Lucien's eyes glowed faintly as Argon roared to life, ready to avenge its master as the shadow clone's strike came at him.
The strike came low, aimed straight for his ribs. Lucien twisted sideways, but the shadow pivoted with him, blade following the movement like it had predicted the dodge.
Of course it had. It was copying Xander. Doing exactly as he would.
Lucien pushed off the ground and spun. Using the undertow spiral technique now, his body turned with the attack instead of against it, redirecting the clone's momentum just enough for him to slip past its guard. His sword swept upward in a tight arc.
The blade connected. "Fuck," he muttered under his breath.
The final clone split apart and dissolved into drifting smoke.
