(Jin looks around at the new place, a vision of his past, his childhood. The cool crisp fall air, the changing leaves, pumpkins galore. It's Halloween morning 10 years prior, his mother baking blueberry muffins in the kitchen, his father having already left for a new dungeon opening, little did he know…that would be the last time he ever saw his father. Hana rings his doorbell like always walking in for breakfast.)
Jin: so Hana are you ready to go trick or treating today
Hana: yeah obviously what kind of question even is that
(Jins's mother walks up to the table setting a hot,steamy,soft,delicious, fresh blueberry muffin on each of their plates)
Mrs.Takasaki: remember you two don't be out too late tonight
(the two children stuff their faces with the breakfast nodding their heads before walking out of the house. They start walking down the sidewalk not sure what to do and incredibly bored when Hana crouches down picking up an orange leaf looking at it closely, the ridges are jagged and uneven, she holds it up to jin)
Hana: this is super pretty isn't it this is my favorite time of year
Jin: i think you're even cuter
(he hugs her tightly with them both smiling widely at each other not letting go for several minutes, a slight blush playing across both of their cheeks before standing back up and laughing slightly.)
Jin: so where would you like to go today
Hana: hmm…what about the old temple on the mountain i bet that they have spooky decorations up there
(suddenly a new figure shows up behind them Reko Fuji, Hana's older sister)
Reko: hey and just where do you think your going
Hana: up to the top of the mountain
Reko: oh hell no you aren't there are definitely yokai on that mountain and you don't want to get eaten right?
(she was obviously just teasing her little sister hoping that if she said there were yokai on the mountain it would scare her enough to make her stay away from it walking away from the 2 of them deciding to instead watch from a distance in case something happens)
Hana: come on jin let's go please
Jin: ok ok im coming
(they walk up the mountain wondering past countless houses and playing children, the crisp Autumn air filling their lungs brushing against their skin bringing a slight shiver to their bodies as they increase the pace of their movement eventually reaching the bottom of the mountain with tori gates standing tall being at an even level with the trees at the sides of it)
Hana: wow Jin there are soo many it's basically endless
Jin: yeah they might go all the way up the mountain…this might take a while to reach the shrine
Hana: What are you tired already?
( she sticks her tongue out at Jin, her lips glistening as she straightens her face, taking a first step into the near endless row of tori gates, each step brings them further to their destination. Not feeling the immense danger they were walking towards they continue on with their path. A few hours of walking later they finally reach the top, completely exhausted and out of breath from walking up the mountain to the abandoned shrine.)
Hana: Jin…we did it…we made it
Jin: yeah thats right… lets see inside
(the 2 children run inside the old decrepit rundown shrine, rotting wood creaking beneath their footsteps, as they walk inside the door slams shut behind them, a corpse of rotting flesh and broken bones covered in vines crawls out from beneath the floorboards one eye missing, pockets of puss and spores covering his decomposed skin, he stands up slowly and crooked.)
Osiris: you foolish brats will be my sustenance just like all these monks
(he slowly shuffles towards them, he raises his left jagged hand with numerous veiny green vines wrap around them both climbing up their bodies, a light blue aura being drained from them into the vines)
Osiris: you 2 have massive pools of senjutsu for your age(breathes heavily) perhaps enough to restore me to the power i once wielded
(just at that moment Reko jumps into the shrine holding a small knife, she runs up to Hana trying to cut her free of the vines however as she gets within mere inches of her little sister 2 seeds shoot from Osiris's fingers, immediately piercing through her heart killing her as all the nutrients is sucked from her body having been transferred to Osiris, his body healing, gaining muscle obtaining a youthful appearance, white hair, blue eyes)
Osiris: Yes, this is amazing!!! I can feel it…surging into me!!!
(Hana's body falls from the roots, she crawls over to Reko's body, the blood covering her hands as she holds her older sister's body close to her own. As Jin tries to break free Osiris kicks Hana across the room, she gasps for air as she gets sent flying through the air)
Osiris: You bore me…maybe ill go down to that little town and kill every last person in order to enhance my power in whatever way possible
(from the deceased body of Reko a tower of white flesh looms over it, 1 giant eye and endless rows of sharp teeth line its face as the Onryō crawls off the body and onto Hana's back it speaks only one word)
Reko: HANA?
(it then shifts its gaze to the monster that had killed her and struck her little sister)
Reko: YOU HURT HANA!!!!
(the screaming of Reko deafened the room as her eye locks onto Osiris and with one simple strike she kills it, not done with the thing which hit her sister she began pulverizing the corpse of Osiris, each blow tearing it further into nothing but an unknoticeable pile of red and green chunks of flesh. A few months later with Reko watching over Hana she went to the association meeting with the supreme commander Daigo at the time he was 136 years old, his body wrinkled and scarred yet brimming with power his white hair a clear signal of his fading youth)
Daigo: Hana Fuji due to your single handed annihilation of a S-rank monster i hereby promote you to the rank of captain
(she had become the youngest captain to ever be in the association to that point in time at just 8 years old)
