"Hannah..." Cynthia repeated the name thoughtfully. "Your daughter's name is Hannah? And her father is Eugene?"
"Yeah..."
The living room fell into another bout of silence as everyone seemed to be in their own sea of thoughts. Amazingly, throughout the noisy phase and the silent phase, little Danielle didn't make a single fuss, busy testing her own grip on the toy seashell. Samantha used the chance to receive clarification since Shirley wasn't busy tending to the baby.
"So...Hannah is Uncle's kid?" she asked her stepmother.
"Yes, it seems so," Shirley smiled, still feeling like she was out of the loop since she hadn't met this omega and little girl that even Samantha had met.
And Samantha was definitely happy at this news since she immediately clasped her hands. "So, Hannah is Sammy's sister?"
"Well..." Shirley glanced at the silent adults in the room. "We can see it like that, right?"
