Hans collected the scattered meteorite shards on each floor, and the psychic pressure weakened with every one he stored; color slowly returned to Adrian and Dmitri's faces as their bodies relaxed.
Yet the mysterious shards still worried Hans, especially if more of them were scattered near the routes his growing army would eventually have to clear.
