Arthur widened his eyes. "Are you sure?"
It felt so drastic from just texting--a suspicious text at that. Arthur thought Eugene might want to speak through a phone call first, but meeting in person? That was a whole leap of faith.
"Yeah," Eugene nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think I can do that if you go with me. I wouldn't have to worry too much about it being my brothers' ploy that way."
Arthur closed his eyes tightly and groaned as he pulled Eugene into a tight hug. "Ugh..."
Eugene laughed, stroking the alpha's back. "Why?"
"I still can't believe this," Arthur sighed, burying his face in Eugene's neck. "I was so frustrated last night imagining you and that...that alpha having fun."
"It was fun," Eugene admitted.
Arthur immediately pulled away, although his arms were still around Eugene's waist. His lips were pouting in the same way Hannah would after her papa teased her.
