---

The noise of the arena still echoed behind him.

Cheers.

Arguments.

Coins being thrown.

People still screaming about rigged bets.

Giovanni walked out of the Corrida Colosseum gates, stretching his shoulders like he had just finished a warm-up.

"Man…" he muttered. "That guy really talked a lot for someone that weak."

He rolled his neck casually.

The golden armor clanked loudly with every movement.

"…This thing is kinda heavy though."

A pause.

"…Still worth it."

He grinned.

"YO!"

A loud voice cut through the noise.

Giovanni turned and froze for half a second.

Then his face broke into a wide grin.

"Well, well…"

Leaning casually against a nearby wall—

Shanks stood with a huge smile, arms crossed.

Beside him, Yassop was counting a mountain of bills.

"…You look stupid."

Giovanni scoffed instantly.

"And you look broke."

Yassop didn't even look up.

"Not anymore."

He lifted a sack.

It jingled heavily.

"…Thanks to you."

Giovanni blinked.

"…Wait."

Shanks burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAHA! We bet everything on you!"

"You WHAT?!"

Yassop smirked.

"Best decision I've made all day."

Giovanni folded his arms.

"…Of course you did."

"Did you doubt me?"

"Constantly."

"…Fair."

More footsteps approached.

Familiar ones.

Benn Beckman stepped forward, lighting a cigarette.

"…Took you long enough."

Giovanni raised an eyebrow.

"Took me long? I ended that in one move."

Beckman exhaled smoke.

"…Exactly."

Giovanni frowned.

"…What's that supposed to mean?"

From behind him—

A massive figure appeared.

Lucky Roo chewing casually, meat in hand.

"You could've made it more entertaining."

Giovanni pointed at him.

"YOU of all people don't get to talk about entertainment!"

Roo took another bite.

"…Fair."

"Oi."

A voice from above.

Giovanni looked up and blinked.

Sitting comfortably on the shoulder of Bonk Punch…

"…Robin?"

Nico Robin looked down at him calmly.

"…Hello, Giovanni."

Giovanni stared.

"…Why are you up there?"

Bonk Punch adjusted slightly.

Monkey sat on his other shoulder, staring blankly.

Robin tilted her head slightly.

"…It's comfortable."

"…That's not what I meant."

Yassop snorted.

"She's been with us since earlier."

Shanks grinned.

"Honorary crew member."

Giovanni blinked again.

"…That was fast."

Robin gave a small smile.

"…They're… lively."

"That's one way to put it," Beckman muttered.

Giovanni shook his head.

"…Anyway."

He pointed his thumb back toward the arena.

"You saw that, right?"

Shanks nodded.

"…Yeah."

Giovanni puffed his chest slightly.

"…Impressed?"

Yassop smirked.

"…A little."

Beckman shrugged.

"…You didn't trip over your armor. That's impressive enough."

Giovanni's eye twitched.

"…You people are unbelievable."

"GIOVANNI!"

A sharp voice cut in.

Everyone turned.

Walking toward them—

Arms crossed.

Expression annoyed.

Scarlett.

Giovanni's grin instantly widened.

"Ah. My biggest fan."

Scarlett stopped in front of him.

"…Don't start."

Giovanni gestured dramatically toward himself.

"You saw that, right?"

"I did."

"And?"

Scarlett scoffed.

"…You fought a weak opponent."

Silence.

Then—

Shanks burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAHA!"

Yassop leaned against the wall, shaking.

"She got you good!"

Giovanni pointed at her.

"HEY—!"

"That guy had a hammer!"

Scarlett shrugged.

"…And still lost in one hit."

"…That's because I'm strong!"

"…Or he was weak."

Giovanni's eye twitched again.

He stepped closer.

Lowered his voice slightly.

"…So…"

Scarlett raised an eyebrow.

"…So?"

Giovanni smirked.

"…You must regret what you said earlier."

"…What did I say?"

"That I'd lose."

Scarlett didn't even hesitate.

"…No."

Giovanni froze.

"…Excuse me?"

"You fought a weak person," she repeated. "That proves nothing."

"…You're unbelievable."

"…I've been told that."

A brief pause.

Then—

Giovanni snapped his fingers.

"Alright."

Scarlett narrowed her eyes.

"…What now?"

Giovanni leaned in slightly.

"…Take me on a tour."

"…What?"

"Dressrosa," he said casually. "Show me around."

Scarlett blinked.

"…Why would I do that?"

Giovanni shrugged.

"…Because you're a princess."

"…That's exactly why I wouldn't."

"Because you owe me."

"…For what?"

"For not embarrassing you in front of your people."

Scarlett stared at him.

"…You wore gold armor."

"…That was STYLE."

Behind them—

The crew was already watching.

Grinning.

Waiting.

Scarlett sighed.

"…You're insufferable."

Giovanni smiled.

"…I get that a lot."

Another pause.

Then—

"…Fine."

Everyone froze.

Giovanni blinked.

"…Wait, really?"

Scarlett turned away slightly.

"…I have time."

"…Wow."

"…Don't make me regret it."

Silence.

Then—

The crew exploded.

"OOOOOOOOOH!"

Shanks pointed at Giovanni, laughing.

"HE DID IT!"

Yassop clapped loudly.

"Man pulled a princess!"

Lucky Roo chewed, nodding.

"…Respect."

Beckman shook his head.

"…Unbelievable."

Even Robin smiled slightly.

"…Congratulations."

Giovanni's face went red instantly.

"SHUT UP!"

Shanks grinned wide.

"Oi, Giovanni!"

"…What?!"

He cupped his hands around his mouth.

"Don't mess it up!"

Yassop added—

"Try not to cry this time!"

"YOU—!"

Robin tilted her head.

"…Should I call her your girlfriend now?"

Giovanni froze.

"…DON'T START!"

Scarlett's face flushed instantly.

"…I AM NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND!"

The crew only laughed harder.

Giovanni groaned.

"…I hate all of you."

Shanks grinned.

"…You love us."

"…Unfortunately."

Scarlett turned and started walking.

"…Are you coming or not?"

Giovanni blinked—

Then quickly followed.

"Wait, yeah!"

He glanced back at the crew.

"…Don't wait up!"

Yassop shouted—

"WE WON'T!"

Shanks waved lazily.

"Have fun!"

As Giovanni caught up to Scarlett—

The crew watched them go.

Still grinning.

Shanks crossed his arms.

"…He's grown."

Beckman nodded slightly.

"…Yeah."

Yassop smirked.

"…Still an idiot though."

"Obviously."

Ahead—

Giovanni walked beside Scarlett.

---

The sky above Whole Cake Island shimmered in pastel hues.

Candy towers stretched endlessly.

Chocolate rivers flowed lazily.

Music, constant, cheerful, unsettling, echoed through the air.

"LA~ LA~ LA~!"

"EAT~ EAT~ EAT~!"

Homies danced across the streets. Tables twirling, teacups hopping, trees swaying to a rhythm only they understood.

At the center of it all—

A massive banquet hall.

And at the head of it—

Sat a monster.

Charlotte Linlin.

Her massive form leaned forward as she devoured cake after cake, cream smearing across her lips, eyes half-lidded in bliss.

"WEDDING CAKE~!"

"MORE~!"

A trembling chef rushed forward with another tray.

Before it even touched the table—

Gone.

Swallowed whole.

"MMMAMAMAMA!"

Her laughter shook the room.

Homies joined in instantly.

"MA-MA-MA-MA!"

"MA-MA-MA-MA!"

Standing calmly to the side—

Elegant.

Composed.

Watching everything unfold—

Charlotte Perospero.

A candy cane staff rested lightly in his hand.

"Maama," he began smoothly, voice cutting through the chaos, "there is a matter that may interest you."

Big Mom didn't stop eating.

"…Speak."

Perospero adjusted his glasses.

"There is an auction soon to be held."

A pause.

Big Mom slowed slightly.

"…Auction?"

"Indeed."

He tapped his staff once.

"The main showcases this time are… quite special."

Big Mom's chewing stopped completely.

Silence fell.

Even the homies paused.

Perospero smiled slightly.

"…The saber of the late Pirate King—"

He let the words hang.

"—Gol Roger."

The air shifted.

Big Mom's eyes narrowed.

"…Roger's… sword?"

"And—" Perospero continued, tone still calm, "a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit."

Silence.

Then—

Big Mom's grin slowly spread.

Wide.

Hungry.

"MMMAMAMAMA…"

The floor creaked beneath her shifting weight.

"A Mythical Zoan…"

Her fingers tapped against the table.

"…Now that is interesting."

She leaned back slightly.

"…Who else?"

Perospero didn't hesitate.

"Rumors suggest that Shiki may attend."

Big Mom's grin sharpened.

"…That old fool."

"Additionally," Perospero continued, "representatives from the Whitebeard Pirates and the Beast Pirates are expected."

Big Mom's eyes gleamed.

"…Oh?"

"Various other pirate crews as well," he added. "It appears to be drawing quite the crowd."

Big Mom licked cream from her fingers.

"…Of course it is."

Her gaze turned distant.

Calculating.

Then—

"One more," Perospero said.

Big Mom glanced at him.

"…Speak."

"Miss Buckingham Stussy will also be in attendance."

Big Mom chuckled lowly.

"…The Queen of the Pleasure District, hm?"

Her grin widened.

"…Now this is becoming interesting."

She leaned forward again.

"Roger… Mythical Zoans… pirates gathering…"

Her laughter slowly built.

"MMMAMAMAMAMA!"

Homies resumed their dancing instantly.

"MA-MA-MA-MA!"

"MA-MA-MA-MA!"

Big Mom rested her chin on her hand.

"…Should I go?"

Her tone was almost playful.

But beneath it—

Danger.

"…Or should I simply take everything from afar?"

Perospero remained silent.

He knew better than to answer.

---

Back at Wano Country

Dark clouds rolled over jagged mountains.

Lightning cracked across the sky.

The land itself felt heavy.

Oppressive.

Atop a massive fortress—

A towering figure sat, drinking deeply from a sake gourd.

Kaido.

The ground beneath him seemed to groan under his weight.

"…Haaah."

He exhaled, wiping his mouth.

Nearby—

Standing straight, unmoving—

King.

Silent.

Loyal.

Deadly.

Kaido lowered the gourd.

"…There's talk."

King didn't respond.

"…An auction."

A pause.

King's voice came low and steady.

"…Yes."

Kaido's eyes narrowed slightly.

"…Roger's sword."

He scoffed.

"…I don't care."

Another drink.

"…A dead man's weapon means nothing."

He lowered the gourd again.

"…But…"

A slow grin crept across his face.

"…A Mythical Zoan."

The air shifted.

Heavy and violent.

"…That," Kaido muttered, "is worth something."

King stepped forward slightly.

"…Will you go?"

Kaido was silent for a moment.

Then—

"…No."

Simple.

"…I can't leave."

His gaze turned toward the distant horizon.

"…That samurai…"

"…Kozuki Oden."

A low chuckle escaped him.

"…He's going to realize it soon."

"…Five years…"

"…Five years of dancing like a fool."

Kaido's grin widened.

"…When he understands the truth…"

"…He'll rebel."

The air grew colder.

"…And when he does…"

Kaido cracked his neck slowly.

"…I'll be here."

King nodded once.

"…Then I will go in your place."

Kaido glanced at him.

"…Hmph."

A pause.

Then—

"…Fine."

He picked up the gourd again.

"…Bring it back."

A beat.

"…Or don't come back at all."

King didn't flinch.

"…Understood."

Lightning split the sky again.

Thunder roared.

And across the seas—

Forces began to move.

Pirates.

Monsters.

Legends.

All drawn toward one place.

One event.
