"You didn't prepare a vow?" Allen arched his brow.
Arthur, who was immediately dragged to the vanity chair by the makeup artist assigned to him, replied in a panic. "W-we've never talked about any vow..."
"It's not like you talked about it with your partner," Ashley rolled her eyes. "Did you discuss your birthday gift with him?"
Arthur blinked, tilting his head to ponder. "Well...sometimes?"
"Oh, no wonder it's so hard for you to surprise each other," Ashley threw her arms in surrender. "But then again, your life is already full of surprises."
"Who cares about that?! What should I do now?" Arthur gripped his armrest tightly, looking like he was about to cry at any second. "Is it...is it a requirement? Will the wedding get cancelled if we don't say any vows?"
Ashley bit her lips and patted her cousin's shoulder, sadness crossing over her face. "My condolences."
