Chapter 203 - CHAPTER 60 The Last Breath of the Void

CHAPTER 60 The Confluence of Five Elements and the Last Breath of the Void

The courtyard of Nabhgadh had now become a living divya stahal (temple). The presence of Margdarshak Vishrayan had filled the air with a sharp fragrance. As if the smell of icy mountains and ancient books had mixed. Time had not stopped. It had stopped breathing.

Nirag lay on the ground. His body was twisted in a strange way, as if invisible ropes were tying him. The soil under his back was turning black, as if his touch itself was spreading poison.

Margdarshak looked at Agni. Agni face was devastated. Dark circles under his eyes, lips dry and cracked. His hands were trembling, and the tears falling from his eyes had left lines of salt on his cheeks.

Agni.

Margdarshak voice did not echo in the air. It resonated in the bones.

Get up. The body you are seeing is a pile of soil. The one you call son is today a prisoner of darkness. When duty wavers, emotions become thorns. Today your son is dead. Now only a warrior duty remains. Connect your soul with the elements. And deliver justice.

The words were not words. They were needles. Every word pierced Agni skin. His eyes widened. Then narrowed. He raised his head. Slowly, as if lifting a burden.

His eyes, which a moment ago were red fire, now turned into white flame. Calm. Ruthless. Emotionless.

Nirag, lying on the ground, looked at Varunya. Black venom was boiling in his eyes.

Varunya. You. Betrayed me.

His voice was so harsh that the particles of air trembled. You think you can destroy me. I will not leave you. Not in this birth, not in any other.

Varunya raised her blue eyes. There was no water in them. Ice.

Andhak Void. Your anger will now just become a memory. I did not betray you. I sided with the truth that you could never understand.

Agni moved forward. He touched the dust of Margdarshak feet to his forehead. The dust glowed, as if powder of stars. He picked up the sword Justice again. This time his grip was like iron.

He closed his eyes.

And did not speak. He sang.

Earth. Water. Fire. Sky. Air.

With every word, the sword kept changing.

Earth. The sword turned brown, heavy like stone.

Water. Turned blue, waving.

Fire. Turned red, blazing.

Sky. Turned white, transparent.

Air. Turned green, light like the wind.

Now the sword was a living rainbow. The embodiment of the five elements.

Tears were still flowing from Agni eyes. But his face was like stone.

Nirag. my child. Forgive me.

He swung the sword in the air. Not slowly. With an unshakeable motion.

Boom.

No sound. It was the noise of creation. As soon as it hit the black eye on Nirag forehead, white lightning came from the sword. As if thousands of suns had exploded together.

Nirag body flew in the air. A scream came from his mouth. Not human. Not even an animal. The scream of the void.

Black smoke began to come from every pore of his body. Thick, sticky, like melted pitch. That smoke began to swirl in the air, changing shape. Taking the form of a giant demon.

I will return. I am immortal.

The voice echoed in the air. But immediately cut off.

The five warriors. The five elements. The five bindings.

Akshansh threw his lightning chains. Blue links flashed in the air, caught Andhak Void.

Anvay raised soil and stone. A brown wall rose, surrounding Andhak Void.

Aksh light made a golden cage. Andhak Void smoke hit it and began to smolder.

Kalpit made thousands of mirrors in the air. In every mirror, Andhak Void own image appeared. He began to run from himself.

Vedika turned the green golden light into living ropes. Those ropes began to bind Andhak Void.

Andhak Void was trapped in the middle of the sky. In an invisible net. The more he struggled, the tighter the net became.

Below, Nirag body began to fall from the air. Like a stone, without any movement.

Agni breathing stopped. His heart beat once, then stopped.

Then.

Varunya ran. Ice flowers blooming under her feet. She jumped in the air. A blue line.

And a moment before hitting the ground. She caught Nirag.

Nirag eyes were closed. Face pale, but calm. A faint warmth of breath was coming from his chest.

He was free from Andhak Void.

Margdarshak raised his hand. A gesture.

Agni. Now. His roots are still in the air. Burn them.

Agni poured his entire soul into that sword. He raised the sword. And swung.

Om. Tat Sat.

No sound. It was an echo that came from the bones of the universe.

White flame came from the sword. So bright that everyones eyes closed.

The flame surrounded Andhak Void black smoke. Then swallowed it.

Andhak Void screamed. No sound, just a vibration.

Then. Silence.

The black smoke scattered. Particle by particle. Bright points appeared in the air, then disappeared.

The void that wanted to swallow everything. Today itself became void.

As soon as the last black ray went out, a rain of flowers began from the sky. No, a rain of light. Every drop fell to the ground and became a small flower.

Agni lowered the sword. His body was trembling. Drenched in sweat. He looked once at Nirag lying in Varunya lap.

A smile appeared on his lips. Broken, but calm.

Victory. Is achieved.

The next moment, his eyes turned upward. His knees bent. And he fell. Slowly, as if a tree was uprooting from its roots.

Final scene.

Akshansh, Anvay, Aksh, Kalpit. Everyone came running.

Varunya laid Nirag on the ground, then bent near Agni.

Margdarshak raised his hand. Blessing. But in his eyes was a glimpse of the future. Concern. Warning.

The war was over.

Nabhgadh was saved.

But the price of victory was written in the breaths of its warriors.
