Chapter 360 - Chapter 359 Unfortunately, He Was Born At The Wrong Time

"Is it really that delicious?" Hearing Warren's praise, Tony couldn't help but pick up a spoon, scoop up a spoonful of Savory Tofu Pudding, and put it in his mouth. His eyes lit up immediately.

The tofu pudding slid down his tongue as it entered his mouth, and the delicate aroma of the tofu pudding and the savory flavor of the sauce melted together instantly between his lips and teeth.

A few simple side dishes are the finishing touch, and when paired with the sweet tofu pudding, the taste is surprisingly refreshing and delicious. After swallowing, the subtle bean flavor lingers in the mouth for a long time, fragrant but not greasy.

"What is this made of? How can it taste so good! Ordinary soybeans could never make such a delicious and smooth dish! It's just too good!" Tony stared wide-eyed at the tofu pudding in front of him, its unbelievable deliciousness completely overturning his imagination of food.

Tony couldn't resist picking up the spoon and scooping up another spoonful, enjoying the delicious tofu pudding spreading in his mouth. He couldn't stop eating it, one spoonful after another.

He completely forgot about finding fault, nitpicking, and slander. He was so engrossed in the delicious tofu pudding that he hadn't felt this way in a long time. It was a special feeling to simply enjoy the food without any ulterior motives.

"Those two fat grandpas say no, but their bodies tell a different story." Amy muttered, holding the Ugly Duckling and watching the two devour their food.

The guests smiled knowingly upon hearing this. They had expected these two to nitpick in various ways, but they were won over after just one bowl of tofu pudding. The speed at which they were proven wrong was incredibly fast.

"Let them experience the pain of only being able to eat one serving. The only thing about Boss Mai's restaurant that makes me want to give it a bad review is that the tofu pudding is limited to one serving per person." Harrison muttered, panting heavily. He had already eaten most of the medium-sized grilled fish in front of him and was looking at Warren and Tony with great interest.

"Phew, this is so delicious! Give me another serving of Sweet Tofu Pudding!" Warren put down his spoon and said to Yabemia, who had just walked over.

"I also want another serving of Savory Tofu Pudding, no, two servings!" Tony also put down his spoon and chimed in.

"Tony, I think you should try Sweet Tofu Pudding. It has a subtle tofu aroma, and it tastes really good with syrup. Adding salty syrup completely ruins the sweet flavor." Warren said earnestly to Tony.

"President, I think you should try the Savory Tofu Pudding before you say that. This Savory Tofu Pudding has pickled mustard greens and dried shrimp, and the taste is refreshing, perfectly complementing the fragrance of the tofu pudding. Tofu pudding itself has a sweet taste, and with the addition of thick syrup, it's hard to imagine what kind of cloyingly sweet taste it would be." Tony shook his head, looking at Warren to express his objection.

"Excuse me, guests, but each person is limited to one serving of tofu pudding per meal." Yabemia said softly, watching the two arguing.

"What?"

The two looked at Yabemia simultaneously, their voices rising slightly.

"Why is there a purchase limit? It's not like we're not paying. I won't order two servings then. Just give me another serving of Savory Tofu Pudding." Tony frowned at Yabemia and said. If it weren't for the fact that they had ordered quite a lot of other things, he felt he could eat ten bowls of this delicious tofu pudding!

"Since the customers have a demand, and the restaurant also has tofu pudding, why not sell it to us?" Warren asked, equally puzzled, unwilling to only be able to eat one bowl.

"This is the restaurant's rule, and it's also stated on the menu. Please understand and comply." Yabemia said earnestly, straightening her posture. Over this short period, her initial trepidation had gradually transformed into confidence. These were rules set by Mai Ge, and there was a reason for them.

Warren flipped open the menu and glanced at it, and saw that it did indeed say one serving per customer. Warren suddenly wondered if Mai Ge could combine the two dishes and get them into the top 30 on the list.

"Okay, then please bring up the rest of our dishes." Warren raised his hand to stop Tony, who was about to speak, and smiled at Yabemia.

"Okay, please wait a moment." Yabemia nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

"President, we should persevere." Tony said, somewhat unwillingly.

"Persist in letting others see you completely addicted after eating it, even to the point of throwing a tantrum?" Warren gave Tony a deep look.

Tony's expression changed slightly. He suddenly remembered what they had come here for today, and that a delicious bowl of tofu pudding had completely captivated him.

Although reason told him this restaurant had no chance of making the list again, but he couldn't help but compare the tofu pudding to the dishes on the list. Even if it couldn't be number one, it was at least in the top five, such deliciousness was simply irresistible.

Warren also waited quietly for the food, his face expressionless, lost in thought.

"Boss Mai's rules are indeed the rules, and even the president of the Catering Association has no room for negotiation."

"I hope they can put Restaurant Mai Mi back on the list tomorrow with a clear conscience, otherwise their conscience must be black."

"That's hard to say, after all, they removed the restaurant from the list without even coming to check it out in person today."

The guests watched this scene with smiles on their faces, finding it quite satisfying to see the president of the Catering Association forced to accept defeat by the restaurant's rules.

Soon, Yang Zhou Fried Rice, Rou Jia Mo, and Braised Chicken Rice were served. The two quickly became engrossed in the new delicacies, enjoying each bite of Rou Jia Mo and Yang Zhou Fried Rice with great pleasure and a happy expression on their faces.

"Burp..."

Warren let out a burp, put down the clay pot bowl he had licked clean with a satisfied look, and then, looking at the bottom of the bowl, which was now completely empty of broth, pushed it a little towards the center of the table with a slightly unnatural expression.

He hadn't felt this way in many years. He thought that by frequenting the upscale restaurants of Aden Square, there was no delicacy in the world he hadn't tasted.

But each dish that arrived brought him completely different flavors, each offering a new experience and feeling, making him eagerly anticipate the next.

He had never eaten rice stir-fried with various ingredients, never eaten Rou Jia Mo with delicious meat sandwiched between two sweet and crispy flatbreads, and never eaten braised chicken cooked with shiitake mushrooms.

And all these dishes were made by the same chef, and they were all so delicious. This owner is simply a genius!

"If it were twenty years ago, I would probably have ranked all the dishes in this restaurant from first to fifth." Warren glanced at Mai Ge's back in the kitchen. He was a genius, a genius capable of overturning the entire culinary landscape of Aden Square. Unfortunately, he was born at the wrong time.

"It's so delicious! I'm really looking forward to the Spicy Grilled Fish now." Tony said, putting down his bowl with anticipation.
