"What makes us turn on each other enough to go to war?"
That was the first question Instructor Maas asked as soon as she had given a brief introduction of herself. There was no preamble, no talking about what this class was about since the name of the class was the explanation itself, at least according to her.
Her smaller stature paced across the room. She climbed up the steps that led to the very back of the hall where she came to a halt. She stood there, one hand on her hips as she waited expectantly.
Her question was thought-provoking. One that left Kenneth to ponder its nature and its answer. But that was the problem with the question. It didn't have an exact answer, as many factors could lead people to wage war.
After a few seconds had gone by, someone raised their hand. "You over there. Go ahead."
The student cleared their throat. "Uh…Misunderstandings can often lead to wars."
