There was a time when Kenneth, like most children his age, used his limbs and feet to play.
For him, he liked playing soccer as it was his father's favourite sport. One of his fondest memories was going to the park as the sun was about to set. This was around the time of day when it was the coolest and the perfect weather to break a sweat.
He'd throw passes while he listened to his father talking about his day or his travels and would learn new tricks whenever he could.
Even as a thirteen year-old kid pumped full of hormones and energy, he could never beat his father. He was too skilled. And now that he thought about it, he never would. Kenneth shook those feelings away as he faced Lucien. Yes, soccer had been the thing that brought him the most joy. And it was funny how quickly all of that had changed.
