"Ooh...so that's what a bonding mark looks like!"
When Arthur and Eugene visited the Wynne House the next day after reporting their successful bonding to the lab and the registry office, the first thing everyone wanted to see was the bonding marks. Honeymoon and souvenirs were whatever, but a bonding mark was something most of them had never seen before. In fact, only Grandma Cynthia had seen them in the past, and only once.
"The blood vessel pattern is different from what I had seen in the past," Cynthia said. "So it's true when they said it's like a trademark for a couple."
"Oo...like a natural couple tattoo~" Shirley said teasingly at the bashful Arthur. "Can I take a picture of it?"
"I don't know why you wanted to, but I don't see why not," Eugene shrugged.
"What do you mean? It's a rare situation—the one and only in our family," Shirley scoffed while taking out her phone. "Don't you agree, girl?"
"Auuh!"
