"Thank you for today," Ella smiled brightly, gripping his tote bag so securely as if she were surrounded by a gang of thugs. She even chose one with a zipper and would have secured it with a lock if it weren't looking too suspicious. "You sure chewed me out on that storyline."
"I--I'm sorry..."
Ian lowered his head, perhaps because he was extremely nervous. He almost couldn't fill the form and put his signature on it correctly because his hand kept trembling.
Thankfully, that was also his default act in that house.
Ella scratched the back of her head. "Well...it doesn't seem I'm talented in making a storyline, after all," she grinned sheepishly. "I'll just have the others do it."
Ian grabbed his sister's hand. "You're...you're good at other stuff, Ella..."
"I know," Ella smiled, and then lifted her other hand, which was hugging the dry flower bouquet used to decorate the small room earlier. "Thank you anyway, and for this--you sure I can really take this back?"
