Eugene nodded while wearing his shirt again, totally nonchalant about the many marks on his skin, which made Arthur look away in embarrassment. The alpha kept stroking his neck and shoulder, which were filled with biting marks. They should probably cover those with skin patches before going anywhere, shouldn't they?
"Are you feeling alright?" the doctor asked the couple. "Nothing weird after the bonding? Feel something different? I have to say, this is the first time I've seen bonding marks in person."
"Does it show as it should?" Arthur asked, rubbing his own mark. It felt a bit rough, like a brand made by a scalding iron—but without any of the pain.
