Chapter 47. Kokomi is Fainting
Aila had already absorbed all of her memories. However, any information related to the Chat Group—even if momentarily obtained—would be erased almost instantly.
But now, after completely fusing with Aila, she could finally perceive the existence of the Chat Group.
Even within the group's live broadcast, she could see "herself" and the Young Master.
How strange. How magical.
"Can I speak?"
Futsu Mitama's curiosity surfaced at once. At this moment, he was genuinely interested in whether Black Aila could speak without being forcibly pulled into the Chat Group.
Logically speaking, Aila and Black Aila were originally one individual, and now their souls had fused completely.
Since Black Aila could already see the Chat Group then she should be able to speak, shouldn't she?
"..."
Black Aila gently shook her head, indicating that she could not.
Aila then reached out, lightly tapping the translucent interface menus before her.
"I can operate it," she said calmly, "but Black Aila cannot. She is more like a spectator. She can only observe and cannot interfere."
Futsu Mitama stroked his chin thoughtfully upon hearing this, quickly arriving at a conclusion.
This seemed reasonable.
After all, Black Aila was essentially exploiting a loophole.
The two of them now shared a single body, and their souls had become one. Under such conditions, it was only natural that she could "see" the Chat Group through Aila.
However, being able to see did not equate to possessing authority.
She could not speak. She could not interact. She could not use any of its functions.
Merely observing was already the limit.
At that thought, Futsu Mitama's gaze shifted slightly, as something else came to mind.
He turned his attention toward the group live broadcast.
By his estimation, Raiden Ei should have already arrived in Snezhnaya by now.
He found himself somewhat curious.
Curious about the Tsaritsa—the very first existence he had personally removed from the Chat Group.
Truthfully, Futsu Mitama did not harbor much hostility toward her.
When he first transmigrated into this world, all available signs had pointed to one conclusion: Tsaritsa was benevolent toward humanity, yet openly hostile toward the Heavenly Principles. Everything she had done was for the sake of an inevitable war in the future.
This sentiment was not unique to him.
From the attitudes of Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Makoto, Raiden Ei, Maha Rukkhadevata, Focalor, Mavuika, even Columbina the Third seat in Fatui, it was evident that their stance toward the Tsaritsa was, at the very least, not antagonistic.
Perhaps they understood her intentions.
Perhaps they even knew fragments of her eventual fate.
And because of that, the Archons—those who stood at the pinnacle—maintained a relatively tolerant attitude toward her.
Yet even so—none of them were willing to allow the Tsaritsa to remain within the Chat Group.
Because of what she—and more precisely, the Fatui—had done.
That was a boundary the group could not accept.
Even if their ultimate goal was to oppose the Heavenly Principles, their current actions had already caused undeniable harm to the people and interests of other nations.
Mondstadt had suffered from Dottore's human experiments, as well as La Signora's reckless conduct.
In Inazuma, La Signora and Kunikuzushi had interfered in internal affairs, bribed both the Kanjou Commission and the Tenryou Commission, while Dottore's involvement only deepened the existing chaos.
Liyue was no exception.
Although Tartaglia had yet to act overtly, his identity as a Fatui Harbinger meant that the current calm was nothing more than a prelude to a greater storm.
And in Sumeru—
According to the information brought back by Raiden Ei, Scaramouche and Dottore would be active there for at least the next year.
This was precisely why Maha Rukkhadevata had been so eager for Futsu Mitama to travel to Sumeru as soon as possible.
Because she could sense it.
Danger was approaching.
Under such circumstances, if the Tsaritsa had remained within the Chat Group—as the Archon of Snezhnaya—then upon witnessing discussions or actions targeting her own people—
Would she remain silent? Of course not.
She would inevitably interfere.
And so, to preserve the group's internal stability, Futsu Mitama had made a decisive choice.
He expelled her.
Even if she was an Archon, even if her intentions were not entirely malicious—once her presence threatened the harmony of the group, she had to be removed.
Now…
He was simply curious.
Curious about how someone who had been cast out of the Chat Group would respond.
Meanwhile, within the group live broadcast, the fusion of Aila and Black Aila had already concluded.
They had reached the Demon God Realm.
Their two incomplete powers had been fully completed.
This result sent shockwaves through the entire group.
Not only Cyno and Eula, who had only recently joined—even Archons such as Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Makoto, and Maha Rukkhadevata were visibly shaken.
What kind of heaven-defying item was capable of such a feat?
Azhdaha was the first to break the silence, his voice filled with disbelief.
"Did you all see that?! That— that was power, wasn't it? Demon God-level power!"
Guizhong responded more thoughtfully, though her astonishment was evident.
"Yes…it was genuine. It transitioned from incomplete to complete. But how is that even possible?"
Maha Rukkhadevata spoke slowly, her tone measured yet undeniably intrigued. "Theoretically, it should be impossible. And yet—it has occurred. This truly is astonishing."
She paused briefly, then continued. "If this is the effect of that card—then does that mean the two Ailas have completely merged? Is this a roundabout solution to the problem?"
Venti tilted his head slightly, clearly fascinated. "A forced fusion, yet both consciousnesses remain…hmm, that's quite unusual. I'm not entirely sure. Let me observe a bit longer."
Then, with a familiar grin, he turned to another. "@Zhongli, Consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor—what's your take?"
Zhongli's voice was calm, grounded as ever. "From the perspective of their internal conflict, this outcome is indeed optimal. However, two complete Demon Gods' Authority coexisting—I can only hope that no unforeseen complications arise."
Raiden Makoto responded with quiet confidence. "There will be no such complications. The Heavenly Principles have remained dormant for a long time. Mere Demon God-level power is insufficient to awaken her."
"If such power alone were enough—she would have already awakened when Guizhong was revived."
Zhongli let out a faint chuckle. "Heh~ you're right. I had momentarily overlooked that."
Paimon suddenly interjected, her curiosity taking over. "Wait, wait! I'm actually really curious! So, is the current Aila Black Aila, or White Aila?"
"White Aila?" Aila's voice carried a trace of confusion.
Paimon nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! Since you're both Aila now, but one was black and one was white, why not call one Black Aila and the other White Aila?"
Lumine sighed lightly. "Alright, Paimon. That's enough."
She then shifted the topic. "We're close to obtaining the Fantastic Compass. When will you all be coming over?"
Futsu Mitama immediately responded. "Hmm? You're almost there already? We'll head over shortly."
Albedo's voice rose in surprise. "Wait—you're leaving already?!"
"Yes," Futsu Mitama replied without hesitation. "Now that everything here has been resolved, there's no reason to stay."
"Rescuing Black Aila, bringing Bosacius into the group, and resolving the fusion battle—those matters are all complete. Next, we return to Liyue."
Bosacius sounded genuinely startled. "Eh? Saving me was part of the plan as well?"
Guizhong answered with a gentle smile in her tone. "Yes. Since Black Aila mentioned encountering you, we considered the possibility. The chances were quite high—after all, I myself was once only a fragment of a remnant soul."
Azhdaha added in a deep, steady voice. "This Chat Group is extraordinarily unique. You should already feel it. Even without taking any action, your soul is gradually recovering. Because of that, I am now able to temporarily break free from my seal and move about within Liyue."
Bosacius was stunned. "What?! Is that true?! That's incredible! Rex Lapis will surely be pleased to hear this."
After a brief pause, he asked, "But, you're still sealed, aren't you?"
"Yes," Azhdaha replied calmly. "I remain sealed. However, with the existence of this Chat Group…whether I leave or remain makes little difference."
"My main concern is stability. If I were to leave, I cannot guarantee control. Unless Liyue faces imminent danger—I will not act."
Albedo's voice came first, urgent and barely restrained.
"More importantly! Wait for me a moment!! I'm very curious about that space!!! And Bosacius's state! As well as Aila's state!"
Without pause, his tone shifted rapidly as he recalculated.
"Give me half a day—no, three hours!! No! One hour!! I'll be right there!"
Yae Miko's voice followed almost immediately, filled with disbelief.
"??? What are you trying to do? Are you crazy?! You've shortened the time so much, don't tell me you're planning to use a large-scale spatial jump."
Albedo responded calmly, as if stabilizing his thoughts mid-conversation.
"No, I'm just using the Abyss Order's spatial technology. I can quickly reach The Chasm within a short time. But this technology carries some high risks. I don't know if the Abyssal Energy I've simulated will be enough for Klee and me to reach The Chasm. Still, reaching the vicinity of Liyue Harbor will not be a problem."
Guizhong's warning cut in sharply.
"Don't be impulsive!"
Futsu Mitama followed immediately, equally firm.
"Don't be impulsive! I don't want to see Klee and Hu Tao team up and blow up Liyue Harbor!"
Klee's voice erupted in protest, flustered and loud.
"Eh?! Klee wouldn't do that!!! Because setting off fireworks in the city means Klee reports to the confinement room! Klee will never make a mistake again!!!"
Zhongli answered calmly, though with a hint of reservation.
"I believe you, but I don't trust Director Hu."
Keqing gave a short, uneasy agreement. "Yes"
Guizhong then brushed it off lightly, almost amused.
"Actually, Hu Tao is quite like me She has a lot of personality So let's just forget about it~"
Azhdaha rumbled dryly. "Guizhong, you certainly know yourself well."
Bosacius sounded genuinely confused.
"What terrifying thing are they talking about? Why would putting this Klee in Liyue Harbor blow it up, and who is Hu Tao?"
Kuki Shinobu answered in a measured tone. "To put it simply, if Albedo leaves Klee alone in Liyue Harbor, Hu Tao, the current Director of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, might act unpredictably. She has a lively personality, and no one knows what she will do next. If she and Klee are together, one with ideas and the other with execution capability, things become...unstable."
Azhdaha cut in bluntly. "It's simpler to say it's like Guizhong and Morax."
A pause followed.
Guizhong: "?"
Zhongli: "..."
Keqing: "Huh??"
Azhdaha continued, unfazed. "One plans, one executes."
Bosacius nodded slowly. "I see~ then she really can't be left alone in Liyue Harbor."
Futsu Mitama shifted the topic.
"Raiden Ei. How are things with the Tsaritsa?"
Raiden Ei replied calmly. "I've met her. She doesn't seem to know about the Chat Group and thought I came to cause trouble. Of course, she can't beat me right now, so she can only be angry but silent. Her Harbingers are also away, so they can't intervene."
Raiden Makoto asked carefully. "Was she hiding anything?"
Yae Miko warned, "Ei, be careful. She might set a trap. If she doesn't know about the Chat Group but you reveal it, it's dangerous."
Raiden Ei answered without hesitation. "It won't happen. I went there to find an opportunity to kill Dottore again."
Zhongli approved calmly. "That is a reasonable pretext."
Azhdaha added dryly. "He has many segments. Killing him a few times is acceptable."
Maha Rukkhadevata shifted the discussion. "Those who are expelled from the Chat Group seem to have their related memories erased."
Aila responded evenly. "That is how Black Aila is. Even if she learns about the Chat Group through memory fusion, she subconsciously ignores it. Or rather, she sees it and forgets it immediately, as if something erases it."
Venti tilted the topic. "Irminsul?"
Maha Rukkhadevata denied it calmly. "Irminsul is not that absolute."
Cyno then spoke. "I have a question. Besides Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, are there other Archons here? I can deduce some, but I cannot identify them."
Eula murmured softly, "..."
Guizhong then suggested, "Why don't the Archons introduce themselves?"
Paimon nodded quickly. "I was very cautious when I first joined too!"
Lumine: "Were you?"
Paimon: "Yes!!!!"
Venti spoke lightly. "Then I'll start. Anemo Archon—Barbatos."
He then called out casually, "@Raiden Makoto @Raiden Ei @Maha Rukkhadevata @Guizhong @Futsu Mitama, say something."
Guizhong refused immediately. "Why @ me? I'm not the Geo Archon."
Futsu Mitama echoed, "I'm not an Archon either."
Venti replied, "One is the Geo Archon's companion, the other is a future Archon. You should introduce yourselves."
Raiden Makoto reacted instantly. "Futsu Mitama is the next Electro Archon! I am Baal, the former Electro Archon!"
Raiden Ei added calmly. "Current Electro Archon, Beelzebub. Call me Ei."
Maha Rukkhadevata: "Former Dendro Archon."
Guizhong: "Liyue's second Archon, Guizhong."
Futsu Mitama hesitated. "Next Electro Archon…maybe?"
Venti added, amused. "And I can just hand over Anemo if needed."
Azhdaha interjected "Next Geo Archon. Morax said so."
Raiden Makoto reacted. "Hey! Don't fight over it!"
Venti: "Did we agree on that?" Azhdaha: "No."
Maha Rukkhadevata: "..."
Cyno nodded. "Understood."
Eula sighed softly. "This feels unreal."
Futsu Mitama redirected the group. "Paimon, Lumine, have you found the Fantastic Compass?"
Bosacius answered instead. "It has already appeared. These are Boyang's relics."
Shenhe added calmly. "Even after five hundred years, it still functions. Remarkable."
Futsu Mitama ended the exchange. "We'll be there soon."
He then withdrew from the group's live connection and turned toward Aila and Black Aila.
Before him, Aila assessed her condition calmly.
"The power is barely under control. But without combat, we cannot determine its full extent."
With a simple gesture, the mental landscape shifted—snow-covered Inazuma transformed into sunlight. The consciousness space had fully evolved after her Archon-level transition.
Futsu Mitama nodded. "Then after this, you will test it properly. For now, let's go."
He activated the card.
"Fusion Release."
A burst of light unfolded.
Aila's form separated into two—Aila and Black Aila—while a golden fragment condensed into a Fusion card in his hand.
They looked at each other. The forced unity was gone, but a faint connection remained.
Black Aila's gaze lingered briefly before she placed a hand on her chest, expression subtly conflicted. Aila responded by lifting her chin slightly, composed and calm.
"Want to fight?" Black Aila asked.
"Come on," Aila replied.
Dark tendrils rose from Black Aila's shadow. Lightning gathered in Aila's eyes. Their authorities flared simultaneously, now fully complete.
Above them, the consciousness space reacted—storm clouds forming on one side, darkness spreading on the other.
Futsu Mitama stepped between them and gently held both of their hands.
"Let's leave here first. What should we do with this space?"
Both closed their eyes.
Then the space split cleanly into two, one belonging to each of them.
The world faded, leaving all three suspended in a void.
Void.
Time passed steadily, minute by minute, and soon half an hour had gone by.
Perhaps the spatial consciousness had recognized that Futsu Mitama was not someone to provoke lightly. Aside from a few suicidal creatures that hurled themselves through the spatial turbulence to attack, the repulsive force within the space had weakened significantly.
It even seemed to carry a faint intent, as if wanting this troublesome presence to leave as quickly as possible.
With no real obstruction along the way, Futsu Mitama finally arrived at the location where Shenhe and the others were gathered. Through the Chat Group, he already knew they had found the Fantastic Compass. From Bosacius's explanation, he had learned that the compass functioned as a catalyst amplifier, though its activation originally required both Bosacius and Boyang working together.
Logically, Yelan and Xiao should now take that role. However, Yelan understood the limits of her own strength and chose to step back, offering support instead. In the end, the group decided to wait for Futsu Mitama and Aila to return before activating the Fantastic Compass and leaving together.
It was at that precise moment that Futsu Mitama emerged from the spatial tear, only to be met instantly by a Hydro-formed arrow shooting straight toward him.
Black Aila moved first.
Her speed was overwhelming. In a single motion, the dark tentacles formed from the shadows behind her lashed outward and intercepted the incoming arrow, stopping it completely.
"Are you back?" Tartaglia lowered the bow in his hand, a flicker of surprise passing through his eyes as he looked at Black Aila. "That wasn't intentional. We were just clearing the area, and some monsters ambushed us through space earlier. That shot was instinct."
Before his words had fully settled, Black Aila had already moved.
She charged forward without hesitation. The shadowy tentacles behind her writhed as if alive, striking toward Tartaglia with lethal force.
"Good!" Instead of irritation, Tartaglia's eyes lit up with excitement.
He welcomed the attack.
He had always enjoyed fighting strong opponents.
This journey into the Chasm, although it yielded no trace of Azhdaha, had given him numerous battles. Setting aside his mission, the experience alone had been worthwhile.
As for Black Aila, he had long been aware of her existence and had wanted to fight her, yet circumstances had never allowed it. Now, with her initiating the attack herself, it was nothing short of perfect.
Without another word, Tartaglia activated his Delusion, seamlessly channeling both Hydro and Electro Elements.
Black Aila stared at the dual elements, a strange emotion flashing across her eyes. In response, Abyssal Power surged faintly around her.
"Don't kill him," Futsu Mitama reminded her calmly. If Tartaglia died here, the consequences would escalate quickly.
Among the Fatui Harbingers, Tartaglia was the easiest to deal with. Others were far more troublesome.
Scaramouche ignored reason entirely, La Signora was deeply manipulative, and Il Dottore was filled with unpredictable schemes. The rest were no simpler either, from Pulcinella, Pentalone to Pierro to the Knave. Even Sandrone, Katheryn's Creator and Columbina the Moon's Archon, who seemed harmless, was impossible to judge by reasons for now.
Compared to all of them, Tartaglia was straightforward.
If he died here, the blame could be shifted to the spatial consciousness, but the conflict had not reached that level. If it were La Signora or Dottore instead, Futsu Mitama would not hesitate. He would join Black Aila immediately and call for Xiao and Shenhe as well.
Black Aila and Tartaglia moved their battle elsewhere, their clash continuing in the distance.
Meanwhile, Futsu Mitama approached Xiao and Bosacius.
Bosacius's condition had worsened. His form was now semi-transparent, as though it could disperse at any moment.
Without a physical body, he existed only as a soul.
Though the Chat Group was slowly restoring him, the recovery could not keep up with the constant depletion. This space, while special, was not enough to sustain him indefinitely.
"Are you still reluctant?" Futsu Mitama asked.
Xiao nodded faintly. His gaze lingered on Bosacius's fading figure, fully aware that the time to part had come.
He took out the stone Yaksha mask and spoke calmly. "Bosacius—see you next time."
Though his voice remained steady, the reluctance within it was unmistakable.
"Don't be reluctant, Alatus," Bosacius said with a gentle smile. "Compared to Indarias, Menogias, and Bonanus, I am already fortunate."
He paused, his expression dimming slightly.
"We still have a chance to meet again. But they—"
He sighed. If it were possible, he would have saved them all. But according to what he had learned from the group, only those with remnants of soul could be revived. Otherwise, death was final.
This space had preserved him by chance. Others, like the Millelith and the Exorcists, had long since lost even their souls, leaving behind only lingering obsessions.
"There will be a chance," Xiao said firmly. "There will be a possibility. You've been revived. One day, they will return. I believe that day will come."
For the first time, Xiao truly believed in miracles.
Bosacius glanced briefly at Futsu Mitama, then chuckled softly. "I see~ If that's the case, then I will look forward to it as well, Alatus."
With that, he closed his eyes and willingly entered the stone Yaksha mask.
The conversation ended.
Xiao put the mask away and turned to Futsu Mitama. "Are we leaving now?"
Then, after a brief pause, he added, "Should we destroy this space?"
Yelan's gaze shifted as well. The question mattered. This place was hostile, filled with dangers, distortions, and the exploitation of Liyue's fallen. Yet at the same time, it had preserved Bosacius.
Futsu Mitama shook his head slightly. "It likely won't be destroyed. If it were truly harmful to Liyue, Rex Lapis would have already acted."
Shenhe nodded. "What exists is reasonable."
Kuki Shinobu added, "Then should we activate the Fantastic Compass now, or wait?"
There was an unspoken implication. If it failed, Guizhong had already mentioned calling Morax directly.
"No need to wait," Futsu Mitama replied. "We leave now."
Sangonomiya Kokomi stepped forward. "Then who will inject the energy? According to Bosacius, both Adeptus and humans are required."
After brief consideration, Futsu Mitama said, "Xiao and I will try."
Xiao nodded.
The two stepped toward the Fantastic Compass and reached out—
"Buga!!!"
Tartaglia crashed to the ground nearby, bloodied, his Foul Legacy shattered.
"Good! Strong enough!!!" he said, forcing himself upright. He gave Black Aila a thumbs-up. "As expected. I acknowledge your strength."
Black Aila ignored him entirely, returning to stand behind Futsu Mitama.
"Then… let's begin." Futsu Mitama began injecting Anemo elemental power into the compass. Xiao did the same.
The device activated.
A magic circle spread outward, enveloping everyone. It began to rise, like an enormous elevator preparing to ascend.
"I'll handle the energy," Futsu Mitama said. "Xiao, protect me."
Xiao tightened his grip on his spear, scanning the surroundings.
The others followed suit, entering a state of vigilance.
"Buzz—!!"
Futsu Mitama poured more power into the compass. The magic circle surged upward, accelerating like a high-speed lift as it carried them out of the space.
Fast—very fast!!! Paimon, who did not react in time, simply flopped onto the ground.
"Ah, ah, ah, ah!!! This is too fast!!!" Paimon watched the magic circle rapidly ascend and shouted, "I have acrophobia!!!!"
"?" Lumine, who had already steadied herself, looked at Paimon with visible confusion.
You have acrophobia? Don't you fly in the sky every day? How can you be afraid of heights?!
It was not only Paimon; Sangonomiya Kokomi's eyes also lost their light. She covered her mouth with one hand while placing the other on Kuki Shinobu's shoulder.
"?" Kuki Shinobu was likewise somewhat surprised. She supported Sangonomiya Kokomi and asked, puzzled, "What's wrong? Is it just a little fast?"
"Should I slow down?" Futsu Mitama seemed to catch Kuki Shinobu's words and subconsciously reduced the speed.
As Futsu Mitama slowed down, red ghostly figures began to float out from the surrounding space, attempting to prevent them from leaving.
But Futsu Mitama paid them no mind. The aura of the three Archons—Electro, Geo, and Anemo—erupted from him, causing the red ghostly figures to hesitate, not daring to approach.
However, Sangonomiya Kokomi also witnessed this scene.
"No… nothing…" Sangonomiya Kokomi forced herself to remain composed and said seriously, "It's just that I can't adapt for a moment. Go faster, I can handle it."
Seeing Sangonomiya Kokomi say this, Futsu Mitama nodded slightly, thinking that Kokomi should not be so fragile.
Are you kidding me! She is the Orobashi Miko, even her bloodline was evolving. How could she faint?
With that thought, Futsu Mitama spoke in a firm tone, "Everyone! Hold on! I'm accelerating!"
In the next instant, Futsu Mitama injected a large amount of Elemental Power into the Fantastic Compass, and the magic circle shot upward at an astonishing speed!!!
Its velocity was extreme—far more thrilling than riding a roller coaster.
At such speed, Sangonomiya Kokomi's eyes completely lost their light, as though she had been utterly overwhelmed.
