As Marcus was becoming the world's most famous individual, something else was happening in the Middle East.
"Princess Marina, it would seem that you are pregnant." The Princess Doctor declared in a plain tone while looking at the results.
The black-haired Princess's world at that moment stopped as her mind muted everything around her.
"Princess?"
"..."
"Princess!"
"Oh? Yes…" Marina snapped out as she tried to process the information.
"For now, you should take it easy with your responsibilities and tell your man the great news." The woman smiled at her Princess, making the Princess smile back; her smile was a strained one.
The Doctor had no idea who the lucky person was, but it would be a great day for the Kingdom, which was recovering by the day.
Before long, the doctor left the Princess's room. Once she was gone, the Marina turned pale as she had no idea what to do. Soon enough, she was panicking.
"The news is fantastic!" Shirin smiled, as she was a bit jealous that it was not her who got pregnant. Well, it was not her time of the month when the Commander was visiting…
"How? He is busy! Don't you follow the news? He is close to uniting Africa!
Most of the Rogue Middle Eastern countries are falling in line for the economic benefits. Now imagine I tell him about… this!" Marina declared, then motioned toward her stomach.
Shirin snorted as she shook her head.
"Then you clearly didn't understand what was going on." Her Assistant sighed.
"If he wanted nothing to do with us and just had an affair, he would have demanded to use protection. He is a proud individual, so he would just do it and then leave.
That means he doesn't mind that you carry his child." The sharp-glasses-wearing lady explained with a smirk.
"I do believe he even wanted to impregnate you, as he did with you twice as much as he did with me." Shirin sounded dissapointed as she shook her head. The Assistant wants to change that and give birth to the Commander's child.
"...You think?" Marina wasn't certain; in fact, she was quite nervous.
"Of course, you are a princess. I am sure he will be happy to hear about this." Her Assistant tried to calm her nerves.
"I suggest you just relax and let me do the rest."
"...Fine, I doubt I can stop you anyway." The black-haired Princess sighed as she resigned herself to her fate. It would seem she won't be able to escape the fate that she is sharing with Marcus Anaheim.
"Indeed."
With that said, Shirin went to inform Marcus that he will be a father. Not that the Assistant is aware that this will be his fifth child.
The Emperor will hear about it soon enough, as Shirin gained a direct link to contact him.
~~~
The Developer of Gundam was in his workshop, continuing to run tests on the twin drive system and getting bathed in green particles of the GN drive when he got the message.
"Huh, so she did get pregnant," Marcus commented the moment he read the news.
"...Pregnant? Who?" Christina overheard him speak.
"Princess of Azadistan. It appears our fling got something." He smiled as he recalled having his way with Marina.
"Y-You impregnated Marina Ismail!?" The brown-haired CIC commented in surprise! She didn't expect to hear that something like that had happened! It's simply out of the blue!
"Well, yeah, that happens when you have a princess for a week and daily," Marcus smirked as he casually explained to them what happened.
Christina and Feldt blushed when they heard him say that so casually!
"...But… I mean… There was a civil war going on… and…" The brown-haired girl tried to process how one led to another.
"Indeed, a stressful situation requires a method of relief." The Emperor said with a sagely nod. He was speaking from experience. As someone who has several wives, they assisted him with his stress, which is how he got Kallen Pregnant.
"So…when Celestial Being was trying to calm down the Kingdom… you were working on impregnating their Princess," Feldt concluded for Christina.
"In a way? While your Celestial Being tried to blow things up, I was the one who brought in tech to help the economy.
Marina had no means to pay for all of the technical support, so she AND her assistant decided to use a technique as old as humanity to solve that issue." Marcus explained to them.
"...I see… and now you have a child on the way… are you going to take care of it?" Christina asked several complex emotions to pass through her eyes.
"Of course. My kid." He snorted at her for hinting at it the wrong way.
"Legion, book a trip via Anaheim Corporation to Azadistan. It's time to review the infrastructure I placed there." The Emperor turned aside towards the holograms.
[Understood, arranging a trip for you, Your Majesty.]
"Good." Marcus nodded. He then pondered on what kind of gifts to prepare for his wife-to-be.
"Make it a couple of days from now. I still need to finish this." He looked at the test before him.
Thanks to his political stuff, he never had a chance to finish particle dispersion balancing, but now he has a couple of days off, and it's time to finish this annoying part.
Since the design phase for his Twin Drive system is complete, he finally needs to balance the GN drives so he can move on to working on the Gundam!
"So… you want to balance the GN drives before you leave?" For now, the pair of girls decided to shelve the fact that he impregnated a Princess and focus on the job at hand.
"Yeah, the gundams are taken apart, and it feels like the only thing missing before I put the new mobile suit together is these two!" He points at two cone-shaped engines in the middle of his workshop.
He has tried to balance it out several times now, but they just begin to become imbalanced and stop at maximum output.
'I suppose TRANS-AM is needed in the very end.'
"Legion, can you order storage tanks for GN particles? We are going to TRANS-AM this." The Emperor said after making up his mind.
"...Are you sure? The GN drives could blow up from something like that." Christina said with a worried tone.
"They won't because TRANS-AM is a dispersal method of the particles; all it does is release the particles. Especially when two drives are so close to balancing each other, we need to overcloak them to establish a synchronised link."
"...I guess you are right, I never thought about it this way." The CIC girl commented as she pondered on his words.
[I issued manufacturing orders, Your Majesty; they should arrive tomorrow.]
"Nice. Since we're talking about manufacturing issue orders for parts needed to put Tiranis back together."
[Understood, sir. I am a bit interested. What is the serial model of this machine? It's no longer AGT-01]
Legion brought up a good point as the Emperor pulled out a hologram and checked the databanks. He can tell that Legion is keeping a bunch of files on this project under the name: 'Name in Development'.
"Right… can't name a Gundam like that."
Marcus chuckled at how bad the machine would sound if it were branded: 'Name in Development'.
Not that he was far away from naming it.
He typed it ATDGT-0000 Alpha Tiranis, with Alpha typed in Greek letters. He went with a symbol because Gundam 1, named 'Ai' or 'Eye' Gundam, used a symbol, so he went with a symbol as well, only a Greek one, as the Byzantine Emperor developed it.
"Four zeros?" Christina saw the name.
"Indeed, the full name of this machine is Anaheim Twin Drive Gundam Throne Double 0 Alpha Tiranis."
"...That is a mouthful one…" She grimaced at how long the name was.
"Because it's technically three machines in one development cycle.
Celestial Being's machine, Anaheim Machine and a new prototype Twin GN Drive machine.
Three things at once." He explained to her.
"...I see… anyway, we will return to our jobs, I have this feeling a lot of work is coming soon."
"We will see."
Marcus looked at the name of his machine and the rendered image below it.
'The only thing I need is to develop rifles.'
Since he has time to wait for those containers, he decided to check out his designs.
The 3rd-generation rifles don't work here at all, as they utilise regular energy, whereas his new machine is a pure GN beast.
"Let's see…" He began flicking the parts away from the design, then switched in Celestial Being's tech.
'Wait, we can keep Sakuradite.'
Marcus smirked as he realised that he could keep the sakuradite railing in the barrel and the trigger mechanism.
The energy transfer will be a complete 100%!
[Sir, what you are designing is not a beam rifle but a mass particle accelerator. If you use this in an MS combat, it would be classified as a colony or space fortification buster.]
"Even better!"
Marcus wasn't done, as he added transformation capabilities by improving the frame.
At the very end, he even went with the Gauss splash damage model for a wide burst instead of keeping it as single line damage only.
The more he added means to blow up things, the more he was motivated to improve the design. This was the perfect time to do that.
'Umm… no wonder we lost this guy is just a weapons freak…' Christina was a bit concerned when she heard that Legion is being the voice of reason and not the humans.
"...I am a bit concerned." The brown-haired girl said to Feldt.
"I am sure it will be fine. We are on the same side. You should be worried for his enemies." The pinkette tried to reason.
"That's the thing, who is the enemy?"
Feldt shrugged at that.
~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~
One of Marcus's spaceships arrived with a large container under its belly. Inside the container, there were several empty tank-like containers designed to hold GN particles.
Legion bots designed for large-item carrying walked over, collected these items, and brought them to the GN testing ground in the middle of the workshop.
Once there, the humanoid-shaped bots took over. Marcus was there as well, assisting with the assembly.
'This is amazing! I want a workshop like that!' Christina commented to herself that this was the third time she had seen it, and each time her desire to have something like that in the future grew.
It's like a toy box for a child, only that the toy box can make items!
'Maybe a sandbox is a better term?' She pondered for a bit as the improvement work was done.
"...Umm… should we really do this in a closed-up space? We have no idea what such a massive amount of particles will do to us." Feldt wasn't quite aware of what the particles would do to people; after all, she was part of the intervention cell of Celestial Being, not the development team, which knew the full extent of the particles' traits.
"This is on purpose, Feldt. These particles are what will turn me, and in turn you two most likely, into Innovators." He smirked at them.
"...Umm… yeah… shouldn't you do that with your wives and close family members?" Christina wasn't sure this was a great idea…
"I wish. Euphemia and Marrybell are busy in the Government. Milly is back in our reality; she said she was bored with this place.
Well, Jeanne could be here, but I told her to watch over Euphemia as she needs more security now that she is in a government job." He explained to them.
These two should be aware that Wang Liu Mei is doing her thing as well, and that the Heiress told them she will be busy with her asset management, which will be transferred to him.
"...So it leaves you two." The Emperor smirked a bit, making them nervous.
Fellow ginea pigs… fantastic…
"Anyway! Legion, wrept it up! Activate the GN reactors and fill them up with the particles!" Marcus motioned with his hand, and the drives roared to life, and the rings inside of them began to rotate and generate green particles.
The containers began to fill with compressed GN particles; they were designed using data from Veda and the Gundams.
They were like Gundam 'muscles'. About ten minutes later, the containers were filled up. Since the syncro rate is not perfect, the engines operate at less than 60% of their rated output.
So it takes time, but eventually, they were ready for the main test.
