Arthur's grumble was swallowed by the sound of his hand beating the white eggs into fluffy meringue. Chuckling, Eugene helped himself to Arthur's coffee and sat in front of his dad, while Ian looked at them with a soft smile.
"Were we too noisy?" Ian asked.
"Nah," Eugene waved his hand nonchalantly. "It was cold sleeping alone. I usually have Hannah as a portable heater."
"Heater?"
An adorable, sleepy voice came from the living room, as Hannah wobbled forward while dragging Mr. Powder by the floppy ear. Eugene laughed and greeted the girl by scooping her into his arms.
"Speak of the little devil bear," he hugged the girl tightly and gave her a morning kiss. "It's because Hana is so~ warm."
Hannah giggled at the ticklish feeling from her papa's unshaved jaw. "Good morning, Papa," she kissed her papa's cheek in return, before jumping down and running to kiss her grandpapa's cheek. "Good morning, Grandpapa."
