From the various houses surrounding the Horn Lizard King's main hall, the Horn Lizard King's Palace Guards marched out.
Their faces were twisted, filled with strong killing intent. Each was armed with heavy armor, a sturdy shield, and a deadly weapon.
They poured in from both the left and the right, surrounding Thoren and his undead servants at the center without leaving even the slightest gap.
Looking at his powerful Palace Guards, the Horn Lizard King could not help but breathe a sigh of relief.
'As long as they can hold this wretched human back, I can find a way to escape.'
It was not that he had not wanted to escape before.
But everywhere he looked, he saw undead servants staring directly at him with their eerie hollow sockets blazing with ghostly soul fire.
More importantly, his instincts screamed continuously, making him realize the danger posed by those undead servants was far more terrifying than he had imagined.
Thus, he called for his backup.
