Feeling curious, Yao Zhi looked around and realized that they were actually standing at the edge of a cliff. In front of her was a vast scenery of blue sky, villages, lakes, towns, and cities. She could even see the border wall from here.
"Ye Ying, Bai Xue, are we on the top of the mountain?" she asked in disbelief.
Both of her wolves nodded and stared at her as if asking for praise. Yao Zhi was speechless and went silent for a while.
In the end, she could only rub their necks and said, "Both of you are amazing." After a moment of pause, she added, "But, there is nothing here."
Hearing this, Bai Xue nudged her back gently. Being pushed by it, Yao Zhi walked forward. She noticed that her wolves might want to show her something, so she followed them.
They walked for half an hour before they saw a cave entrance in the distance. "Where are you taking me?" she asked with raised brows.
