Coming out of his sleeping chamber, the Horn Lizard King sat on his throne and stared at his trusted aide with obvious anger.
His piercing eyes swept across the hall, causing the Horn Lizard Soldier to lower his head.
"What is it?"
His booming voice echoed throughout the hall, carrying an unquestionable authority that made the air seem heavier.
Thud!
The trusted aide fell to one knee and lowered his head respectfully.
"My King, there is an emergency that needs your attention immediately," he reported quickly, not daring to raise his head.
"Hmm?"
When the Horn Lizard King heard this, he creased his brow, and various thoughts ran through his mind.
'Is it possible those damned humans have returned?'
'That would be even better if they returned...'
'I can capture them once and for all and be done with it.'
'But if it is the humans, my soldiers should be able to handle it. They wouldn't dare disturb my sleep over such a trivial matter.'
