!
Fury was afraid that Carol would presumptuously provoke Aaron, which would lead to Aaron's fierce counterattack.
Earth couldn't handle that kind of trouble.
He still remembered Aaron's magnificent physique at the time—the power level capable of flattening Earth with a single slap—how could Carol compare?
Carol gave him a look that said, "Don't worry, everything is under control."
Fury was speechless.
Don't go crazy!
Carol extended her right hand eagerly. "Mr. Aaron, I heard your power is immense. Perhaps we could have a little contest?"
However, Aaron completely ignored her and devoured the Space Stone with a backhand motion.
[Power of Space: You have gained the Space Stone's abilities, possessing cosmic-level spatial control ability, allowing you to arbitrarily twist space and travel through time and space.]
Carol moved closer, placing her hand in front of Aaron. "Is it possible that the great Mr. Miracle is afraid of losing to a woman?"
Aaron raised his head and looked at his right hand.
He didn't want to bother with Carol, but Carol was too persistent. He didn't mind letting Carol know what true power was.
"Fine."
Aaron extended his right hand and grasped Carol's.
Carol's face lit up, and she was about to exert force.
But in the next instant, an incredibly terrifying force surged from her right hand, and Carol could only stare blankly at her hand being pinned down.
I lost just like that?
Carol refused to accept it, mobilizing all her strength to try and push back.
She even activated Binary Mode.
But Aaron's hand seemed to contain the power of a Stellar Core. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move it even an inch.
Carol was dumbfounded.
All her pride was shattered by this single move.
Aaron subsequently acquired Carol's ability
[Binary Burst: You have gained Binary Mode, allowing you to mobilize energy for comprehensive enhancement of your physical quality and flying ability. You can fly at superluminal speed, and your total body strength will be temporarily amplified tenfold.]
Aaron's eyes lit up.
Although Captain Marvel only contributed one ability to him, it was a valuable Percentage Amplification.
Currently, he has four methods for physical amplification: Ultimate Chi, Rampage (Using Inner Universe's Energy), Limit Breakthrough, and Binary Mode.
Plus the exponentially increasing Grand Unification Force.
Even Aaron dared not imagine how powerful he would be if he fully unleashed everything.
Looking solely at the power multiplier, without fully utilizing Rampage, he can now easily unleash ten times the power he used recently against Dormammu and Infinite Ultron.
One punch—no, he only needs one finger—to destroy Infinite Ultron and Dormammu.
He only needs one finger to puncture the immense Fractured Domain, striking fear into the hearts of the many Dimensional Rulers.
A decent haul.
In his cheerful mood, Aaron looked at Carol and found her quite pleasing to the eye.
But that was the extent of it.
It wouldn't work even with the lights off.
After all, Aaron saw the night as clearly as day, and even with his eyes closed, he could easily sense Carol's appearance through his other senses.
Not being picky is good, but he can't let his little brother suffer.
Carol felt that Aaron's gaze was somewhat offensive. It wasn't a lecherous gaze, but one mixed with a smile and a hint of disdain.
Carol was very unhappy, extremely unhappy.
In Binary Mode, golden light erupted from her eyes, and her whole body was enveloped in a golden glow.
She looked somewhat like Aaron but she still couldn't do anything to Aaron.
"Are you done playing?" Aaron said casually while holding a cup of water and drinking.
Carol's face darkened, showing a touch of Fury's style.
Fury shook his head, supporting his forehead nearby.
Alas, I told you not to mess with Aaron. Aren't you just humiliating yourself?
He can play with Planets like marbles, why would you try to challenge him? Isn't that just throwing an egg against a rock?
Seeing that Carol didn't speak, Aaron glanced at her, then withdrew his hand and stood up.
"Let's go."
G'iah followed Aaron, her face full of adoration, not sparing Fury or Carol a single glance the entire time.
As the daughter of Talos, G'iah knew just how powerful Carol was. She alone could defeat the powerful Accusers, forcing Ronan, the legendary hero of the Kree Empire, to retreat far away.
She could easily traverse the Universe, fighting the Kree Empire in other Star Domains, leaving them helpless.
Decades passed, yet her appearance remained unchanged, she was still so young.
A powerhouse like this could certainly be called a God.
But facing Aaron, Carol was like an ant overestimating her strength.
Carol looked utterly defeated.
Fury comforted her, "Carol, don't worry about it too much. He is Aaron."
"Besides him, you are still the strongest hero on the entire Earth."
Although Fury disliked Carol's arrogance just now, he had to admit that he didn't have many cards left to play. Carol was his biggest card.
Carol still didn't listen.
She was having an existential crisis.
She asked, "Is Aaron really a being that Earth could give birth to?"
Fury sighed. "Whether he is or not, he is on Earth now. He has settled down and built a nest here. We can only endure it a little longer."
What could he do? He just had to take it.
"Carol, what I'm about to say might be unpleasant, but I must solemnly tell you: absolutely do not provoke him or the people around him."
"You can urinate on Stark Industries, and you can ignore the authority of the United Nations, but you absolutely cannot provoke him."
"That man's wrath is enough to burn our world to ashes."
Fury's voice kept echoing in Carol's ears.
Seeing that Carol still didn't speak, Fury shook his head and left.
What needed to be said had been said. If Carol still didn't understand, then he was powerless.
