Far from the white and desolate walls of the hospital, Claire was now walking along the bustling streets of the city. The soft rustle of her wine-red gown and the sharp tap-tap of her high heels sounded like the arrival of a princess. She watched as an old man laughed while holding his grandson in his arms, as a flower seller arranged his shop, and as people spoke to one another freely, without any trace of fear.
"There is so much peace here," Claire thought with a gentle smile. "Perhaps when I rang that massive bell in hell, its echo awakened Lucifer from a centuries-long sleep. He must have come and set everything right." She remembered the divine face of Aethelgard and the blessing she had given her. "That fairy… she said everything would be fine. Gandolf and Diana must have become one by now, the innocent people of the earth must have come back to life… but wait!"
