Chapter 225 - Chapter 50. Beisht

Chapter 50. Beisht

At Guyun Stone Forest, dark clouds gathered, as if a storm were imminent.

This familiar scene made Futsu Mitama and Shenhe frown slightly, while Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Traveler, and Paimon had not yet reacted.

When Futsu Mitama and Shenhe had traveled to Inazuma, they had seen such a scene above the ocean—the prelude to a coming storm. It was not a good sight, and even encountering it on land would cause most people to feel uneasy.

However, they were no longer who they once were. Now, one had already reached the level of a demon god, while the others possessed strength comparable to the Adeptus of Liyue during the Archon War. Looking at the storm gathering over Guyun Stone Forest, both of them sensed something unusual.

It was Authority.

Yes, this phenomenon was caused by Authority. Not long ago, the direction of Guyun Stone Forest had still been clear, yet within a short time it had become overcast. On the continent of Teyvat, such a situation could only be explained by the intervention of a god's Authority.

"Wow! It looks like it's going to rain over there!"

Paimon widened her eyes as she looked toward Guyun Stone Forest in the distance, her tone filled with concern.

"Klee, Albedo, and Hu Tao won't become drenched, will they? But if we go over there now, won't we also become drowned rats?"

Clearly, Paimon was worried about both the three people over there and about herself.

"Something's wrong." Sangonomiya Kokomi reacted at this moment, narrowing her eyes slightly.

Although her current condition was not good, it was far from the point where she would ignore what was happening in front of her. As the Divine Priestess and leader of Watatsumi Island, her sense of danger was far from weak.

"Yes." The Traveler also nodded slightly, her tone becoming serious. "We need to go over there quickly."

Paimon, however, still did not sense anything unusual. She scratched her head, looking troubled.

"Go over quickly? That won't do. Look at those dark clouds—it's going to rain heavily. Ah, I didn't bring an umbrella. Traveler, did you?"

As she spoke, Paimon suddenly seemed to think of something. Her eyes lit up as she looked at Futsu Mitama.

"Oh right, Futsu Mitama, can you disperse those dark clouds? Can you cut them apart with one slash right now?!"

In some strange ways, Paimon's thinking was always extremely quick. In order to avoid getting soaked, she directly placed her hopes on Futsu Mitama. In her view, with his strength, a single strike would be enough to disperse the storm clouds. After all, he was already at the level of a god, and even a casual attack from him would be earth-shattering.

"Paimon, stop talking."

The Traveler already felt somewhat embarrassed. While everyone else had sensed that something was wrong, Paimon was still thinking about how not to get wet. This was clearly inappropriate.

"What's wrong?"

Paimon tilted her head, completely unable to understand why she was being stopped. In her view, asking Futsu Mitama for help was not a problem at all.

They were already familiar with each other, and this was not a difficult matter for him. He was both the next Electro Archon and someone recognized by Rex Lapis. Within Liyue, he could be considered an existence that could act freely without restriction. Dealing with an impending storm should not be anything unusual.

Previously, through the Chat Group, Paimon had already learned that Futsu Mitama had done many things in Inazuma—slaying sea beasts, dispersing storms, resolving ley line disturbances, and various other feats.

Although those actions had been for the purpose of establishing his identity and gathering faith, the fact remained that he was capable of doing them. Now that he had also obtained Geo Authority, shouldn't he be able to do the same here?

"It's nothing." Futsu Mitama smiled slightly. He looked toward the dark clouds above Guyun Stone Forest and said calmly, "Let's go. We should hurry over. Otherwise, that fellow over there will escape."

As his words fell, the Chakra Desiderata appeared behind him, and in the next instant, his figure disappeared from where he stood.

"I'll go first." Shenhe spoke as well, crushing a talisman in her hand as her figure vanished from sight.

"Me too." Although Kokomi's expression remained somewhat strained, there was a faint trace of anticipation in her eyes. She used Hydro Elemental power, turning into a stream of light as she rushed toward Guyun Stone Forest.

The Traveler did not hesitate either. Without another word, she circulated Anemo power and quickly followed.

Seeing this, Paimon immediately stopped worrying about umbrellas and hurried after the Traveler.

At Guyun Stone Forest, slightly earlier.

After throwing out the bombs, Klee watched the results with sparkling eyes. Seeing so many fish blasted into the air filled her with excitement. She had always wanted to fish with bombs, but in Mondstadt, Master Jean had always restrained her.

Even when Kaeya occasionally helped distract Master Jean, whenever Klee prepared to act, Master Jean's voice would somehow appear from nowhere, calling out "Klee!" and stopping her.

Each time, she could only give up unwillingly.

Now, with Sister Hu Tao's support, she could finally fish with bombs to her heart's content.

Because of this, Klee immediately took out her seventh-generation improved Jumpy Dumpty for fishing. The one she had just used was only the sixth generation, and she felt that its power was still insufficient and could not produce the effect she wanted. With the addition of the talismans given by Sister Hu Tao, the power should be even greater.

Her eyes shone brightly as she carefully attached the talisman to the Jumpy Dumpty, already eager to try it.

At this moment, Hu Tao and Albedo were still collecting fish from the surface of the sea.

Hu Tao murmured, "How long has this child been holding back? Just bombing fish normally, and she's already this happy."

Albedo rubbed his forehead. In reality, Klee had not gone bomb fishing for nearly half a year. Although she had done many other things during that time, such as following others to clear hilichurl camps or nearly setting forests ablaze, those incidents had only made Jean more vigilant. Now, whenever Klee showed signs of sneaking away, Jean would immediately appear.

Thinking of this, Albedo could not help but sigh. Compared to before, Jean now had more time to personally keep an eye on Klee, which made things even stricter for her.

"Sigh~ let her have some fun here," Albedo thought, feeling that Klee had indeed been holding back for a long time.

Hu Tao nodded with a smile. "That's right. If we can't even satisfy a child's wish, then we adults are doing something wrong."

Albedo glanced at her but said nothing.

Neither of them noticed that deep beneath the sea, a pair of blue eyes had already opened.

Beisht had been quietly lurking in these waters. After being struck by the Electro Archon some time ago, she had returned here and concealed her presence. She wanted to approach the place where Osial was sealed, but due to recent activity from the Adeptus and others, she had not dared to get too close.

Originally, she had planned to remain here and wait.

However, the recent explosions had awakened her.

Not knowing whether it was an accident or a probe, she cautiously extended one of her heads upward to investigate.

At that moment, several Jumpy Dumpties sank down in front of her.

She looked at them, unable to determine what they were. Their aura was weak and seemed incapable of harming her.

Then, the expressions on the Jumpy Dumpties changed. The talismans began to glow with a strange red light.

The next moment—

"Boom—!!!"

A violent explosion erupted underwater, and a powerful shockwave spread in all directions. Even Beisht's massive body was pushed back by the impact.

Her eyes widened as anger surged within her.

In her perception, she had been discovered—and attacked.

This was unacceptable.

The Authority left behind by Osial surged as she mobilized her full power. The surrounding sea began to churn violently, and the storm above Guyun Stone Forest rapidly took shape.

Above the surface, Klee was still watching the results, her expression filled with excitement.

But soon, she frowned slightly.

"No, this isn't right." Albedo frowned, and he immediately stepped in front of Klee, a sword appearing in his hand.

Director Hu also took down the homa she had been carrying on her back, her expression tinged with astonishment as she spoke, "My Lord of Geo, this is truly surprising."

They had all felt it—the rapidly changing weather. One moment it had been clear and calm, yet in less than two seconds, the atmosphere had shifted into something heavy and oppressive, as though a storm were about to descend.

In the distance, a dark shadow rose rapidly from the sea, and an indescribable pressure spread outward, pressing against everything in its vicinity.

Both Albedo and Director Hu sensed it clearly: a powerful enemy was approaching. The presence alone signaled imminent danger.

"Bang—!!!"

At that moment, the sea surface exploded, and Beisht emerged into view. She looked toward Klee, Albedo, and Director Hu standing on the nearby land, her gaze carrying a trace of confusion.

From her perspective, Liyue had already discovered her and had used underhanded methods to attack her. Although the attack itself had not been particularly powerful, the humiliation of it lingered sharply. That sensation—like being struck repeatedly—was something Beisht could not tolerate.

It was precisely because of this that she had stopped holding back and chosen to surface directly, intending to confront the people of Liyue head-on.

But now…there were only three of them? And one of them was merely a child?

For a brief moment, Beisht could not make sense of what she was seeing.

While Beisht remained caught in that confusion, Albedo and Director Hu exchanged a glance. No words were needed; mutual understanding passed instantly between them.

One of them would take Klee away.

Neither of them feared battle, but Klee's presence imposed a clear limitation. As long as she remained here, they could not act freely.

"Wow!"

Klee, however, showed no trace of fear. She stared at the enormous Beisht, her eyes sparkling with excitement, her entire expression lighting up with delight.

"Such a big water snake! Acting Grand Master Jean and Brother Futsu Mitama will definitely love it!"

As she spoke, she reached into her backpack once more and pulled out a black-and-red Jumpy Dumpty.

This one was different. Its expression was not cheerful, but rather displeased, its face clearly marked with anger.
