Chapter 121 - Chapter 120: Kurt's Swarm

While B1 was still explaining Kurt's deeds, his ship arrived.

Around the Artis Star, a group of mechanical Hydralisks and mechanical Mutalisks, even some mechanical Overlords and mechanical Brood Lords, patrolled the outer reaches of the planet.

Sitting in the cockpit, Kurt clearly saw the dense mechanical swarm on the radar, even beginning to approach his ship.

But Kurt also felt something on all the Zerg that no one else in this star system had felt: something connecting them. He could feel it; it was psionics.

Instantly, Kurt's psionics began to connect the entire mechanical swarm from his brain. The closer the mechanical swarm was, the faster it came under Kurt's control. The mechanical Mutalisks and mechanical Hydralisks, originally waiting to attack, instantly became the most loyal hounds. After all, Kurt's psionics were now completely comparable to the Queen of Blades, and now his swarm had arrived.

Kurt could control and communicate with them in his mind.

"All swarm, return to Artis Star." As Kurt sent his signal through his mind, the swarm instantly understood, returning to the mechanical giant spires, where they became still.

Seeing the mechanical swarm, which should have been protecting the planet, return to the giant spires, the adjutant guessed that his Commander had already arrived at Artis Star and had even completed controlling the mechanical swarm.

"Indeed, letting the swarm develop freely was the correct decision. After all, the Commander will need a powerful army, an army that only obeys him. After all, human hearts change, everything in the world changes, but the mechanical swarm will always serve the Commander." The adjutant expressed his views within the initial mechanical Zerg nest.

Kurt's ship landed on the surface of Artis Star. The adjutant, accompanied by the B1s, came to greet him, and beside him was a mechanical Zerglings.

"It's a pleasure to see you, Commander. After all, only you can control the current swarm. This will be your swarm."

"I presume it's not that simple. I sensed a single individual, currently the only one not under control. He seems to possess super intelligence. Has the swarm actually developed such a thing now?" Kurt didn't understand why that entity hadn't submitted to him yet.

The adjutant suddenly felt a bit awkward, as he was responsible for creating this individual.

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be Abathur. He was created by my super AI for the swarm to assist my plan, but he was lost during the swarm's first loss of control. He has now built the strongest faction on the entire planet and has even begun the creation of mechanical Leviathan. Like the original Abathur, he is a powerful Zerg mechanical engineer and has created more mechanical swarm." The adjutant explained the situation as he understood it.

"Abathur, interesting. Perhaps he truly is the catalyst for the swarm becoming a true faction. But before that, I will definitely conquer him."

Kurt, led by the swarm, headed to Abathur's mechanical main nest. Sitting on a rampaging mechanical Ultralisk, Kurt felt an unusual sensation, one he had never experienced before. The swarm felt completely integrated with him, like his own limbs, to be used at will.

Kurt patted the Ultralisk's large tusks and laughed happily. This was his original self. Since becoming the leader of Mandalore, he had rarely laughed like this; most of his smiles were fake. But for future freedom, he had to hide his current self.

With the Ultralisk at full speed, they quickly arrived in front of Abathur's mechanical main nest. Kurt jumped off the Ultralisk and, surrounded by the swarm, walked into the main nest.

At that moment, all the swarm in the main nest except Abathur instantly stopped their movements, coming to Kurt's side to welcome their king.

Abathur saw Kurt before him. He had already learned most of Kurt's story from the B1s earlier and knew that this was the true mastermind behind their creation. He also felt a strong urge to submit to him.

"You are the will of the swarm, and I am the body of the swarm. Together, you and I will become the true swarm, and we will become the masters of the Universe!" Abathur was resisting Kurt's current control commands.

Kurt looked at the mechanical Abathur, who was much taller than him.

"Perhaps you haven't understood your position. Initially, you were just a smart AI, merely a Zerg mechanical engineer. If you continue to be stubborn, then I will only forcibly control you, and by then, you will become a new you, an engineer who works more for me."

Kurt spoke words that were extremely terrifying to Abathur. After all, he had already truly evolved into a new species and did not want to die so easily. And for Kurt, an evolved artificial intelligence might indeed be very rare, perhaps even irreplaceable, but what he needed was a helper, not a free swarm that was beyond his control.

"3"

Kurt began counting down, "2"

At this point, Abathur had already felt Kurt's immense power through psionics. In front of him, he was just an ant, and Kurt was the Leviathan.

"My dear Master! I will submit to you. Your will is the will of the swarm and will be the direction of my progress!" Abathur had already connected his psionics to the swarm, accepting Kurt's control.

"A very smart choice. The swarm will be controlled and developed by you. The surrounding planets can be chosen by the swarm for survival. All of this will be decided by you." Kurt directly shared control of the mechanical swarm with Abathur, making him the leader of the swarm.

Abathur was ecstatic. After all, before this, he had envisioned defeating all the swarm himself to ultimately become the controller, and now, he had achieved this dream so simply.

"Then allow me to introduce the swarm's most powerful species—the Leviathan!" Abathur described the future scale of Leviathan hatching.

A super-long length of three thousand meters, a species literally born for war, with unstoppable transport and offensive capabilities!

Kurt nodded, asking how long it would take to create one of these.

"As long as resources are sufficient, it will only take three months to continuously produce Leviathan! And in the future, I will research more species to modify the swarm, making it the strongest!" Abathur spoke of his dream, as he was created for this very duty.

Kurt felt that the future of the swarm would become his most important power. After all, this was different from both the bionic Zerg and the mechanical Zerg; it had already become a new faction in the Galaxy.

What a scene it would be in the future to use an invincible mechanical swarm against the Yuuzhan Vong, who most hated mechanical technology! The strongest against the strongest, a mechanical swarm originally created based on the strongest biological blueprint, fighting against the Yuuzhan Vong, the strongest biological technology in the Galaxy during the Galactic Civil War.

Who would be the strongest organism!

However, it would take at least many years to know this result.

Kurt watched these mechanical swarm on Artis. As the Lord of the swarm, he also wanted to spend more days with these bugs. He even rode a mechanical Leviathan for the first time to another planet to personally witness the mechanical swarm's erosion of a planet. Its power was not much weaker compared to the original swarm.

A kind of nanobot similar to creep spread across the planet's surface, and mechanical Drones also used their bodies to build new mechanical Hatcheries, serving as the Zerg's main base for the entire planet, eroding all its resources.
