"P-Please! If we don't clean this up within the hour—Professor Goodwitch!"
Ruby clung desperately to one of his legs, whispering their professor's name like it was some kind of codeword for an unspeakable disaster, while Weiss and Yang each held him firmly by the shoulders.
"This... unfortunately is not optional, as embarrassing as the situation may be," Weiss coughed into her fist as a visible blush spread across her face.
"Yeah, sorry Gray-Gray, but you're part of Team Ruby too." Yang said, handing over a fresh set of clothes with a firm shove.
Clerval glanced toward Blake.
The faunus was dressed head-to-toe in white protective clothing, complete with gloves and a face mask, though her black bow still rested neatly atop her head as always. She slowly looked back at him with the hollow, traumatized stare of someone who had witnessed horrors beyond comprehension.
Eventually, he was forcibly changed into cleaner clothes and shoved into the dorm alongside the four girls.
... The room looked like the aftermath of a catastrophic explosion.
He did not know what had happened here. And he intended to keep it that way.
A knock at the door drew his attention, which led to him walking over and opening it while Team Ruby remained busy arguing over where they should even begin cleaning first.
Standing outside was Team Juniper, also dressed entirely in white protective gear.
"... Nora wanted to try making fruit punch," Jaune explained in a haunted, exhausted tone. "And then she punched this football-sized watermelon—"
Clerval closed the door immediately.
It was blissful silence when the knocking resumed repeatedly.
Quietly accepting his fate, Clerval rolled up his sleeves and got to work helping both teams clean the dorm, a faint sense of Kindness growing just a little stronger.
