Chapter 123 - Chapter 121: Son of a Dark Jedi

Since the Way of Unity began to spread throughout the Galaxy, many opponents who harbored animosity towards the Jedi Order and hid in the shadows started to travel to Vadir, wanting to see for themselves if there might be a potential conflict between the Way of Unity and the Jedi Order, or to seek their assistance.

Granta Omega, the son of the Dark Jedi Sanatos, owned many mining industries in the Outer Rim, possessing immense wealth. However, his heart was solely focused on avenging himself against the Jedi Order, killing Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and eliminating everyone connected to Qui-Gon Jinn.

After all, his father had died at the hands of Qui-Gon Jinn. Although he was already 'dead,' others connected to him were still alive.

Now, he had come to Vadir, wondering if he could cooperate with the Way of Unity. After all, his father had once taught him much about The Force, and he had even maintained contact with Dooku after his father's death and Dooku's departure from the Jedi Order.

Granta, wearing a hood, appeared in front of the Mandalorian Temple on Vadir. The semi-open Mandalorian Temple served as a tourist attraction, where students of the Way of Unity could often be seen walking around.

Naturally, Granta entered the Temple. He wanted to find a man named Kurt Vizsla, but Kote was not on Vadir at the moment; he was currently cultivating feelings with a swarm of insects.

People walking past Granta couldn't remember his face at all. Even if they had just seen him, they couldn't describe his appearance. Although Granta Omega did not possess The Force, he was an extreme opposite: a Force void.

This was practically unheard of in the entire Galaxy; The Force seemed non-existent in his life form, like a blank slate.

Even so, Granta still needed to maintain his disguise. After all, he had a legitimate identity, and he needed these small actions to conceal himself.

Among the public Force archives, Granta picked up a book, found a spot, and began to read, observing everyone around him.

Zeta, who happened to be in the library investigating news about the Yuuzhan Vong, noticed the only man among everyone wearing a hood and acting cautiously. She was filled with curiosity. Why was this? Could it be a Sith visiting?

Zeta directly covered Granta with The Force, but she couldn't feel any Force emanating from him.

"That's not right," Zeta mumbled to herself. "The ancient texts say that even droids have The Force; everything has The Force. But Kote once mentioned something about the Yuuzhan Vong seeming to have no Force at all. Perhaps he is one?" She was already there to investigate the Yuuzhan Vong, who were not mentioned in Mandalore's records, but now it seemed someone had found one.

"But for now, it's best not to be too conspicuous in the library. I'll catch him when he leaves the Temple. Even if he's not a Yuuzhan Vong, he's definitely not a good person. There's no one more mysterious than him in the Temple. Even a Sith I've met here wasn't like this, as if he's overtly telling everyone he's very mysterious."

Zeta stared at Granta in the distance, complaining inwardly.

Soon, Granta finished reading about some of the Way of Unity's views and realized that while they did teach the Dark Side, they encouraged the Light Side to Cultivate in unity. Furthermore, they had had quite a few interactions with the Jedi Order, and even the creator, Kurt Vizsla, had a significant connection with Qui-Gon Jinn.

Given this, he would need to find an opportunity to kill him; cooperation was out of the question. However, he could take all the remaining people for experimentation later.

With these thoughts, he walked out of the Mandalorian Temple, with Zeta following closely behind.

But Zeta found that she couldn't keep up with him at all. He easily shook her off in the crowd, and she couldn't even track him with The Force.

Granta was now sitting in a cafe, having taken off his cloak, drinking coffee, and watching Zeta searching for him from outside the window.

After all, he was a Great Master of crime. For him, a cloak was just the most basic disguise, also used to attract those who wanted to find him. But once he discarded the cloak and revealed his face, no one would ever suspect that an entrepreneur of inestimable wealth would personally commit a crime.

"Still too green," Granta muttered, watching Zeta as he sipped his coffee. "But his appearance is somewhat similar to Kurt Vizsla's. Is he family?"

Just then, a Kaleesh suddenly sat down opposite him.

"Hello, sir, this seat is taken," the Kaleesh said.

It was Nehaal, an assistant Zeta had brought along.

"Tsk, more than one tracker?" Granta directly splashed coffee into Nehaal's eyes, instantly pulling out the KYD-21 blaster pistol from his waist and firing, while simultaneously smashing through the glass and rushing into the street.

Nehaal immediately used The Force to control the splashing coffee and the blaster bolt fired at him.

Zeta, waiting on the street, also saw Granta escaping and quickly gave chase. The police force, responsible for street safety, heard the commotion and rushed to the area, only to see Zeta chasing a foreigner.

"Follow him!" Zeta shouted.

Nehaal also emerged from the shattered glass, directly using The Force to grab the fleeing Granta, but it was completely useless against him; The Force passed right through him.

However, passersby on the street did not show much panic at Granta being chased. They were Mandalorians, and even if they weren't, they more or less trusted the martial prowess of those around them.

Soon, a woman nearby, who was out with her child, pulled out her blaster pistol and accurately aimed at Granta's foot. A blaster bolt precisely hit the target. Other Mandalorians nearby also drew their weapons, aiming at Granta, who was being chased by Zeta and the police.

"Ah!" Granta instantly fell to the ground, losing his balance. By the time he managed to roll over, a dozen blaster pistols were already pointed at him. Even if he wanted to escape, he could only surrender now.

A Death Watch member on vacation nearby immediately took out his handcuffs and cuffed Granta, also confiscating his weapon and telling him not to move, or he'd get an electroshock package.

Zeta arrived with the police force, and Granta was thrown to the ground by the people for the police to handle.

All residents who participated in the chase were immediately rewarded by the police force, each receiving three hundred credit points, and the parent with the child received five hundred credit points. For families living on Vadir and in the Mandalorian Sector, while these credit points were indeed substantial in the Galaxy, they weren't much for them, as all of Kote's policies prioritized Mandalorians before others.

Soon, the crowd dispersed, saying they would speak up if anything happened, as they were all Mandalorians.

But in truth, the police force wasn't sure why Zeta wanted to arrest him. But did they need a reason? Anyone causing chaos on Vadir had to be arrested first. Who knew if you were sent by some faction to cause trouble on Vadir?
